She was back. It had only been ten days but she was back. She had to tell Lysander some very important information. Her eyes were red and tear stains ran down her face.

'Back so soon?' She could practically hear him say.

"Yeah I'm back. I hope you don't mind." She knew he didn't. "I have some... Interesting news to tell you."
Halia wrung her hands in discomfort as she sat on the cold ground.

"I went to the doctor's today..." Halia looked at the ground as she spoke.

"I did something I'm not proud of. Remember how I didn't come see you on your death day? I planned too, but then I got really depressed. So I went to the bar. I took a shot, then another, then another... I tried to drown my sorrows with alcohol."

Lysander would not be happy with her if he had been there right then. She could practically imagine him, standing there, his arms crossed, shaking his head.

"It gets worse. I was really drunk, like nearly blackout drunk. I made a really bad decision. I went home with a guy."

'Halia Aisling having a one night stand? Now I've seen everything.' She could imagine him teasing her about.

"Ly, I'm not done. It was just one night... But it changed my life."

'Halia, what are you saying?' Lysander would've asked her.

Halia broke down in tears. "I-I'm pregnant."

"I wish you were here even more than ever. Ly, I don't want to do it alone. I can't do it alone."

'Halia Juliette Aisling, you are stronger than that. Don't you dare doubt yourself. That's not the Halia I know.'  He would have told her.

"The Halia you knew died when you did. Ly, I lost my best friend that day. I lost a part of me. I don't have many other friends. There's not many good things in my life anymore. No matter how hard I try to be happy or to smile I can't be genuine about it. I lost my best friend, the only person who could keep me from hurting."

Halia wiped away her tears with her gloves. "Look at me. I'm talking to a tombstone like you can actually hear me. I'm pathetic."

'No you're not...' He would have told her. Only he wasn't there...
