Chapter 37

Back in class, Eva was at Todoroki's desk, he was giving her his notes from the classes she missed. She missed more than Izuku and the others, so she was doing everything to catch up. Including early morning classes before the school day actually started.

"Hey, guys! C'mere! Check this!" Ashido called out. Eva looked over, music started playing, and Ashido started to dance very well. "I'm a breakdancing queen!"

"Aw, yeah!" Sero cheered.

"Get it!" Hagakure cheered.

"Clock this breakdown!" Ashido exclaimed.

"You're on fire!" Sero cheered.

"She obviously practiced extensively," Aoyama commented as they all watched and admired.

"Why're wearing shorts underneath your skirt?" Mineta cried.

"When will you learn to stop being such a creep?" Hagakure demanded as she repeatedly hit Mineta on the head.

"I bet Ashido's dancing skills end up being super useful in hand-to-hand combat," Izuku said as he looked at his notebook. "When it comes to a fight, she would have complete control over every part of her body."

"Oui. I've witnessed that," Aoyama groaned as he walked over. "She burned through my cape in our first training match, and then, in the sports festival finals...I will never forget that."

"Huh, maybe I should take up dancing, too," Izuku said. Eva glared at him, he always told her no. Eva could see the sweat forming on him. Mineta noticed a little and step away from Izuku a bit.

"She could teach ya!" Kaminari lit up.

"Aw, yeah, boi, let's see what moves you've got," Ashido urged as she got in position.

"Um, okay!" Izuku panicked. "Please show me how."

"We'll start with somethin' easy," Ashido said as she began to move her feet. "Step forward and back and left and right, while swinging both arms. Make sure you're stayin' loose!"

"Sure," Izuku sweated. He and Aoyama started to dance in a very choppy manner. "Think I got it! Yep!"

"This reminds me of how Sato's always baking stuff," Kaminari said. "It's a hobby, but also helps out with hero work. Man. So smart." He looked back at Jiro. "Speaking of hobbies, I bet yours is the same, Jiro."

"What?" Jiro asked. "I don't know..."

"Come on!" Kaminari exclaimed. "Your dorm room looks like a recording studio! One look and I could tell music is your whole life."

"Drop it, moron," Jiro ordered. "Forget about what you saw in there." She blushed madly.

"Oh, yeah," Kaminari smiled. "That's passion. For real, though. You should start a jam sess--" He whimpered when the earphone jack reached his face.

"Just shut it," Jiro ordered, she angrily went to her seat.

"What?" Kaminari asked. The other students got to their seats, Eva tapped on Izuku's back, he slowly looked back.

"You always tell me no," whispered Eva leaning forward. Jiro looked back at them.

"That was before coming here," said Izuku.

"Katsuki never says no when I ask," said Eva. "You said it each time." Katsuki was now pretending not to hear the conversation.

"Kacchan is unable to say no to you," argued Izuku, turning his body.

"He says no to me," disagreed Eva. "I can count on my hands." Katsuki began to count on his fingers how many times he's said no to Eva, he held up 5 to Jiro. In a 8 year friendship, Katsuki has said no to her 5 times. And two of the times revovled around watching the conjuring and paranormal activity at midnight with candles lit for effect. He thought back to when Eva asked him to go to the store with him, he said no to going in, so technically that didn't count as a no.

"What? Half a pinky?" asked Izuku making a face.

Soon they were all seated Aizawa was starting class.

"It's coming. The school festival," Aizawa announced in his sleeping bag.

"Normal school stuff!" the students cheered, and some of them got out of their seats.

"So awesome!" Mineta cheered.

"Gotta love this time of year!" Sero cheered.

"We gotta think of something cool to do!" Hagakure cheered.

"Hold on, Mr. Aizawa," Kirishima said as he got out of his seat. "Are you sure this is okay?"

"Hush, Kirishima. Don't you ruin this!" Kaminari ordered.

"Think about it, though," Kirishima urged. "There are villains everywhere right now!"

"You're right," Aizawa agreed as he zipped up his sleeping bag. "That's a reasonable point. However, there are students here besides those in the hero course. You get the spotlight every year at the sports fest. This is for everyone else. The support course, general studies, and don't forget the business course students. This doesn't get as much attention as the sports fest, but it's still the yearly event they all look forward to. Many of your peers are feeling stressed out by conditions here at UA. Especially the dorm system, which had to be adopted because of the hero course."

"When you put it like that, guess it'd be unfair to cancel it," Kirishima said as he sat back down.

"Correct," Aizawa confirmed. "So, yeah. It's still on. And hopefully, everyone will enjoy it. Thought unlike festivals in the past, this year's will only be open to UA students and staff. With a few exceptions." He sat against the wall. "You may not be the focus this time, but your class still needs to participate with some kind of original programming. You need to decide what you want to do today." He then went to sleep, snoring lightly.

"He's out!" They exclaimed.

"All right!" Iida shouted as he stepped in front of the class with Yaoyorozu, he had papers in his hand. "As class representative, it is my duty to facilitate the process from here! I promise I will do my very best. Let's start! First, we will have a quick brainstorming session! If anyone has an idea, raise your hand!"

"Me, me, me, me!" Everyone pleaded with their hand up.

"Well, I wasn't expecting such enthusiasm!" Iida exclaimed. "Calm down now! We'll go one at a time, please. Yes! You, Kaminari!"

"A maid cafe!" Kaminari suggested. "Seriously! Imagine it! Now imagine it again but with more details. And if you imagine me at the center of the action...Oh, yeah. I think we've got a winner."

"Maids," Iida said. "It is good to serve others."

"That's way too lame!" Mineta argued.

"Mineta!" Iida called.

"A topless--" Mineta began.

"Wanna help me tie this off?" Tsu asked as she put Mineta on hold.

"Sure thing," Sato answered.

"A mochi cafe!" Urakaka suggested.

"Celebrating Japanese cuisine!" Iida said.

"An arm-wrestling match," Kirishima suggested.

"So intense!" Iida said.

"A giant mushroom maze!" Eva suggested.

"Sounds magical!" Iida said.

"A funhouse!" Hagakure suggested.

"I don't know what you mean, but sounds interesting!" Iida said.

"A creperie!" Sato suggested.

"That'd be great for eating on the go!" Iida said.

"Disco!" Ashido suggested.

"Sounds invigorating!" Iida said.

"A hero quiz," Izuku suggested.

"As I'd expect from you!" Iida said.

"The Frog Song is a round," Tsu suggested.

"How charming!" Iida said.

"Maybe a petting zoo," Koda suggested.

"Also a suggestion!" Iida said.

"Soba stall," Todoroki suggested.

"It is your favorite!" Iida said.

"Fight to the death," Katuski suggested with an evil smile.

"Unexpected for a festival," Iida said.

"A mad banquet of darkness," Tokoyami suggested.

"Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh!" Iida responded.

"A twinkling extravaganza!" Aoyama suggested.

"Huh?" Iida asked.

"Maybe a skit?" Jiro asked.

"Possibly!" Iida said. Kaminari seemed bothered by Jiro's suggestion. "Right. Anybody else?"

"A traditional cafe!" Sero suggested.

"A dance routine!" Ojiro suggested.

"Takoyaki shop," Shoji suggested. Soon all the options were on the board.

"Okay. I think we've got something from everyone how," Iida said.

"To begin with, let's cut some," Yaoyorozu said as she looked at the board. "Anything inappropriate, impossible, or confusing, or possibly cursing." Mushroom Maze, Students of Darkness Feast, Death Match, My Twinkling Show, and Zoo all got cut. Aoyama and Eva gasped.

"So harsh," Tokoyami breathed.

"Aww," Mineta groaned.

"Why'd you even bother asking?" Katuski asked.

"Who said a local history presentation?" Hagakure asked. "That sounds super boring."

"Definitely," Shoji agreed.

"It's not awful, but the others seem more fun," Ojiro said.

"Very well, my classmates have spoken," Iida gave in as they ruled out his idea.

"And we do group study sessions all the time," Kaminari added.

"Yes, that's true," Yaoyorozu confirmed as her idea got ruled out. "I guess..."

"What if we rolled all the food stuff into one idea?" Sero asked.

"Doesn't Soba with crepes kinda sound gross?" Kirishima asked.

"Besides, seems kinda weird to offer a buncha random food," Jiro added.

"Quiet down!" Iida ordered.

"I'm telling you--a fun house would be so cool!" Hagakure tried to push her idea.

"What does that even mean?" Kaminari asked.

"What is a funhouse?" Eva asked.

"It's super cool!" Hagakure answered.

"Silence!" Iida ordered. "Be civil!" They continued to talk.

"A consense is going to be difficult," Yaoyorozu said.

"Order! Please!" Iida shouted more. Then the bell chimed for them to leave.

"That was a highly unproductive meeting," Aizawa said as he went over to the door. "Decide what you'll do by tomorrow morning. If you don't, we'll go with my idea: an education lecture." He looked back at them.

"You mean, just a class?" Everyone asked.

"Who'd come see that?" Kaminari asked.

"I think they'd get weirded out by Izuku's muttering," Eva said.

"It's not that bad!" Izuku argued as he looked back at her.

"He's joking, right?" Sero asked.

"No way. We'll decide what we're gonna do by tonight!" Kirishima assured.

"Yeah!" all the students agreed. That night Eva was still back at the school, doing some of the extra lessons.

"Eri said that she wants to see Midoriya and Yuki?" Tsu asked.

"Yes," Aizawa confirmed. "More specifically, she seems concerned about those two and Togata. Apparently, this is her only request since she regained consciousness. So we're obliging her." Eva and Izuku gasped with joy to see Eri again.

*****

The next day, Eva, Mirio, and Izuku went to visit Eri in the hospital with Aizawa.

"Eri!" they greeted as they opened the door.

"Huh?" Eri asked as they walked in.

"Sorry we couldn't come to you sooner," Eva apologized.

"We brought you some yummy snacks though!" Mirio said as he held up a basket of fruits. "Hope you're feelin' hungry! What's your favorite fruit? Oh! No! Lemme guess. Peaches are your fav, right? 'Cause, you're a peach!"

"Apples," Eri answered as she held the basket.

"Yeah, that's what I meant!" Mirio exclaimed. "Let's get this sucker peeled for ya! It'll be delicious.

"Are we sure this is okay?" a nurse asked as they watched Eri reach out toward Eva, she then pulled away. She was staring at the wings.  "You said it'd better for her to be quarantined and kept from anyone involved in the incident." Eva lifted one of her wings, putting them in front of Eri, so it would be a closer reach.

"I was worried about her powers, but now I don't think we need to be concerned," the doctor said. "Currently, there's not enough energy left in that girl to go out of control."

Eri gently touched Eva's wing. "This whole time, even when I had a fever, all I could think about was how much you did for me. How you saved me. But...I don't even know what to call you. I know Lemillion's name, but that's it. So, who are you two?"

"I'm Izuku Midoriya," Izuku answered. "My hero name is Deku! You know what? Deku's probably easier to remember since it's shorter. So yeah, I'm Deku!"

"A hero name?" Eri repeated.

"It's like a nickname, sorta," Izuku answered.

"Deku," Eri said.

"Mhmm," Izuku nodded. "Right!"

"What is your name?" Eri asked looking at Eva.

"My name is Eva Yuki," Eva answered. "My hero name is Violet Gust...you can call me Eva."

"So Lemillion, Deku, and Eva," Eri said. "And then...There was the man wearing the glasses. All of you ended up getting really bad because of me." She looked down really sad with tears in her eyes. "It's all my fault. All the terrible stuff that happened...I'm so sorry. I know that...that you lost your power because you were protecting me, Lemillion."

"Eri," Mirio breathed as he put a hand on her head. "I guarantee that none of us think this was your fault. You know what we are thinking though? Man, I am stupid glad that Eri's okay. So ya see, there's no point in apologizing. Promise! Don't worry about it. Besides, everyone fought because they wanted to see you smile." Eri reached over, wiping the tears off her face, then pulled back. Eri then started to grunt as she tried to move her mouth. She even started to pull on her cheeks.

"Huh?" they all asked.

"This is so silly," Eri said as more tears formed in her eyes. "I think I've forgotten how smiling feels."

"Eri," Eva breathed as she gently reached her hand forward again. She put it on the side of the girl's face, wiping away the tears. Eri gently grabbed Eva's hand. She pulled it away, then gently began to feel it, she then put Eva's hand back on the side of her face.

"Mr. Aizawa!" Izuku called as he got up, going over to the door. "Do you think Eri could leave the hospital? Just for one day, I mean."

"It's not totally out of the question," Aizawa answered. "Actually, we were thinking we might have her--"

"Then I have an idea to bring her spirits up!" Izuku cut him off.

"And what would that be?" Aizawa asked.

"She should come with us to the UA festival!"

"Ha!" Mirio smiled as the light in his head broke.

"What's a festival?" Eri asked.

"Eri, this is the best idea ever!" Mirio exclaimed as he faced her. "You're gonna have such a blast! A school festival is a festival that takes place at our school! It's great! All the students do super-duper exciting things for the rest of the classes to have fun with."

"And there's super yummy food!" Eva added as she pulled her hand back, then put her hands in the air to add to the excitement.

"There are different games and performances," Mirio added. "Oh! And get this! I bet there'll be candy apples there!"

"What're candy apples?" Eri asked as Eva put her hands on her knees.

"It's when they dip an apple into come crackly sugar stuff and make it even sweeter!"

"Sweeter how?" Eri asked.

"You are going to love it," Eva assured.

"All right," Aizawa said as he looked at his phone. "I'll talk it over with the principal."

"Thank you!" Izuku answered. He turned to the little girl. "Well, Eri. What do you think?"

"You know, a minute ago, when I didn't know your name, I was sad and didn't know what to do," Eri said. "Because I knew more than anything that I just wanted to be friends with people who helped me."

"Yes! That's what we want, too!" Mirio cheered, he then turned to the other two. "We should start putting a case together to convince the principal. That way we can be sure she'll be allowed to come out."

"Yeah!" Izuku agreed as Eva nodded.

"I'm on a break from school right now, so I can totally hang out with you before our festival date!" Mirio informed as he looked back at Eri.

"Our date?" Eri asked as she tilted her head.

"That's when two people who like each other spend time together," Eva explained.

"So, we're going on a date?" Eri asked as she looked at Mirio.

"Maybe that's enough for today," Izuku laughed. Soon they were leaving Eva was informed that she would be allowed to visit Eri on the weekends until Eri moved on campus into the teacher's dorms.

****

The next day at school, everyone was heading back to the dorms as the extra class students stayed behind.

"Still making up classes from your work-study?" Ojiro asked.

"Yeah!" Kirishima confirmed.

"Yes, sorry," Izuku apologized.

"Aw, there's no need to apologize," Ojiro assured. "We'll handle the school festival prep while you catch up."

"Thank you, Ojiro!" Eva exclaimed, they then went to attend their extra lessons. Soon enough they went back to the dorms to find their classmates super excited. Eva could feel her wings starting to get itchy, along the pain in her fingers had returned.

"Hey, you guys," Kirishima greeted they looked over at them.

"Sorry we're showing up late," Izuku apologized.

"We finally made up the classes we missed during our work studies, and now we can help out for real!" Urakaka cheered.

"Just tell us what you have in mind so far," Eva said.

"Ribbit," Tsu said. Their class then took the time to explain to them the idea. "I see. So we've decided to go with rave rock club music for our performance?"

"Having Jiro on the bass and Yaoyorozu on keyboards make sense for sure, but..." Kirishima began.

"Bakugo on the drums is kind of, uh, how do I put it?" Urakaka began.

"Shocking!" Hagakure answered.

"You got a problem with me?!" Katsuki raged at her; Urakaka, Kirishima, and Tsu all shook their heads no.

"It fits him," Eva said as she recalled back to when they were younger. She remembered sitting in the garage as Katsuki showed Eva what he had learned at lessons, she clapped each time.

"Are you only saying this because of how long you've known each other?" Hagakure asked.

"No," Eva denied. "There's a lot of boom to drums, just like his quirk."

"I'm getting what you mean!" Kirishima exclaimed as he made a fist facing her. "That means Bakugo is perfect for the drums!"

"Yeah!" Eva exclaimed as she held up a fist. They touched fists.

"Question. Who'll be singing?" Tsu asked.

"Well, we haven't figured that part out yet," Jiro answered.

"Huh? Doesn't it have to be you, Jiro?" Urakaka asked.

"Uhh!" Jiro panicked as she leaned back.

"Lead singers get all the chicks," Mineta said. "I could do it."

"Just imagine a singing disco ball," Aoyama said. "C'est magnifique!"

"Guys! Not to brag, but I'm a pretty awesome singer!" Kirishima offered himself up. He suddenly had a mic and began to sing, the ocean behind him. "Tough guy captain of the ship. Stand up tall. Cuz you are the manliest."

"Yeah, that's not the right genre," Urakaka said. Mineta then had the mic and was just yelling.

"And that's just yelling," Ashido said.

"Ahhhhh," Aoyama sang.

"Wrong genre," Eva said. "Though I'd be happy to sing with you on a different occasion."

Izuku lit up. "Eva's a bit of a singer herself." Katsuki nodded, he convinced her to join the school choir, came to every performance. One of the rare times he has agreed not to be mean to Izuku. Eva had gotten a few solos, wanting to be fair to the other students. " She's a big fan of Phantom of the Opera." He looked at her.

"I'm not singing for this," said Eva.  "Not the right genre." Reality, she wanted Jiro to sing like Urakaka.

"Oh, boy," Hagakure sighed. "I'm with Ochaco. It's gotta be you, Jiro! When you were teaching us how to play instruments in your room, your singing was super cool! I know you'll bring the house down."

"Come on, it wasn't that great," Jiro denied. "Maybe we--."

"Hey, look, a mic!" Hagakure exclaimed putting a mic in Jiro's face.

"We just laid our souls bare for them and they're ignoring us?" Mineta asked as he was crouched down with Kirishima. "Can Jiro really be that good? Ugh. I mean come on!"

"Don't be shy, show us those pipes!" Kirishima encouraged. "We wanna hear ya sing somethin'!"

Jiro held on to the mic, she breathed in deeply, closed her eyes, and started to sing. Everyone was blown away by her beautiful voice. "You know everyone wants to sparkle. Like the stars in the night sky. In the wondrous place filled with all the dreams. I've been waiting for the chance. " Jiro opened her eyes, then looked at her classmates.

"My ears are so happy!" Urakaka cheered.

"Amazing!" Eva cheered.

"You have such a sultry voice!" Ashido cheered. Kirishima, Aoyama, and Mineta all lay on the ground in defeat.

"I told you!" Hagakure exclaimed.

"All right! I'd call this a unanimous decision!" Iida cheered.

"Well. Let's set that aside, then," Jiro blushed. "Now. We need guitars! I'm thinking two!"

"Oh, yeah!" Kaminari cheered. "Pick me! It's so cool to play instruments!"

"Let me strum!" Mineta pleaded.

"I'd just break the strings," Kirishima groaned.

"My hands aren't exactly up to speed at the moment," Eva groaned as she looked at her hands with her eyes closed. "I do enjoy playing instruments." Katsuki patted her head.

"Don't you dare volunteer unless you're gonna kill it, dimwit," Katsuki ordered.

"Yeah! I totally will!" Kaminari assured. He then strummed a few cords. "The guitar is the star of every rock band!"

They looked over Mineta, he was in tears as he was having trouble reaching the cords. He gave up, putting the instrument down, and running away from it. "My fingers won't reach because of my character design!"

"I want to be on the dance crew!" Sato said.

"Me, too!" Ojro exclaimed. "I can move pretty well with my tail."

"And I can use my tape to help with the special effects," Sero said. "Eva, you should definitely join the special effects team, with your wind!"

"No way!" Ashido argued. "She'll look way cuter on stage!" They all got cut off by Tokoyami playing the guitar with skill, there was a sunset behind him.

"It's like that riff is speaking directly to my heart," Kirishima teared up.

"You can play?" Shoji asked. "Why didn't you say anything?"

"I put down the axe when I was bested by the F chord," Tokoyami answered. He looked over at the small sad boy. "Mineta, if you can't play for yourself, then I'll strum for you, as well."

"Do whatever you want, damn it," Mineta sulked. "This is so stupid. Let's get this festival over with. I hope all your nails break off."

"Mineta!" Ashido greeted. "Will you be part of the dance team if I can get a harem together?"

"The school festival can't come soon enough!" Mineta changed moods with tears rolling down his face. Planning went on till one in the morning.

"That's it!" Iida exclaimed. "Everybody's role in the festival has been decided! We've got the band team. "It consisted of Kaminari, Tokoyami, Yaoyorozu, Katsuki and Jiro. "And the effects team." Which consisted of Eva, Koda, Kirishima, Sero, and Todoroki. "And the dance team." Which also consisted of Eva, along with Ashido, Aoyama, Iida, Urakaka, Sato, Ojiro, Mirdoroiya, Shoji, Mineta, Iida, Tsu, Hagakure, and Aoyama. "Rest up, guys! Starting tomorrow, we're hard at work!"

"Yeah!" Everyone responded. Once Eva got to her room, she laid on her bed. There was an argument between Sero and Ashido, which landed Eva on the effects and dance team. The school festival was a month away, and everything was getting serious. But with that being said, the whole school seemed to be in a great mood.

***

On an early morning, Eva was at the school library when someone tapped her shoulder, she looked over to see Monoma and a couple of other Class 1-b.

"May we take this outside?" Awase asked.

"Uh, sure," Eva said as she looked at her items. She returned the book and then stepped out to talk to Class 1-B.

"It really is pitiful for us to crawl to you, but we need to do so in order to outshine you, Class, A spotlight hogs," Monoma began as he started up his mood. "We know your class A is doing a performance, which is why we are working ten times harder to blow everyone away with our performance! And then your class will become a--" He stopped when Awase stopped him with a bat.

"We wondering if you could describe dragons for us," Tetsutesu blurted out. "If anyone here would know about them, it would be you."

"They are just as you've read in a book," Eva answered. "Do you want a word description or  a picture?"

"So you have encountered a dragon before?" Komori asked.

"Sure, plenty of times," Eva answered. "But what is this about?"

"We are putting together a skit," Awase answered. "It's going to be a combination of comics, and books we read. Pretty fairytale-like starting Romeo and Juliet." Eva lit up with joy, Awase noticed right away and grabbed her shoulders. "Does this mean you will help us, even if it means your class might lose?"

"It's just, most of the time, fairies are in these stories," Eva answered as she blushed slightly, looking at the ground. "And you guys are coming to me about something that is magical in a way. Some of those stories are tall tales for you, but for me it's word from my elders and their elders back home--"

"We are honored to make you feel less homesick," Shiozaki said as she took Eva's hands. "It would be shameful to ignore it."

"With that being said, you have better knowledge about certain clothing," Monoma said as he regained consciousness.

Eva looked at the people around her. "Though I do have one request?"

"Well, spill it out," Tetsutetsu said as he held out his hand. "Whatever you need, Class B can be your heroes!" He gave a fist of confirmation.

"Uh, could you possibly record it?" Eva asked. "Just in case I'm not able to make it to the show, and I know this little girl who would just love it."

"Your wish is our command!" Awase agreed quickly. "So about that dragon and the clothes?"

"Give me a pencil and paper," Eva said. "It will be better with visuals." She looked at them. "There are many different types of dragons, is there any in particular?"

"One you are most familiar with," said Awase, Eva nodded and began to draw.

"Do you have a name for this dragon?" Shiozaki asked.

"Master Astro," Eva answered.

"YOU HAVE A DRAGON FOR A MASTER!?" Tetsutetsu exploded. "THAT IS SO MANLY!"

Eva laughed lightly. "Dragons can live up to 1,200 human years...Master Astro is about...800 years old."

"800?" they all asked in bewilderment.

"He's pretty young," Eva said. "Human years I am 16...fae years, I'm reaching 80. I can live up to 2,000 human years." All of them became even more bewildered. As those members of class 1-b asked questions,  Eva continued to draw Master Astro along with some clothes for them to put together or order.

On another day, Eva was leaving Recovery Girl's office. Her nerves were still pretty bad, but they were getting better.

"There you are, Yuki!" a voice cheered, Eva looked up to see third-year Nejire Hado running up to her. "You always land on the ground so elegantly! Can you teach me? Pretty please!?" Hado grabbed onto Eva's hands.

"What is it for?" Eva asked.

"The Beauty Pageant of course!" Hado answered as she jumped up and down. "You always fly so prettily as well as land so prettily! So cute! It's my last year, I want to win it!"

"A beauty pageant," Eva said. "Mr. Aizawa didn't tell us about them...Yes, I can help!"

"You are the best!" Hado cheered as she jumped up and down more.

"Hado," another voice, Eva looked over to see Amajiki walking up to them. "You need to tell someone where you are going before running off."

"Sorry, Amajiki!" Hado laughed. "I was just trying to find this adorable first year! For a small chat! That is all!"

"Will you be in the pageant as well, Yuki?" Amajiki asked.

"I'm pretty sure I found out too late," Eva answered. "Not really my thing though."

"You should go for it next year!" Hado encouraged as she jumped up and down. "You are just so pretty! Inside and out!" She laughed even more.

"Thank you," Eva blushed. "You are so super pretty."

After classes ended, Eva was able to find some spare time to go train with Shinso. It was normal at night, or right before practice with Class A. They were now in the forest. Shinso was trying to capture her, he had clearly gotten better in a short amount of time.

"Eva," Shinso said as he captured her. "Why did you agree to help?"

"We are sort of alike," Eva answered as she landed on the ground.

"Your Quirk isn't called a villain power," Shinso pointed out.

"That is true," Eva agreed as she began to untangle herself, she was struggling a little Shinso knelt down to help. "But even if I didn't have one, some people would still call me a villain as they do today."

"Because you are not human," Shinso gathered.

"Exactly," Eva breathed as she stopped struggling. "We both want to prove to the world we want to be a hero, not a villain."

"Let's prove them all wrong," Shinso said as he finally freed her.

"You don't use your Quirk on me," Eva said.

"Maybe one day," Shinso smiled. "Are you ready to get back flying!"

"Yes!" Eva responded, suddenly her head went blank, and then she snapped out of it.

"Or now," Shinso laughed, Eva stared at him before laughing as well.
