Ara was lining up behind a queue of women, waiting for her turn to get served breakfast. It was cereal this morning, with a splash of milk. Ara, holding her bowl in her hands, stepped up to the counter and held it out, expecting for her helping of cereal. But it wouldn't come. The cook was looking at her, her brows raised.

"The Hologram was stolen last night" she said. Ara looked back at her and raised her eye brows back at her.

"And according to Kat it was during your shift!" Slowly she could feel her cheeks burn red.

"Isn't that a bit of a coincidence since you apparently have a soft spot for the men.."

"Catherine, I think you are spending too long on one customer don't you think?" Looking behind her shoulder, Ara saw Agent Caroline standing behind her, hands on hips, giving Catherine a dirty look.

"Yes ma'am" she said turning away from the counter. Ara gave out a breath of relief. She started to walk away..

"Oh no, you are coming with me!" Ara looked at the Agent, she was looking at her in all seriousness; hands on her hips, cold stare, sharp posture. With a quick movement, Agent Caroline turned and walked away from the canteen, obviously wanting Ara to follow. With an exasperated sigh, Ara ran to catch up with the agent. Where she was being led, Ara didn't know, probably to her office, or a room of some sort. They were in the middle of a corridor when, all of a sudden, Caroline stopped and turned towards Ara. She was being given a glare, so frozen that she got goose bumps all over her body. Mentally, Ara felt herself shrink away from the woman, she was terrified of this person. If she is a person at all. She said to herself.

"Ara, what was all that commotion in the canteen?" Ara grasped for an answer, any answer she could come up with.

"I don't know Ma'am, she just assumed something that isn't true I suppose" she stuttered. She watched as the Agent's eye brows slowly raised. She didn't believe her.

"Are you sure that was all it was? She was getting pretty pissed." Ara, as calmly as she could, nodded. Caroline stepped up right into Ara's face, only a few inches from her. She could feel the breath on her face as she stood her ground.

"If you are lying, Ara, I will find out, and you will be punished. If I find out on my own terms that you somehow helped the boys take our Hologram, then you will be executed and then used as an example of betrayal. I will not have a lair in our camp!"

"And so I would like for all of you, to put your arms together in honor of this brave man. A man who has brought the very thing that we needed to end this war, a man who risked his life in order to do us proud, a man who we need more of! Gentlemen, today we celebrate! Today we rest! Today we drink our hearts to Jack Harrmann!" Cheers and claps came from the crowd as Jack stepped up onto the stage. Banners with his face rolled down, small fireworks were let off and small bits of paper rained down upon him. His heart was pounding as he stood next to the Colonel. He looked at his audience as he shook hands with the big man. Slowly he became aware that he was being led to the pedestal, where the mike was strapped. The noise began to die down as he stood up and faced the crowd. All of a sudden, he felt very self conscious and began to tuck his shirt in. When he had nothing else about his outfit to perfect, he put his hands on the edges on the pedestal and leaned on it. He took a deep breath,

"Thank you, gentlemen, for coming here today to listen to the Colonel say how brave and brilliant I was. How I ran into the girls' camp and took the thing that was probably most valuable to them, how I outsmarted them and snuck back over the border, back to home, how I kept out of sight and came back over the border without any problems.. Well that wasn't the case. You see, I.."

"Give a warm hand to Jack Harrmann, the best out of us all" The Colonel shook his hand once again and pinned a badge to his breast pocket; a gold colored medal with a red ribbon. For a second time, the crowd created the most miraculous noise he had ever heard, and listened to it until he was lead again to the back of the stage.
