I woke up and my pillow was soaked. I heard Cato calling my name.
"Clove! I never got to finish!" He was right outside my door.
"Go away Cato. I knew what you meant." I stated and he opened the door. "Saying to go away wasn't an invitation inside." I exclaimed.
"I only loved her like a sister and I mean it. I love you like a girlfriend or even more than that." Cato said and I hugged him as he was sitting next to me. He hugged back and I just looked into his eyes.
"I'm sorry I misunderstood, but you can't lead me on like that." I stated.
"I won't do it again." Cato said.
"Now let's go eat. Food is set in the dining room." Cato stated and I stood up.
"I don't care what Effie says, I'm eating dinner like this." I exclaimed as we walked out of the room.
"Where did your dress go?" Effie asked.
"It wasn't anything I did. She was in that when I got there." Cato stated making me laugh.
"I like this better. I'll be classy tomorrow." I exclaimed sitting down to eat. We all ate dinner and it was just so good. Then dessert came and I was so happy. There was one champagne and raspberry cupcake and I took it before Effie could lay a finger on it.
"I'm sorry... my mom just made these for me when it was my brithday and I miss them." I stated.
"It's okay. I'll just take an orange cream." She said taking the orange one. I ate my cupcake and looked at Cato. He was enjoying some chocolate ice cream and had a chocolate mustache making me giggle.
"You have a little... chocolate above your top lip." I stated in between giggles. I laughed as he tried to get it off with his tongue. I finally took a napkin and got it off my self.
"Excuse us Effie. We are just gonna go to sleep now." Cato said picking me up and carrying me to his room. It was the same as mine, but something was different. I couldn't put my finger on it yet, but I knew I would later.
Cato kissed me and I kissed back. His arms felt safe and I knew I didn't want to leave him. I kissed him once more and smiled.
"I missed you." I stated.
"I missed you too." Cato exclaimed as tears ran down our faces. He kissed me and I kissed back. We kissed and ~stuff~ for a while. We were cuddling under the covers when we heard something that didn't seem to be good.
"Effie what does this mean?! They can't still be alive it's impossible!" It was a male's voice that echoed from the main room.
"Haymitch calm down. Snow wants them alive for some reason that I don't even know yet. Just let it go." Effie said and we heard a door slam. I decided it was best for me to sleep and not to get involved. I fell asleep safely in Cato's arm not worrying about a thing.
