Chapter 28

The next morning, Eva was in the bathroom with a couple of the girls, they were brushing their teeth.

"Good morning," Hagakure greeted walking in.

"Morning," Yaoyorozu waved.

"Morning," Eva greeted as she waved with a wing.

After they went to eat breakfast with the rest of the class. It was strange at first to be living with their classmates, but they all seemed to have adjusted quickly. Soon they were all sitting in their classroom.

"I believe I mentioned this already, but your main focus this summer is obtaining provisional hero licenses," Aizawa began class.

"Yes, sir!" the other students responded.

"Do not take this lightly," Aizawa ordered. "A hero license means that you're responsible for human lives." He looked over at Eva. "My apologies, you are responsible for lives in general." He turned to the rest of the class. "You can imagine that the exam to receive one is very difficult. Only 50 percent of students pass the tests required for these permits each year."

"It's that hard to get a provisional license?" Mineta asked.

"In order to prepare, today you'll concentrate on creating something new," Aizawa instructed. The door opened in walked Cementoss, Midnight, and Ectoplasm. "Two ultimate moves."

"Ultimate moves?" Kirishima and Kaminari repeated.

"An exam is a normal school thing," Ashido and Kaminari said.

"But this is total hero work!" Kirishima and Sero exclaimed.

"When we say ultimate we mean a move that will ensure your win against your opponent," Ectoplasm explained.

"An action so unique to your identity that no other person can hope to copy it," Cementoss added. "Simply put, you must learn to lean into your strengths."

"Your moves represent who you are," Midnight continued. "These days, more pro heroes have an ultimate move. Those who don't are fools."

"This may sound abstract, but we'll explain more as the day goes on," Aizawa assured. "For now, change into your costumes and meet in Gym Gamma." They did as they were told. "Gym Gamma, also known at the Academy as the Training Dining Land or TDL."

"First the USJ, and now this?" Izuku asked as Cementoss used his quirk to make a little display.

"This facility was my idea," Cementoss said. "We can prepare unique terrains and obstacles for each student here. Here you will learn to serve up justice, hence the name."

"That's pretty cool," Kaminari said as Iida raised his hand.

"Please allow me a question," Iida requested. "What is the advantage of having ultimate moves for our provisional exam? May we know your reasoning?"

"That's two questions," Aizawa pointed out. "Calm down. The job of a hero is to save people from all sorts of dangers. Crime, accidents, and natural or man-made disasters. Of course, the licensing exam analyzes how well you're able to deal with such things. It won't just be fighting. Your ability to gather information and make quick decisions will be judged. In addition to how well you communicate, cooperate, and lead others.  Every year a new test is used to evaluate these qualities."

"One thing is especially important," Midnight said. "If you want to be a pro hero, you must be able to prevail in battle. If you're prepared, you don't have to worry. And those of you with an ultimate move will have stronger results."

"Your circumstances should dictate the results of your future battles," Cementoss said. Learn to be consistent and you will be a great asset on the front lines." He went to go make the terrain.

"Your ultimate move doesn't necessarily have to be an attack," Ectoplasm said. "Take Iida's Recirpoburst, for example." Iida gasped. "This sort of temporary boost in speed is valuable enough that it falls into the category of excellence we're looking for."

"You mean I've been doing an ultimate move all along?" Iida gasped.

"So, it's basically our secret weapon," Sato said as he looked at Iida. "Something that gives us the edge so we can win no matter who or what we're facing."

"There's a smart boy," Midnight winked. "For example, how Kamui Woods is able to use his Lacquered Chain Prison to capture opponents in an instant. That's exactly what we want to see."

"The training camp was interrupted," Aizawa said. "But the practice you did get in to develop your Quirks was part of the process needed to create these defining abilities. Now that you're caught up---you'll be working hard to develop powerful moves of your own for the next ten days or so. This is how you will spend the remainder of your summer vacation. " They saw Ectoplasm make clones for them to work with. "Prepare for intensive training. In addition, you should think about how you can improve your costumes, especially now that you have a better understanding of your Quirks. I expect each of you to go, Plus Ultra. Do you have it in you?"

"Yes, sir!" they all responded.

"I am so charged for this," Kaminari smirked. All of them went to certain spots, to begin their training, Eva was all the way at the top.

"You are relying on your quirk to get close to hand-to-hand combat," Ectoplasm stated after kicking her down. "Focus on using it for an attack."

"Right," Eva responded.

"You are able to produce a wind scythe, right?" Ectoplasm asked.

"Yes, sir," Eva nodded. "Snow Bug helped me be able to produce a wind slice from the edge of my wings."

"It seems you have much more to learn about your quirk," Ectoplasm said as Eva got up. "You are able to manipulate wind in numerous forms, when blasting your wind out of your wings, try doing it in a more narrow form. I am a clone, so do not be afraid to hit me." Eva nodded, and she then got back to her training.

"Now you explode!" Katsuki shouted they all looked over at him. "It's been a while since I was able to really let loose. Ectoplasm! I killed 'em! Gimme another one."

"Wow," Eva breathed as Bakugo landed another attack up close.

"Bakugo's going hardcore," Urakaka said as she floated upside down.

"I bet he's got a ton of ideas for his special moves already," Sato said as he ate sweets.

"He's been planning this stuff since the entrance exam!" Hagakure exclaimed.

"Before that!" Eva exclaimed with a smile.

"Focus!" Ectoplasm scolded Urakaka.

"Yes, sir!" Urakaka responded.

"Just in case anyone was wondering, I've been working on Grape Rush since I was a kid," Mineta informed.

"I mean we all thought of it before right?" Kaminari asked. "I used to imagine wielding a lightning sword! I'm getting hyped up just thinking about doing something that cool in real life." They all went back to their training, Eva was focusing on making her air come out narrow.

"Young Yuki!" a voice soon called out, they looked over to see All Might.

"All Might," Eva greeted. "Shouldn't you be resting?"

"Not a chance I can miss this," All Might said.

"I am having Yuki using her wind in different forms," Ectoplasm said. "They are just blasts and scythes."

"That's brilliant," All Might admitted. "That way when fighting, she can hit just one person instead of all the ones in her path."

"Yes," Ectoplasm nodded. "She needs to shape the wind to be smaller."

"I think I get it now," Eva as she looked her at wings. "It's sort of like that tube thing at the bottom thing of a rainbow."

"Sort of," All Might and Ectoplas said. Truthfully, they had no idea what she meant.. Eva looked back forward. "Give it a try." He then went to the next student.

"Give it your all!" Ectoplasm encouraged. Eva started to activate quirk through one wing, it came off as a wind blast beam. It sort of took Eva by surprise, making her fall over, her wind shot right through the window breaking it.

"Please keep property damage to a minimum!" Aizawa instructed.

"Sorry, sir!" Eva apologized as she quickly got back to her to continue with her training.

"Regarding your costume improvements. Once you've figured out if anything needs to change, head to the development studio here," Aizawa instructed. "Get experts to help you out and give suggestions. They'll know what to do."

Soon, she was going to the development studio with Izuku about changes to their costume.

"I get it," Izuku said. "You are trying to make the wind more direct."

"Yeah, Ectoplasm is having me focus on having it come out one at a time. I was unprepared the first time, I ended up losing balance." Eva explained. "You seem to be having trouble."

"Hm," Izuku breathed as he looked forward. "I really need to come up with a way where it doesn't constantly keep breaking me. So I'm hoping for some arm support for my costume. And you?"

"It deals with that carrier Yaoyorozu made," Eva answered. "I can carry a few people at a time, and having that carrier made it way easier and more efficient."

"Have you considered adding a staff?" asked Izuku. "I know it will make you look like a stereotypical fae, but I think it would be useful for you." Eva tilted her head. "When it comes to fighting, you have a lot of agility, treating the air like something you can step on. Not to mention you can walk on water."

"People don't need to know that about me," said Eva, waving her hands. They stopped in front of the door.

"Oh! Hey there, Deku! Yuki!" Urakaka called out. They looked to see that she was with Iida.

"Oh, hey," Eva smiled as she looked over at the two. She flew over as Urakaka started running towards Izuku.

"I was just wondering where you were!" Urakaka smiled.

"Don't run in the halls!" Iida scolded as he held out his hand. "Don't fly so fast either!"

"You both here for costume improvements, too?" Urakaka asked.

"Oh, Urakaka," Izuku greeted as he looked over. The door blew open at the same time. The other three all gasped at what they had just seen.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow, owie owie, ow," Hatsume rambled.

"Ya know, you shouldn't try to mix everything in the lab together like that," Power Loader scolded.

"Failure is the mother of invention, Mr. Power Loader," Hatsume laughed. "Thomas Edison said something like that once." She coughed a bit. "Even if something I make doesn't work like I've envisioned it, that doesn't mean it's a waste of time."

"You almost blew up the entire design studio!" Power Loader shouted. "Will you please open your ears and listen to me for once? Hatsume!" The smoke started to clear more, Hatsume was on top of Izuku, it was making Urakaka squeal.

"Hey," Hatusme greeted. "When did you get here?" Izuku opened his eyes, he looked down and saw Hatsume's chest. He freaked out, looking away immediately. They both got back to their feet. "Oh, sorry for the sudden explosion. It's been a while, huh? Class 1A, right? Uh...Yeah, I forgot all your names already."

"Uh, Izuku Midoriya," Izuku asked as he looked away. His face was still extremely red. "H--"

"I'm Tenya Iida!" Iida greeted as he chopped at the air. "The man you tricked into being a walking advertisement during the sports festival."

"Never heard of ya," Hatsume said bluntly as she looked at him. Then she made her way into the lab. The other four went into shock. "Well, I'm busy developing new babies, so bye!"

"Wait, a second, please!" Izuku requested as he took a few steps forward. "I wanted to ask Mr. Power Loader about improving some elements of my costume."

"Wha...Wha...What?" Hatsume asked as she looked back three times. She then got in Izuku's face. "You can count me in!"

"Hatsume!" Power Loader shouted. "It's fine for you to be in and out of the studio all day since you're in the dorms. But if you stop following my instructions and keep running wild in here...you're banned."

"Hello," Eva greeted as Hatsume looked a bit annoyed.

"I heard from Eraserhead that you're here to upgrade those costumes for your new moves, yes? Come in," Power Loader said. They all made their way into the room.

"Ooh! This looks like a top-secret lab!" Izuku said as they looked at the place.

"What are you looking for Yuki?" Power Loader asked as he sat at the computer. " I'm not sure what can help since your quirk comes from your wings."

"Rescue equipment in a way," Eva answered. "I'm able to carry a lot of people, I'm looking for it to be more efficient."

"Try out my baby!" Hatsume squealed as she showed Eva an arrow.

"How will this work for rescue?" Eva asked as she looked at it.

"Like this!" Hatsume answered as she clicked a button on a remote she had. The pointer came off, outshot rope, and at the end, a hand was opening it, grabbed onto Izuku's face, pulling him right at Eva and making them collide. "I have suction-cupped that hand, whoever it grabs will not be able to escape!" Izuku was shouting into the hand as Iida and Urakaka looked horrified. Eva was pulling on it, as Izuku pulled back. "They only are free until you want them to be." Hatsume laughed as she clicked another button. It released Izuku, and he went flying back into the wall, as Eva went back into Iida.

"Yuki!" yelped Iida holding her up.

"Sorry," Eva apologized, as she shook her head.

"Now. Hand over your instructions please," Power Loader requested as he looked back from the computer. "They should've been with the case your costume was delivered in. "I have a license to make costumes, so I'm allowed to do some mild tinkering with those that were made out-of-house. For small changes and repairs, I can simply report what I altered to the design company. They'll do the paperwork for me." Hatsume began to read through the instructions with joy. " But for major changes, we'll have to fill out an application and ask the design professionals to make the adjustments for us. After that's completed, the government will make sure the new costume meets certain standards. For example, the rescue equipment is minor something I can do, but if Yuki wants to make her costume silver and iron proof. Then that would have to go to the design company, along with heavy research.  When approved, it'll be sent back here. And we work with the best design agencies available. So there's usually just a three-day turnaround, perhaps a bit longer for Yuki."

Eva blinked. 'Iron and silver proof? I didn't even know they made things like that. It must be so costly. But if they have to do research...it'd cost even more.'

"Uh...well, I was wondering if there was a way I could reduce the strain on the ligaments in my arms," Izuku wondered. "Is that hard? Or possible?"

"Hm, let's see, Midoriya," Power Loader stated, he looked back at the computer. "You mainly fight with your fists and your fingers. In that case, I should be able to do something pretty fast."

"Deku, that's awesome!" Urakaka cheered as she punched the air.

"Yeah!" Izuku nodded. He froze, he slowly looked back to Hastume feeling his upper body and arms.

"Yes, yes, I see the problem," Hatsume said as Izuku freaked out.

"H-Hatsume. What are you doing to him?" Urakaka asked she the top her face turned blue.

"I'm feeling out his muscles," Hatsume answered.

"That's straightforward," Eva said as she tilted her head.

"Oh, my your body's much more muscle-y than it looks," Hatsume said. Izuku shrieked even more. "Don't you even worry. I've got just want you to need." Suddenly, Izuku was in a full armored body suit. "My very special baby. The power suit!"

"Okay," Izuku breathed.

"This high-teach darling can read muscle contractions and support your movements," Hatsume explained. "Meet my baby number 49!"

"Um. But I really just need support for my arms," Izuku said as he looked at her.

"Program start!" Hatsume shouted.

"Holy whoa," Izuku breathed as the suit started to turn. "This thing is amazing!" It started to turn more. "Wait. No. I take it back.  My spine! It's twisting me in half!"

"Are you okay?" Urakaka asked as Izuku cried.

"End program," Hatsume said as she clicked a button. "Looks like I made a mistake or two in the limit calculations. That's my bad."

"Oh, my gosh, are you hurt?" Urakaka asked once Izuku was out of the suit.

"I came in asking for some kind of arm brace, and instead my body almost got pretzeled," Izuku groaned.

"Now that I think about it, I could use this suit as a captured item," Hatsume said, she looked at Eva. "I have something for you!"

"I want to rescue not break their spines," Eva said as she put her hands up, backing up.

"With a few fixes, it'll work fine!" Hatsume laughed as she got closer. "Let me feel you up!" Eva hit a wall Hatsume began to feel Eva around. "I see." Izuku shrieked as he looked away, Eva's face was glowing red.

"Sir, I was wondering if you could improve the cooling devices in my legs," Iida whispered.

"If that's what you're in the market for," Hatsume said as she suddenly appeared behind Iida. Suddenly, he had arm equipment on. "Try this baby on!

"How--?" Iida asked as the others stepped to the side.

"It's an electric booster for radiators that cool anything that gives off heat!" Hatsume explained. "Sweet baby number 36.

"Hatsume, there's nothing wrong with my boosters!" Iida exclaimed. "And why my arms?"

"Booster. Go," Hatsume instructed as she hit a button.

"Hey!" Iida shouted as he was shot into the air, hitting the ceiling.

"Iida!" Izuku, Urakaka, and Eva shouted. Iida was put back on the ground.

"My Quirk is in my legs, you madwoman," Iida said as he was on all fours.

"Yeah, I know," Hatsume laughed. "But you don't understand. Come on, it's so brilliant. If you're wanting to cool down your legs, then why don't you just run with your arms instead!"

"Stop messing around!" Power Loader shouted at her.

"What in the world are you talking about?!" Iida asked.

"I'm really going to banish you, ya know!" Power Loader said,

"Violent!" Hatsune grunted. She then went to her station to work on more.

"Sorry, guys," Power Loader apologized. "I'm trying to get her to look past her own devices."

"I'm not sure that'll ever happen," Iida gloomed with Urakaka and Eva.

"Same," Urakaka nodded.

"But you know. If you all are aspiring to be heroes, then you should treasure your relationship with her," Power Loader advised. "You'll need her once you've been made pros. Look in the corner." They looked over to see a pile of inventions. "That pile of junk? Those are all support items Hatsume's made since starting school here. She's always inventing, even when school's not in session. I've seen many support course students in my career, but I tell you, this girl is something special."

"She made all of this in such a short time?" Izuku asked. "That's nuts."

"Impressive," Eva breathed. They looked over as Hatsume giggled.

"Common sense is a collection of prejudices acquired by age 18," Power Loader quoted. "That's something Einstien said. That girl is unafraid of failure. Constantly thinking of new ideas and trying them out. Innovators are people who don't feel chained down by existing concepts."

"Iida!" Izuku exclaimed. "Please, there's so much I want you to teach me!" Izuku was now backing Iida up into a wall.

"Uh, wait what are you walking about?" Iida asked. "You want my help with your training? We haven't made any progress on our costumes yet."

"Oh! That's right!" Izuku recalled.

"Whoa! Your face totally lit up just now!" Urakaka pointed out.

"I was just realizing something," Izuku answered. "Oh, I never asked, are you changing part of your costume?"

"A little," Urakaka answered. "I don't wanna feel sick anymore."

"Oh, you don't say," Hatsume said as she appeared behind Uravity. "In that case, you've gotta try this out!" She held up a barrel, with a rope sticking out from the top.

"Why do I feel like it's about to explode?" Urakaka asked. The four of them back up to the door in fear.

"Just handle this baby with care," Hatsume giggled. "Or..." Smoke came out in four different directions.

"What is that? Smoke?" Urakaka asked.

"You'll kill us!" Izuku and Iida exclaimed. It exploded just as Urakaka predicted.

"Work in progress," Hatsume laughed as she looked at the four on the ground. After Eva hung back a bit, she wanted to ask Power Loader a question.

"Sir," began Eva. "Would it be alright if I added equipment to my suit?"

"What are you thinking of?" asked Power Loader looking at her. "Support for your wings?"

"A staff," answered Eva. "Izuku mentioned it, so I am considering."

Power loader turned back to the screen. "Get me a design by tomorrow and I should have it together by the exams."

Eva bowed. "Much appreaciated."

When training came to an end for the day, everyone was slowly making their way back to the dorms.

"What should we make for dinner today?" asked Ashido holding her stomach.

"How about some soba?" asked Shoto. "Cold soba."

"Beef stew will give back some of our energy," said Iida pushing up his glasses.

"Something with rice for sure," said Urakaka giving in her opinion. Izuku looked back to see Eva trailing behind everyone, he let everyone pass him.

"What are you hungry for Eva?" asked Izuku as he started to walk today, she looked at him. "What sounds good to you?"

"Oh, I won't be here for dinner," said Eva tilting her head. "I am stepping into the Otherworld for the rest of the day."

Izuku looked forward. "Sorry, I forgot you were requested to be there more."

Eva shook her head. "You do not need to apologize; it is my fault for being neglectful." She looked forward. "What are you hungry for today?'

"Anything sounds good," said Izuku with a smile. "I will save some for you."

"No, thank you," denied Eva. "It sounds like our classmates really desire meat today." Izuku looked at her. "How was your training today?" Izuku quickly dropped the food subject and rambled out his thoughts. A bit later, Eva was in her room in her fae clothes. Pink flower petals are used as a tank top, crop top, and pink petals as a skirt. She was currently staring into the mirror, fixing a pink flower in her bun.

"Eva?" asked Katsuki knocking on the door. "Deku said---"

"Come in," said Eva; the door swung open and closed instantly. She looked over to see Katsuki leaning against the wall.

"How long are you going to be gone for?" asked Bakugo going over to her bed.

"Just for the rest of the night," answered Eva looking back at the mirror. "It will be like this every three days and every other weekend after school is over, that was the agreement," Katsuki grunted signaling he was not happy about it. "It was that or never be allowed here again." Katsuki grunted more. "What did they decide on for dinner?"

"Beef stew," answered Katsuki lying on her bed. "You will let me know when you get back."

"It may be past your bedtime," said Eva looking over at him. "You will be okay with me waking you up?"

"I'll sleep better once I know you are home and safe," said Katsuki; his eyes darted over to the tapestry. Eva smiled a bit, then looked back at the mirror. "You look beautiful, so stop being annoying by fussing like an idiot in front of the mirror."

"Thank you," said Eva; she grabbed fae shoes from the closet. "I will see you in a bit, Katsuki." He sat up when she stepped onto the bed. Eva stepped off and then hugged him. Then he watched her place her hand on the tapestry, the picture became alive; the leaves from the trees bounced into the room; the air felt so pure. He watched Eva place a foot through the tapestry, then go right through it all together; the tapestry returned to what it normally appeared...just a picture. Katsuki stayed there for a few seconds taking in what he witnessed, he had seen her do magic so many times, but it always felt like the first time. He went back down to the others.

"So, is Yuki coming down?" asked Yaoyorozu. "I do not want her to miss dinner."

"Eva said to go on without her," said Katsuki. "Don't bother making a separate bowl with vegetable broth and no meat."

**

Upon arriving to the fae world, Eva had to go immeditaly to Circe's Island, there she was learning a potion that will induce nightmares.

"Evalina," said Circe crushing up a herb. "You are distant today."

"Apologies," said Eva coping her. "I have distracted by aspects of the human life." Circe raised her eyebrows. "The hero license exam is coming up, and I am worried I will not pass."

"Heros," huffed Circe, her mood turned. "They are awful creatures."

"Not all," disagreed Eva. "There are a few diamonds." Circe put the items in the bowl.

"Heroes are villains in disgusie," said Circe. "I'd know from my eons of living." Eva just let out a soft sigh. "When thry are sick of you, or see you as a threat. They will kill you Evalina." Not with Katsuki around.

Eva got back to her dorm room around midnight; she stepped through the tapestry, she saw that Katsuki was fast asleep on the bed with a blanket over his waist.

"Katsuki?" asked Eva kneeling beside him. "Have you been here the entire time?" His eyes opened a little; once he saw it was Eva, he closed them again, going back to sleep with a snore. Eva went into the bathroom; changing into pajamas; before going to bed as well. When she put her back to Katsuki, he hooked his leg with hers.

*****

The next day after training, Eva was at the door putting on her shoes.

"Katsuki," Eva said as she saw him pass. "Can you go to the store with me?"

"It's late," Katsuki grunted. "Why are you going to the store at this time?"

"I'm heading to the drugstore," Eva answered. "Mr. Power Loader said something that got me thinking. So are you coming? The store is still open for another three hours; it'll be quick."

"I'm not going in," Katsuki grunted in agreement. "But I'm not letting you go alone." Once they were both outside, Eva grabbed Katsuki and took off to the store.

"Give me five minutes," Eva said once they landed. She dashed inside and grabbed what she needed, which were:

A few syringes

Test tubes

Safety gear

Measuring spoons

Crucible Tongs

Pear juice

She stepped outside to see Katsuki kicking a rock around.

"What did you need?" Katsuki asked. "What did Power Loader say to you?"

"He said something about making suit iron and silver proof," Eva answered. "But to do that, loads of research are going to go into it. I'm going to get a head start. How are your moves coming along?"

"I got a couple more up my sleeve I wanna try," Katsuki smirked as Eva picked him up as they prepared to fly. As Eva flew them back to the dorms, Katsuki told her all about the moves he was working on.

"There you two are!" Iida said as they stepped through the doors. "Where have you been? You have to tell people when you are leaving!" He was chopping at the air.

"None of your damn business," Katsuki grunted as he walked past. Secretly, he liked it that Iida was on Eva's butt like this. He had no idea why Iida stressed about Eva the way he did, but he was not going to complain.

"Quick trip to the store," Eva answered. "Didn't think we'd be gone for that long."

"Next time, tell someone," Iida said. "Dinner is going to be ready soon! It will give us our strength back after training!"

"Oh, do you need help in the kitchen?" Eva asked. "I can help."

"No need," Iida shook his head with a smile. "We made a schedule on who will help with dinner, it's not your night. Just make sure to be down in two hours."

"Right," Eva nodded as she stepped back outside. "See you in two hours. I'm heading to the other dorms." She then flew over to where the business courses were located.

"Two hours!" Iida shouted as he stuck his head out of the door.

Eva knocked on the door, and it opened, revealing the other students.

"What can we do for you, Yuki?" a girl asked. Her black hair was pulled back in buns, with blue streaks, and dark brown eyes.

"Do you by chance have fairy wing dust left over?" Eva asked. "I will pay you, Genesis."

"Not yours, in particular, that was popular," Genesis said as she let Eva inside, some of the students looked over, waved then returned to their conversations. "But I do have options: Red, green, blue, orange, pink."

"Pink is good," Eva answered. "And how much?"

"For you, five bucks," Genesis answered.

"Are you sure?" Eva asked. "You are underpricing, they tend to go for 200 on the Black market."

Gensis furrowed her eyebrows. "How do you know about they go for on the black maret?"

"Because I cost a million on the black market" answered Eva. "So, the fae dust?"

"It feels strange selling fairies their skin to them," Genesis answered. "If you were human, I would charge higher...but that isn't the case."

"Thank you," Eva smiled. After making the exchange, Eva went over to Class B's dorms.

"A person from Class A?" Monoma began to go on his tangent. "This just proves how much better Class B is than Class A! You should be ashamed of coming to us!"

"Is Awase around or not?" Eva asked as she crossed her arms.

"Why should we let someone from our Class help you?" Monoma asked. "Class A really have fallen if you had turned to us for help."

"We don't have a lot of silver and iron lying around the dorms due to me," Eva began. "I'm doing research to make alterations to my suit. I want to make it so the silver bounces off of me just as Steel does for Superman. I'd be able to protect people better."

"Your anatomy is just built differently," Kendo said, walking over to the door. "Those villains must've done intense research." She looked between the two. " He's not bothering you, is he?"

"Not at all," Eva denied as she put her hands up.

"In that case, you need Awase and Kaibara," Monoma said.

"So, now you want to help?" Eva asked as she was allowed inside.

"Your weakness came because of your anatomy not a lack of skill or striving to be a hero," Monoma answered. Eva ended up staying there for a half-hour, she caught up with the friends she had in that class while waiting for her request. Kaibara was grinding up some silver and iron, he put it into tight locked containers. After a giant thanks, Eva went back to her dorm, and into her room. She put in her earbuds and went to work. Inside, she set up a sort of lab table; with all the variants she needed for her experiment. She was now in the bathroom with her pants leg rolled up, had a band around it tightly, and she was locating a vein.

"Eva?" Katsuki asked knocking on the door with a small plate of food in his hand. "You missed dinner again, that four-eye loser is demanding you come down before the food gets cold." There wasn't a response. "Eva?" He knocked even more. "I know you are tired, but you need fuel. I have tofu for you." After a few seconds, Katsuki barged into the room, he didn't see Eva right away. He saw a little lab set up on the floor, he turned his head to the side. He saw Eva in the bathroom, she was using the equipment, extracting her blood into a vial. He then knocked harshly on the bathroom door, this time she looked up.

"Katsuki," Eva breathed in surprise as she took out her earbuds. "What are you doing here?"

"What the hell are you doing?"Katsuki demanded. "You know the damn fairy laws." He closed the door behind him as he entered the room.

"It's for my costume," Eva shook her head as she looked down to put on the bandaid. "I want silver and iron to bounce off the costume like how metal bounces off Superman."

"Why are you doing all this?" Katsuki asked as he placed the food on her desk.

"So I won't have to be so weak," Eva answered as she went over to where she had the lab set up. She uncapped the tube and then squeezed some blood into numerous different vials. "I'll have an Achilles spot of course, but it's better than being open altogether." She put on goggles and safety gloves.

"Eva," Katsuki breathed as he looked over. "Don't you need human blood for this?"

"I wasn't sure how to ask," Eva said as she picked up the tongs. "Even asking Izuku would have been strange." She picked up the tongs, she went over to where she had some iron pieces placed. "So I took some notes on human biology last night." She put a small piece of iron in a vial, the moment the iron touched, the blood turned to dust. Eva immediately jotted down the results.

"You are going to need human blood," Katsuki frowned at what he witnessed. "Use mine."

"No way," Eva denied. "I'm not treating your blood as test subjects." She used the tongs to pick up a piece of silver, she put in another vial, and it started to steam.

"You are doing so whether you like it or not dammit!" Katuski raged as he grabbed a test tube. "How do you do this?"

"Sit," Eva said. "I'll do it." She took off her gloves, then put on surgical ones, grabbed a wipe, and a bandaid.

"You aren't weak," Katsuki said as Eva began to extract his blood. "Don't ever say that bullshit again."

"But--" Eva began as she finished.

"You aren't weak," Katsuki said. "They knew going into a fight with you would destroy them, so they went low, knowing what to hit you with." Eva put his blood in a few vials and then capped the test tube. "I've been meaning to ask...would you have joined they asked. That league of losers?" Katsuki put on the bandaid.

"If they approached me in the past, possible," Eva admitted. "With them, I could have broken as many laws as I wanted, and only worried about being banished if caught. Luckily, you and Izuku got to me first." She disposed of the gloves and then put on the safety gloves. "Thank you."

Katsuki started to help Eva with what she was doing, but he ended up falling asleep in the hammock as Eva continued to work. Days passed during the day they would train, and around night Eva be in the fae world or would work on her experiment, she kept skipping dinner for it. Katsuki would bring her food and keep her company.

One day, while going to the development course, Izuku approached her.

"I need your help!" Izuku exclaimed.

"I'm not sure what you need my help for," Eva answered.

"Landing," Izuku answered as he touched the back of his head. "As weird as it may sound. I need you to teach me how to land on my feet better. I know you've always flown us to school, I didn't pay attention much back then."

"Well, when landing you always need to make sure what you landing on is sturdy," Eva answered. "Birds don't land on branches they know will break. When landing on the ground, you need to have a clear sight of where you want to land, feet first of course."

"Can you help me?" Izuku asked as he moved his arms up and down.

"Sure," Eva nodded. "We can do this at Ground Beta, we just need to ask."

"You still need help with tight maneuvers, right?" Izuku asked. Eva nodded. "We can go to ground Gamma for that."

"If we can't use the grounds, we do have a forest behind us," Eva said. "It will be the perfect combination of both."

"We can just do that," Izuku nodded.

*******

Eva was back in her dorm working on the assignment, she felt herself getting closer. At this point, she was trying to have a good combination of both human and fairy blood.

"Katsuki," Eva breathed. "Why did you want to help with this?" He was in the hammock reading a book, he looked over at her.

"So I can always protect your dumbass," Katsuki grunted before returning to the book. "I'm not always going to be around when we become pros, so this way I know you are going to be safe." He looked over at her again. "Why not just use a suit that's covered in human DNA?"

"You make a good point," Eva answered. "But it feels dirty and wrong."

"Are you able to go invisible?" Katsuki asked.

"No," Eva answered. "Due to the quirk, I don't have that ability, and due to Dad's fondness, he always lets people see him."

"You don't hate having a quirk, do you?" Katsuki asked.

"I love it," Eva assured him. "It makes me a pretty fast fairy, even in the Otherworld."

"Good," Katsuki smiled. A few minutes later, Eva was sitting in the hammock with Katsuki, she was rubbing his hands relieving them of lingering pain, stress, and strengthening them. As Eva did that Katsuki told her about a romance novel he was reading. A lot of people may not know it, but he does enjoy reading mangas, especially romance ones.

Back on another training day, Eva was showing Ectoplasm the special move.

"4 Corner Cannon!" Eva announced wind shot out of four of her wings, in a narrow line, and it struck right through the cement that was placed around her.

"Good," Ectoplasm said.

"Hey! Watch out!" Katsuki yelled, Eva looked over a piece of cement calling towards All Might. Mr. Aizawa gasped as he stepped forward. Suddenly, Izuku was in the air, he was lit up green.

"Smash!" Izuku shouted as he broke the cement apart with his foot. Everyone was surprised, he wasn't hurt at all, they watched Izuku land, sliding a bit.

"You did it, kid," All Might smiled.

"You okay, All Might?" Izuku asked. "That was close."

"Yeah!" All Might smiled.

"Dude, Midoriya, what was that?" Kaminari asked. "You swooped in and wasted that rock."

"I always thought you were more of a puncher," Kirishima added.

"I am, or I was," Izuku answered. "It's new soles." He showed him one of his shoes. "Hatsume suggested them and I think they'll really up my game. Plus, Iida's been showing me how to use my body better, so my fighting style has changed. And Eva's been helping me learn how to land better. I've only just figured out what direction to go in. I still have a lot to work to do. Nothing I'd call an ultimate move yet."

"I dunno," All Might said. "Based on that kick, I'd say you're further along than you think. So, you should be ready for this test."

"Hey, All Might," Aizawa said as he walked up. "It's dangerous in here, you should be careful."

"Yeah, I know," All Might said, they looked up at Bakugo. "Sorry for the scare, Young Bakugo."

Katsuki grunted angrily, then went back to working on his moves. "You watch yourself, All Might!"

"You guys made improvements to your costumes, too?" Izuku asked Kaminari and Kirishima.

"Yeah!" Kaminari gave a thumbs up. "I see you've noticed we looked pretty awesome."

"You're not the only one here with a brand-new style," Kirishima added. "We've all been making changes here and there. Now's the time to upgrade, right?"

"Just wait," Kaminari smiled. "My new special gear is gonna blow your mind." He showed his arm. "It's a serious power booster. Wanna see? C'mon. It's totally amazing!"

"That's enough, Class A," Vlad King ordered. They looked over to see the other class. "Class B is scheduled to use this training room every afternoon."

"Class B?" Eva asked as she flew down.

"Man. Crap timing," Kaminari groaned.

"Eraser, get your kids out of our way," Vlad King ordered.

"You're not trying to kick us out early when we have ten whole minutes left, are you?" Aizawa asked.

"Hey, did ya hear?" Monoma asked as he began to go into his tangent. "The license exam has a 50 percent pass rate. That means your entire class might fail."

"Wait," Kamianri said as Monoma started to laugh. "Is that Monoma's hero costume?"

"Well, since his Quirk is Copy, he said he didn't need anything too eccentric," Kendo answered. "Just that."

"This is him toned down?" Kaminari asked.

"Unfortunately, his observations are correct," Tokoyami said after removing Dark Shadow. "If we're taking the same exam, then we'll crush each other. That's the hand that fate has dealt us."

"And why we won't be in the same location," Aizawa revealed. "Our classes applied to different spots."

"Ha!" Monoma sweated.

"There are two exam days," Vlad King informed. "In June and in September. And the tests are held in three different places. We don't want students from the same place fighting. We split you up. Each school has at most one class at a single location."

"How sad we won't be able to face each other directly," Monoma groaned.

"Man. This guy's nuts," Kirishima groaned.

"Yeah, I think he's officially gone off the deep end," Kaminari agreed.

"All those other schools," Sero said. "Huh. Interesting. I didn't know that was the case. So we'll be facing kids from other places."

"Yeah," Eva nodded. "And on top of that, we're taking the test earlier than most other students."

"That's true," Aizawa confirmed. "Very few first years in the country try for a provisional license. In other words, the test will be made up of students who've trained longer than you, and with Quirks you don't know about. Ones that are powerful. The actual content of the exam is a mystery, but you can expect that you're going to have a rough time. Try not to get hung up about that, but keep it in mind."

"Yes, sir!" the students responded. After their training ended, Eva went and did more training with Izuku, a bit back in the forest, up in a tree, not too high off the ground.

"You slid when you landed," Eva noted. "It needs to be a single land, which means no sliding and no small hops."

"No sliding," Izuku said. "Why no sliding again?"

"There are going to be cases where you will have to jump back up immediately like a bouncy ball," Eva answered. "Sliding can take that away. You have to make the landing firm." Izuku breathed deeply, he took one step out.

"Hey, Midoriya! Yuki!" Sero shouted running up to them, it scared Izuku making him fall over and out of the tree. "Sorry, man, are you okay!"

"I'm fine," Izuku groaned with his face on the ground. "Did you need something?"

"I need one-on-one training with Yuki, actually," Sero admitted shyly. They both looked over in surprise. "It's as Mr. Aizawa said, we don't know who is going to have what quirks, someone else could fly like Yuki."

"You want to practice capturing something moving in the air," Eva gathered.

"Only if you are up for it," Sero answered. "I know you are not fond of being captured like that, makes you feel like a bug in a spider web."

"I'm in," Eva nodded.

"You are?" Sero asked in surprise.

"I'm helping out a friend, not being turned into dinner," Eva answered.

"Awesome!" Sero cheered.

Night came, and Eva was made by Iida to eat dinner with the rest of them. Soon, mostly everyone else was asleep. The girls were in the common room talking.

"Does it have to be this hard?" Ashido groaned.

"Well, it's not called intensive training for nothing," Hagakure said.

"That's true," Jiro said as she handed Eva an aloe and prickly pear mixed drink. "But it's strange to think there's only a week left before the exam."

"Thank you," Eva smiled at Jiro.

"Yao-Momo, how's your ultimate move coming?" Hagakure asked. She put a hand on her face.

"There's something I really wanna do, but my body just isn't ready yet," Momo answered. "I need time to develop my quirk and improve my general endurance."

"How 'bout you, Tsu?" Hagakure asked.

"I've perfected a move that makes me even more frog-like than before," Tsu answered. "I'm sure even you'd look surprised, Toru."

"What about you, Yuki?" Hagakure asked. "We all know you've trained hard outside of training."

"My ultimate moves are going well," Eva answered. "Though I am working on making a fabric that makes my suit silver and iron-proof. Then I won't have to worry about those metals being my kryptonite to the rest of my body."

"You could've just come to me," Momo said as she grabbed Eva's hand. "I know I spoke about the economy, but this is rare and different."

"I don't know the material yet; still have a lot of trials," Eva answered. "Katsuki has been helping me." She tilted her head. "Perhaps it would be best to use material from the fae world." Dragon scales wouldn't hurt, especially since they are scales that got loose on their own.

"What's your story, Ochaco?" Hagakure asked. She remained silent, they looked over to Ochaco, blankly sipping on her drink.

"Hey, Ochaco," Tsu said as he tapped the gravity girl. Urakaka let out a yelp of surprise. "You seem a little tense."

"No, it's nothing," Ochaco assured. "Everything's going awesome. I'm just getting started." Everyone looked at her. "At least, that's how I'd usually be. The thing is, recently my heart's been all stirred up about something."

"It's love!" Ashido exclaimed.

"What did you say?" Urakaka freaked out. "Glove? Shove? Dove? Never seen one before--what's that?"

"It's definitely love," Eva giggled as she put a hand over her mouth.

"So, who is it? Midoriya or Iida?" Ashido asked, getting close to Urakaka. "You're always hanging out with those two boys."

"You've got it all wrong," Urakaka denied as she touched her face, she activated her quirk and started floating. "That's not it, I swear!"

"She's floating," Ashido smiled.

"Which one? Or someone else?" Hagakure asked. "Come on, spill!"

"Yeah, out with it," Jiro urged. "You know we're not gonna give up until we know.

"I swear, it's no one!" Urakaka exclaimed. "Besides, it's not like I know anything about dating.

"It's not good to force an investigation," Tsu said to the others.

"She's right," Yaoyorozu said as she stood up. "More importantly, it's late. We should call it a night."

"Ugh! No! I wanna hear everything!" Ashido urged. "You can't just spring a hint of romance on us and expect me to go to sleep!"

"What romance?" Urakaka asked. She let out a small gasp, and then looked out the window; soon they all headed up for bed.
