Kunpimook made his way down the halls to Mark's apartment, knocking on the door. He stands back and waits for a moment, expecting Mark to open the door.
Little did he know, Mark wasn't even home at the moment. Mark was still sat at the park, looking up at the sky as thoughts flew through his head. His phone sat dead in his pocket, not seeming to care if anyone was trying to reach him.
"Asshole," Kunpimook mumbles, knocking on the door again. "Open up!"
He kept waiting and waiting, to no prevail. He scoffed, trying to call Mark once again. Yet he was only sent to voicemail, making him even more angry than before.
"I swear," Kunpimook mumbles. He groans and walks back to the apartment, swinging the door open. He slams it behind himself, throwing his keys down.
He looked around for Jackson, not seeing him where he was when he left him before. That worried him. He slowly walked through the living room, calling the other's name.
"Jackson?" Kunpimook calls, opening the door to his bedroom. He looked around, still not seeing him.
"Jackson!" Kunpimook calls again, louder this time. "Jackson Wang!"
He opens the door to the other bedroom, looking in. He was about to yell Jackson's name again, but stopped when he saw the other.
Jackson was sat on the bed, looking out the window. His back was facing Kunpimook as he look through the window; the curtains were pushed back so that he could see better along with the blinds. He could hear Jackson mumbling words the closer he listened.
"I'm all alone,"
"Just me."
"Just Jackson."
He stifled out a cold laugh as he continued to mumble.
"Annoying and greedy."
"Two soulmates?"
"Selfish."
Kunpimook stood in silence as he listened to Jackson's words. Though after Jackson too became silent, the younger decided to speak up.
"Jackson..." He says, his hands cold and clammy.
Jackson turns around, looking at Kunpimook with a sad smile. His bandages were off of his head, a small bit of blood trickling down his temple.
"No," Kunpimook makes quick work of his actions, walking to the bed and wiping Jackson's blood with his bare hand. He then realizes that blood had also stained the bed's comforter, and the shoulder of Jackson's shirt, as well as the sleeve.
"Why did you take these off?" Kunpimook says, panic in his voice. He was referring to the bandages, of course, though Jackson didn't seem to catch on.
"Take what off?" Jackson says, tilting his head.
"Don't do that!" Kunpimook says, gently pushing Jackson's head straight. "Your bandages. Why did you take them off?"
"What bandages?"
"Jackson, what happened while I was gone?" Kunpimook says, cupping Jackson's cheeks.
"I don't know," Jackson says, pursing his lips.
Kunpimook looks at him, confused. "Come on, I don't want you out of my sight," He says, extending his hand out.
"Why's that?" Jackson says, curious.
"Because," Kunpimook says, "We have to find your bandages and I can't have you getting hurt again."
"Okay," Jackson says, holding his hand and stumbling a bit as he walked out of the room with him. Jackson's hand was cold, and sweaty. He was so pale, his hand barely held on to Kunpimook's.
Kunpimook walks into the bathroom, the only room he hadn't checked yet. He turned on the light, his eyes widening as he did.
Jackson's bandages sat on the floor, along with a pool of blood. A towel sat near the sink, along with a pair of fresh clothes.
"What happened?" Kunpimook asks, his eyes darting all over the room.
"Can't remember~" Jackson says, stumbling back a little bit and holding onto the doorframe.
"Shit," Kunpimook mumbles, trying to think of any possible scenarios. Because of the fresh clothes and towel on the sink's counter, he could only assume that Jackson was going to take a shower. Which in itself was stupid; Jackson knew that he needed help to wash his hair because of his bandages.
Though, Kunpimook guessed that he took his bandages off, attempted to get into the shower, and slipped on the tile floor, hitting his head on it. That explained the blood and the bandages. Kunpimook sighed, looking over at the other.
"You should've called me if you fell, Jackson! We need to go to the hospital."
"N-" Jackson started to respond, stumbling back a bit. "No hospital!" He says, his eyes widening. "Can't!" He continues to be unbalanced, falling backwards once his body couldn't handle anymore.
He falls to the ground, his head slamming onto it. Kunpimook nearly screams, trying to catch Jackson but fails. Jackson goes unconscious, his eyes closed.
"No, no, fuck!" Kunpimook panics, desperately looking for his phone to call an ambulance.
