Taishiro crosses his arms he looks at the ground then at his mother "mom you have to find some sort of level ground with Hina here she's trying so hard to please you"
"that's the whole point Tai" Mrs. Toyomitsu looks at her nails then back at Taishiro "she's tryin' to hard look my baby your hearts to big and soft for this world I just don't wanna see you get played"
"mom I'm a pro hero I know how-"
Mrs. Toyomitsu puts a finger out to Taishiro and shushes him, "this woman needs to handle me before she can get to you"
One of the nights Hina gets thirsty she gets out of bed careful not to wake up Taishiro. She heads downstairs quietly to get a glass of water stops when she overhears Taishiro's parents talking.
She mostly hears his mom's voice she's saying "sweetheart she's got you wrapped around her finger as well I'm a women I can see it she's just gonna break his little heart" Hina feels a stinging in her chest as Mrs. Toyomitsu continues, "I don't trust any of them city girls always flittering from one man to the next who says she ain't gonna do that the second they get back to the city huh? Y'all can't guarantee it I can already tell that our baby boy fell hard so I gotta stop this before it gets any worse" Hina starts tears up hearing Mrs. Toyomitsu continue "darlin' she just ain't good for 'im I can already see it now this relationship crashin' and burnin' and leavin' Tai is a broken hearted pile of tears"
Hina silently starts crying and goes to her room that's separate from Taishiro and thinks about her next step.
