Well, everyone, after frantic consideration and a very late night, I am so very pleased to announce The Tortured Poet's Department of Hogwarts!!

I want to make one thing extremely clear: I LOVE EVERY SINGLE OC SO, SO DEEPLY. You all are such wonderful writers and gifted me with such beautiful characters to work with. I am eternally grateful. There was a moment in which I was afraid this story wouldn't happen and you all made it happen and extremely well at that. My notes app is a disaster and will continue to be so until the end of the story, I'm sure.

If your OC is not on the board that does not make your character less important. While, yes, it is technically a 'side cast', it will not be written as such. Still remain active because your character is very important and crucial! They just are strictly writers as opposed to board members with administrative responsibilities. I omitted love interests for them, not because of frequency in the story or lack of character depth but because of plot. It's hard to write a love story for every character.

Opinions are due on Tuesday, March 26! I love to be lenient with deadlines since I know everyone is extremely busy and has outside lives. Yet, with this story I simply can't be. This is a strict deadline. I really hope to have this story done by Taylor's album release on April 19 which will make this a quick-paced book. If you do not have your opinions in, I will make them up. I love to give you control over your characters as they are yours and you know them best but I will begin to make my own decisions.

When writing your opinions please be aware of others and the story as a whole. Also, don't be afraid of drama or backstory! I'd love to have characters with a bit of history or something more to it than basic friendly acquaintanceship.

Okay, now I will hush. I feel like I've rambled on lol. I blame the coffee. Again, thank you all so much! I can't wait to begin writing.
