THE THREE SUPERNATURAL hunters, and the one female angel huddled around the small television sitting in Bobby's living room. A banner spread across the screen that read, 'Breaking News: CBA News.' Shortly after the title floated away, a news anchor took its place. She had a smile plastered onto her face as she spoke into the microphone, "The sudden deaths of two-hundred religious leaders are currently under investigation. The Vatican has yet to issue a statement, but some are already calling this an act of God."
The camera paneled left to a blonde woman with a frantic on her face. "We all saw him. No beard, no robe. He was young, a-and sexy! He had a raincoat." Before she could finish her sentence, Dean walked up to the television, and pressed the off button.
"Definitely Cas." Sam muttered.

ARIEL STEPPED OUT onto the porch of Bobby's house later that evening. She was met with the cluttered scenery of the junk yard located in the lot behind the home. Her eyes quickly caught sight of the two Winchester brothers on the other end. Dean was slaving away, back hunched over the engine and other under the shade of the hood. Sam stood beside the tool box, his arms crossed and his eyebrows furrowed.
The angel teleported herself there with only the sound of her wings flapping to mark her arrival. The sound of the radio muttering from beside the younger of the brothers was all she heard once she landed. "A freak lightning strike on the heels of the fire that burned down the Center for Vibrational Enlightenment earlier today," the announcer began. "This tragedy represents the largest loss in New Age motivational speakers."
"Motivational speakers?" Sam asked out.
Dean straightened his back, and glanced up at his brother. "I'm not sure new Cas gets the irony any better than old Cas. Of course, old Cas wouldn't smite Madison Square Garden just to prove a point. He is off the deep end of the deep end, and there's no slowing down."
"Tell me about it." Ariel muttered. She could not agree with any of the dicey decisions that her brother was making. Dean was right, and it pained her to think that because she didn't know how to stop him.
Sam hesistantly asked, "So, what? Try to talk to him again?"
"Sam." Dean warned with a shake of his head.
Ariel took a step towards the brothers and let out a sigh. They both snapped their attention to her as she said, "Dean, all we can do is talk to him. Maybe there's something we don't know."
"Something we don't know? He's God, and he's royally pissed off. And when God gets righteous, you get the hell out of the way. Haven't you read the Bible?"
Sam sighed, "I guess."
"I'm in the Bible." Ariel said with a proud smile on her face. Though the happiness faded when neither of the two even spared her a look.
Dean shook his head. "Cas is never coming back. He lied to us, he used us, he cracked Sam's gourd like it was nothing! No more talk, we have spent enough of our time on him." His many aggressive outbreaks made it clear to the other adults that Dean was no longer in the mood to discuss the matter.
"Okay." Sam muttered.
After a few seconds, Dean outstretched his arm and said, "Hand me the socket wrench."

DARKNESS SOON ENGULFED the entire home, putting all of the males in the house to sleep. Ariel remained downstairs, wide awake, for angels don't need to sleep. She had become accustomed to the loneliness she found herself in during the late hours of the night. To pass the time, Ariel would occasionally read whatever book she could find lying about to ease her boredom.
A few weeks had passed since her and Sam shared the intimate moment when he fixed the disheveled feathers on her golden wings. It really wasn't a big deal to Ariel herself, but her boss, Naomi, would not be fond of the gesture one bit. Ariel prayed that she wouldn't find out about it.
However, her thoughts seemed to be against her when in a split second her surroundings changed into the pearly white office of Naomi herself. Ariel gripped the arms of the black chairs that she had suddenly fallen into as her boss gave her an angry smile.
"You disobeyed my orders." Naomi spoke plainly.
Ariel tilted her head to the side, "You are going to have to be more clear than that."
"You have feelings for Sam Winchester." Naomi spat.
Ariel smirked. "Well, sure. He's a ally of mine. A friend, if you will."
Naomi's face scrunched in annoyance as she swiped her hand from left to right in front of her face. Immediately, Ariel could no longer move her lips as they were suddenly plastered shut. Naomi stood to her feet, and leaned towards the other angel. Ariel could almost feel the anger radiating off of her. "Cut the smug attitude, you know exactly what I'm talking about. If your amorous feelings for Sam Winchester continue to develop, you will be exiled. Mark my words."
With a wave of her hand, Naomi sent Ariel back into Bobby's living room. The archangel took a sharp breath in as her surroundings suddenly changed for the second time that night. Her thoughts ran rapid in her brain. Was she really to become exiled? How does one even stop feelings from developing? Why was she feeling this way, she's an angel! Angels don't have emotions.
As all the thoughts swirled in her head, Ariel didn't notice another being enter the room. "Ariel?" A voice called out, drawing her from her imagination. She snapped her head up to see Sam Winchester standing before her. "Are you okay?" He asked.
Sam was possibly the last person Ariel wanted to see at that moment. "I am fine," She muttered after collecting herself.
"You didn't look fine a few seconds ago." He noted while taking a few steps towards her.
Ariel stepped back quickly and snapped, "I said I am fine." Sam's face faltered slightly at her aggressive tone, making a sudden feeling of guilt run through Ariel's body. There it was. Another feeling that Ariel could feel. What was happening to her?
"I am sorry. I have a lot going through my head right now." She spoke.
Sam nodded, for he understood. "It's alright." He muttered before the two fell into a silence. Neither of them knew what to say. Sam didn't want to push her, and Ariel did not feel like talking to him. However, Sam cut through the tension by asking, "Can I straighten out your feathers?"
Ariel thought for a moment. She had always been taught to never show her true wings, for that was to be saved for an intimate relationship, usually with another angel. Ariel knew for a fact that engaging in this behavior would only increase the chances of her developing deeper feelings for Sam. However, when she was with him, she didn't care. It was almost like she was drawn to him, and quite frankly, that scared her.
Ariel slightly nodded her head, and shrugged off her jacket. Her shirt concealed beneath had been torn to shreds from the previous time her wings had forcibly pushed through it. She made a mental note for herself to find a new one.
Without much warning, her two golden wings sprung out from her back. Sam was left breathless at the magnificent sight.
Shortly after, the male was outstretching his arm, and straightening the feathers at the base of the wings. Instantly, they flinched from the sudden contact. Ariel muttered a 'sorry.'
Silence overcame both of them as Sam smoothed out each and every feather. Ariel took the time to just reminisce on all of the things she had done since coming into contact with the Winchester family. She thought of the first day they all met — how Dean wanted nothing to do with her and her business. Luckily Sam was there to step in, and convince his brother to trust her.
All of her thoughts ceased when the male completely disregarded all of the warnings she had specifically described to him. Without any type of alert, he grabbed a fistful of the feathers at the base and gave them a light tug. Ariel took in a sharp breath immediately as her pupils dilated at a rapid speed. She turned around at such a fast speed that Sam was almost knocked over from the sudden impact of the wind. Ariel grabbed his hand, and sneered, "What did I tell you about doing that?"
"I'm just curious," Sam smirked. The angel rolled her eyes as she reached for her jacket. "Come on, Ariel. I'm sorry. It won't happen a third time."
Ariel furrowed her eyebrows, "Third ti-" she began. Sam ran full speed behind her, and grabbed at the feathers for the second time that night. A feeling shot up the angel's body at the contact that clouded all of her thoughts.
Without any warning, she turned and threw the male against the closest wall, almost knocking a picture off in the process.
In a split second, the angel had Sam cornered with no where to turn to. With lust clouding her eyes, she grabbed onto his long hair and threw his head back. Shorty after, she attached her lips to his neck. Sam jumped, but was helpless at the angel's sudden immense strength holding him down. A few seconds later, Ariel pulled herself away to reveal a small, pink blotch left on his skin.
"Are you still wondering what happens when you pull on my feathers?" Ariel smirked. In a split second, she had disappeared in thin air. Sam was left there stunned.
