Chapter 24

It was soon nighttime, they had all gathered at a certain spot in the forest for the game. They were all wearing some form of nightclothes. Eva had on one of Bakugo's old skull shirts and navy blue jogger sweatpants, that stopped around her knees.

"Perfect," Pixie-Bob purred. "We've filled out bellies and cleaned the dishes. "It's time for..."

"A totally awesome test of courage!" Ashido cheered.

"We're gonna win!" Kirishima, Sero, Kaminari, and Sato cheered.

"Not so fast," Aizawa interrupted them. "It pains me to say it, but the remedial class will be having lessons with me tonight instead."

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Ashido demanded in horror.

"Sorry," Aizawa apologized as he trapped the remedial class in his scarf. "Your training today during the day didn't impress me, so I'll be using this time, too."

"Oh, give me a break!" Kaminari and Sero pleaded.

"I just wanna prove my courage!" Sato and Kirishima pleaded. The Pussycats jumped into the explanation.

"Okay. So. Class B is going to start out as our scarers," Pixie-bob explained. "When they are in place Class A will leave in pairs of two or three every three minutes. There are tags with your names on them at the far end of the route. Your goal is to collect those."

"Revelry in the dark," Tokoyami said.

"Now, those who aren't scarers aren't allowed to make physical contact," Pixie-Bob continued. "Use your quirks to terrify the others! Got it?"

"The winners are the creative students who make the most people piss their pants," Tiger added.

"Did we need that visual?" Jiro asked.

"I see!" Iida breathed as he got a closer look. "They're encouraging us to stoke our imaginations as we compete with each other, all while showing us more uses for our Quirks in the process. As expected of UA!"

"All right!" Pixie-Bob held up little pieces of paper with numbers on them. "Everyone draw to see who your partner or partners will be." Eva was among the first to pick, she got 2.

"What did you get?" Katsuki asked looking over her shoulder, he made a happy grunt. "We get to be partners."

"Really?" Eva asked as she looked at his paper. "Great!"

"I'm starting to think they are teaming us up on purpose," Katsuki said putting an arm on her shoulder.

"That's good for later in the future," Eva said. "We would work together so well as heroes."

"You have one more, you two," Ragdoll giggled as she directed Todoroki in their direction.

"What the hell," Katsuki grunted angrily.

"Hm? If we're in teams of two or three..." Izuku began as he looked at his number. "Wait, there are 21 of us, but five in extra lessons.  "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight?"

Teams.

1. Tokoyami and Shoji

2. Eva, Katsuki, and Todoroki

3. Jiro and Hagakure

4. Momo and Aoyama

5. Jiro and Hagakure

6. Ojiro and Mineta

7. Iida and Koda

8. Izuku.

"Okay, let's try that again. I must be missing something," Izuku said, he then counted again.

"We were randomly assigned," Ojiro said trying to cheer him up. "It's not that nobody chooses you or anything." He yelped when Katsuki grabbed him.

"Listen up, Tail," Katsuki growled. "Trade with me, you join us and Mineta gets Icy hot."

"Izuku, I'll join you," Eva offered, going over to him. "So you won't be alone."

"Really!" Izuku exclaimed as his waterworks began. "You are the best, Eva!"

"Aoyama," Mineta cried. "Please switch partners, I should be with her!" Yaoyorozu backed up, as Aoyama denied the small perv.

"Wait, what did you call me?" Ojiro asked.

"Revelry in the dark," Tokoyami said. In the end, they couldn't change their teams. Eva felt bad leaving Izuku alone. As they walked, they could hear Jiro and Hagakure screaming behind them. As they walked in silence, Kodai's head from Class B, appeared out of the ground.

"Oh," the three sounded, coming to a complete stop, before moving on. Soon, the air started to smell bad.

"Something's wrong," Eva said softly as she looked back.

"What is it, Eva?" Katsuki asked looking at her.

"The air...it's foul," Eva answered.

"Bear?" Katsuki asked as he readied his hand.

"No," Eva denied as she looked forward. "Something's burning."

"That can't be right," Katsuki shook his head. "If something were on fire, it would be because of us two." He looked back at Todoroki.

"It wasn't me," Todoroki assured.

"Do you see anything Eva?" asked Katsuki.

"It's dark," said Shoto gesturing to the night aorund them.

"She can see in the dark," said Katsuki putting a hand on Eva's head as she looked around. "So?"

"No..." began Eva. "But there are a lot of new scents. "Something isn't right." Suddenly, they were surprised by Ragdoll's voice.

"Everyone!" Mandalay's telepath entered all their heads. "Two villains attacked us. It's possible there are more coming. Everyone return to camp immediately. We're regrouping. Do not engage with any enemies." Ragdoll had them head back to camp, and along the way, they started to enter this gas.

"Tsuburabra!" Eva exclaimed, he was passed out on the ground.

"Careful, Eva!" Katsuki shouted as they rushed over, he put a hand over his mouth as well as hers.

"I can take him," Todoroki said, as he grabbed the guy, putting him on his back. They made their way down the road, Katsuki covered his nose and mouth with a hand as Eva did the same, she used her wings to cover Todoroki's mouth and nose to the best of her ability.

"Damn it," Katsuki grunted.

"There must be some sort of gas villain out here," Eva noted. "I'm worried about the others who're still in the forest, as well as at the base."

"I don't see that there's much we can do," Todoroki said. " Hopefully, Ragdoll can take care of everyone else."

"Don't tell me what to do icy--" Katsuki began. They all stopped in front of them was a person kneeling in front of blood, along with a hand. He was a fairly tall person, in a black straitjacket, held together with red and black restraints. "Crap. Who's that? Eva, you are close with Class B, right?"

"I don't recognize him," Eva said. "In any way."

"Hey. Which group was in front of us again?" Katsuki asked.

"Tokoyami, I think, and Shoji," Todoroki answered.

"So pretty," Moonfish gushed at the hand. "No, have to work. Can't." He slowly got to his feet. "But's so delicious, beautiful flesh. Don't tempt me. I have a job to do." He looked back, but only his mouth was shown. Eva let out a small gasp.

"No fighting, is that the rule?"Katsuki asked.

"We can defend, but we can't attack," Eva said.

"Get behind me," Katsuki ordered as he got in front of the other two, his hands were ready Eva noticed that the gas around them had disappeared. She looked back to see it was right behind them.

'So, there's a limit to how far this gas can spread,' Eva thought to herself.

"Everyone in Class A and Class B!" Mandalay's telepath entered their heads again. "In the name of the pro, hero, Eraserhead, you are granted permission to engage in combat. I repeat. Use your training. You may fight these villains." Katsuki began to run towards the guy, as Eva got ready to attack. "Listen, we've discovered one of the villain's targets. It's a student named Kacchan." Eva's eyes went wide. "Kacchan, you should try to avoid combat. And stick to a group. I hope you can hear me!"

"I can focus if you'd get out of my damn head!" Katsuki smiled. "I can take care of myself!" Suddenly, teeth shot out of the guy Eva shot up, shooting wind down, as Todoroki put ice in front of Katsuki, then in front of Eva just as the villain's quirk went towards her.

"Don't rush into this fight carelessly!" Todoroki scolded.

"Have to keep going..."Moonfish growled. "Have to work...Do my job."

"Weren't you listening to Mandalay?" Todoroki asked. "They're here because they're after you."

"Telling us to engage and then charging their minds," Katsuki growled as he became angrier. "I don't know how, but I get the feeling this is Deku's fault." He went over the ice to fight more. "Well, I don't care what anyone says!" Eva grabbed Katsuki as he was about to be hit. Todoroki made more ice to block the attack.

"Damn it!" Todoroki grunted as Moonfish danced away from ice and wind. "He's good at moving around this terrain with his Quirk."'

"This freak looks like a scrawny little sidekick to me!" Katsuki growled as Eva put him on the ground. "C'mon ya bastard!"

"This clearly isn't his first battle," Eva said as the villain moved closer to them.

"Show me..."Moonfish growled. "Show me your exquisite flesh!"

"We can't start fires around here because the flames will spread!" Todoroki informed as Bakugo readied his hand. "Everyone can die if we aren't careful. Do you understand me?"

"Yeah, I get it! I'm not stupid!" Katsuki raged. "Eva! Get me close! Time to go fast!"

"Okay," Eva said as she grabbed him once again.

"Hold up!" Todoroki protested as Eva began to fly about. "If you are going to make an explosion, they have to be small!"

"We understand that!" Katuski raged. "We aren't stupid!"

"Don't fly into the gas!" Todoroki shouted.

"Understood," Eva responded as they flew past, Moonfish, Katsuki was able to touch Moonfish, letting off a small explosion. Moonfish growled angrily in pain, shooting his teeth toward them, Todoroki would use his ice to prevent any injury to his friends. This continued for a bit until they heard a gunshot, Eva went back down to Todoroki.

"Was that?" Katsuki asked.

"Yeah," Todoroki answered. "Let's hope our classmates are okay, we need to do our part and take care of this guy," Katsuki grunted, high in the air, Moonfish had taken quite a beating.

"Flesh," Moonfish growled. "Pieces of meat!" He shot out more of his quirk, with a big slice of wind, Eva broke them as Todoroki used ice to block, but the attacks kept coming.

"Teeth attacks? Seriously?" Katsuki demanded. "It's time to blast this freak with everything I've got!"

"You can't!" Todoroki denied him.

"If the trees burn, then just cover them with ice, stupid," Katsuki instructed.

"A big explosion will impair my vision, though," Todoroki said. "I may not be able to see the fire. You've gotten near him before, but how long till he picks up his reaction time?"

"You let me worry about that," Eva grunted. "I was having trouble maneuvering around his teeth, but I think I can get a clear shot now." Katsuki smiled and growled at the same time. They all stopped when they heard the sounds of rumbling coming their way, they could see debris rising in the distance as it got closer.

"There. I see ice and smoke! They're fighting!" They heard Izuku exclaim. The forest was cleared, and they saw Shoji running towards them with Izuku on his back, they were being chased by Tokoyami who lost control of Dark Shadow. The angry bird was on a huge rampage.

"Izuku!" Eva gasped when she saw the state he was in.

"Bakugo! Todoroki! Yuki!" Shoji shouted running towards them. "One of you. Give us some light!"

"More flesh!" Moonfish shouted as he shot teeth toward the people arriving on the scene. Dark Shadow immediately intercepted the attack, pinning the villain on the ground. They all gasped, they saw Tokoyami in tears and screaming in pain.

"Kacchan!" Izuku called out.

"Shoji and Midoriya," Todoroki said. "And is that...Tokoyami?"

"Dark Shadow is huge," Eva noted.

"We need some light now," Shoji pleaded. "He's out of control."

"He's attacking blindly," Eva said as Shoji dodged Dark Shadow as Todoroki put the other student down.

"I'll use my fire," Todoroki said.

"Not so fast," Katuski said as he put his hand in front of him.

"Flesh," Moonfish growled as he started to push himself up with his teeth. "Slabs of meat. Now good. Can't allow it. I'm the one who gets to slice them open. Don't steal from me!"

"You don't matter," Dark Shadow growled, grabbing hold of the villain. "Insignificant bug!"

"Now, finish him," Katsuki smirked as Dark Shadow broke the teeth, making the guy scream in pain. Dark Shadow slammed him through trees behind throwing him against a tree harshly, the guy was now toothless.

"Not enough! It's not enough!" Dark Shadow growled. As he went to attack more both Bakugo and Todoroki went past him with flames. Tokoyami knelt on the ground panting, as Dark Shadow went back into his body.

"And once again, I'm a terrible matchup for you, bird boy," Katsuki stated.

"Thanks," Tokoyami breathed. "You saved me."

"We should be thanking you as well," Eva said as she knelt in front of him.

"We could barely defend against that guy, but you beat him instantly," Todoroki added.

"My friend. Are you okay?" Shoji asked as he walked over. "You did what we needed you to."

"Shoji. I apologize," Tokoyami said. "You, too. Midoriya. I'm still far too immature." He looked at his trembling hands. "Anger consumed me. And I let my quirk take over. The influence of the darkness, combined with my fury, spurred Dark Shadow into a frenzy. Until...it got so strong, I couldn't contain it. And I ended up hurting Shoji."

"Tokoyami," Eva breathed taking his hands.

"We'll deal with that later," Shoji said, Tokoyami gasped. "That's what you'd say if our roles were reversed." He looked up as Izuku laughed lightly.

"Izuku," Eva breathed as she looked back at him. "Your injuries."

"Don't mind me," Izuku said. "I don't know if you heard Mandalay, but I found out the villains are after Kacchan."

"Bakugo? Are they trying to kill him?" Tokoyami asked.

"Why are they after him?" Eva asked as she helped Tokoyami to his feet.

"I'm not sure to either of those questions," Izuku answered. "But I think we should get to camp. It's the safest place now, so long as Vlad King and Mr. Aizawa have regrouped there."

"I understand," Tokoyami nodded. "So our mission is to get Bakugo back to safety by serving as his protectors."

"It's possible the Pussycats are still fighting in the clearing," Izuku said. "Going that way would draw the attention of the villains. Plus, it's longer. We should cut straight across."

"We don't know how many enemies there are," Eva said as she went over to Izuku; gently touching the more swollen eye. Izuku stared at her, and Eva tilted her head to focus a bit. "10 villains all toegther. Those are all the news scents."

"We might come across some by chance," Tokoyami added.

"We can use Shoji's searchability, Eva's flight, and Todoroki's freezing power," Izuku said as Todoroki picked up Tsubuara again. "And, if Tokoyami's okay with it, we can always use Dark Shadow now that we can actually control him. Honestly, with a group like this, we could probably even go up against All Might."

"I'd be fine by myself!" Katsuki shouted.

"We'll surround you as we walk," Todoroki said.

"Yuki, you go behind him, if we come across any, you are to take him and go back to camp, don't worry about us," Shoji instructed. "Better yet, hold on to him."

"I don't need any of your protection, dammit!" Katsuki yelled.

"Let's go," Shoji ordered as they began to walk, Shoji and Todoroki were in front, with the people they were carrying. "Don't ignore me!"

"Just make sure you keep up," Todoroki ordered as Eva was behind Katsuki, and Tokoyami was behind her.

"Don't tell me what to do!" Katsuki yelled as Eva grabbed him, she fluttered in the air, just a bit off the ground. "Put me down, Eva."

"You've always protected me in the past," Eva said. "Let me and the others protect you."

"I don't need protection," Katsuki growled. They walked for a bit, Katsuki tried to get out of Eva's hold, but she was showing no sign of letting go. Suddenly, Eva felt herself burning as small pieces of metal went through her arms and legs, then one went through her back, sliding past her heart, it ended up getting stuck in her body, it barely broke through the other side, she was burning badly from the one stuck inside. Tears welled up in her eyes, they fell onto Katsuki. "What the?" He was surprised to see her in tears, he felt something in between their bodies. He reached in when he pulled his arm out, in his hand was metal. 'Silver.' His eyes went wide in a panic, he looked back up to find Eva gone, Tokoyami was gone as well. Then he disappeared as well. Soon, the group reached Urakaka and Tsu, they were facing a girl with blonde hair.

"Urakaka!" Shoji exclaimed.

"Quickly, guys!" Tsu shouted as she was pinned to a tree. "Help her!" Toga got out of Urakaka's hold, and she started to retreat.

"Stop!" Urakaka called out.

"There's too many people here now, and I don't feel like being killed tonight," Toga said as she looked back. "Toodles." Her eye caught Izuku, she gasped before running off.

"Get her!" Urakaka shouted as he got to her feet.

"It's too dangerous!" Tsu shouted as she held Urakaka up. "We have no idea what kind of Quirk she has."

"Who was that girl just now?" Todoroki asked.

"One of the villains," Tsu answered. "She was crazy."

"Urakaka. You're hurt!" Izuku exclaimed.

"It's not bad," Urakaka assured. "I can still walk okay. You're the one who looks terrible!"

"We can't stand here and talk," Shoji said. "Let's move."

"I'm just glad you didn't get injured too bad," Izuku said. "Now come on. Join our group. We're protecting Kacchan and making our way back to camp."

"If you're protecting Bakugo, then shouldn't he be standing here with you guys?" Tsu asked.

"Huh? What are you talking about?" Izuku asked. "Eva is holding him, right over here, behind u--" They looked back to see three of their friends gone.

"Nice trick, aye?" Mr. Compress asked as he stood on the branch of a tree. "I took the lad you're talking about with my magic." He bounced a small blue ball in his hand. "A talent like his would be squandered where he cast as a hero. We'll provide him with a grander stage where he can truly shine."

"Give him back!" Izuku demanded.

"Give him back?" Mr. Compress repeated. "What an odd thing to say. Bakugo doesn't belong to anyone. He's his own person. Don't be so arrogant."

"We'll stop you!" Izuku shouted.

"Right now!" Todoroki declared as he used his ice.

"Why the aggression?" Mr. Compress asked he easily avoided the attack, he was easily flying through the air. "We merely wish to show him that there are options, besides the fanatical world of heroism he's drowning in." He landed on top of some trees. "It's important to choose a path that aligns with your core values, after all."

"It's not just Bakugo," Shoji gasped. "Tokoyami's gone! Yuki as well!"

"Eva," Izuku gasped as they looked to see their classmates not there. "No."

"If you're monologuing because you think you've beaten us, you're mistaken," Todoroki growled at the villain.

"A bad habit of mine," Mr. Compress admitted. "I was once an entertainer, you know. Taking Tokoyami and Yuki was a bit of improv on my part. Moonfish. Our dear blade tooth. He may not look it, but he's a dastardly death row devil who's last appeal was denied. When I saw the avian take him down so easily and violently, I decided he should join our troupe. As for the fae, why should she focus on becoming a hero for this realm, when she really should be taking revenge on humans for what's happened. We'll guide her down the right path as well. I hated having to use silver on her, fairies are quite magical. But not to worry, we won't let them kill, yet." Todoroki gasped.

"You bastard!" Izuku raged. "You can't take them!"

"Midoriya. Calm down," Shoji ordered.

"Here, take this guy for me," Todoroki ordered as he handed Tsubuarba to Urakaka.

"Okay," Urakaka breathed as Todoroki ran forward, he made a huge ice attack.

"Apologies," Mr. Compress said as he flew through the air. "But sleight-of-hand and escapology are my specialties, not combat. I'm not foolish enough to fight hero candidates from UA. Vanguard Action Squad. I've acquired our target. Our show has officially come to a close. Meet me at the retrieval point in the next five minutes for the final bow."

"They're going to take them," Todoroki said. "Our friends."

"They can't!" Izuku cried out.

"You're right," Todoroki agreed. "We'll stop them." They took after Mr. Compress. "Damn it, this guy quick!"

"If only Iida were here!" Urakaka said.

"These ingenues are as big a deal as I expected," Mr. Compress said.

"C'mon," Todoroki urged.

"We can't give up," Izuku said. "Not now. We have to get him...and get our friends back!"

"But he's pulling farther ahead with every second," Shoji said.

"Urakaka. You have to make us float," Izuku ordered.

"Huh?" Urakaka asked.

"And then Asui," Izuku instructed. "You launch us as far as you can using your tongue!"

"Ribbit," Tsu responded.

"Shoji, hold me and Todoroki and use your Quirk to correct our trajectory through the air," Izuku instructed. "Measure the distance with your eyes, Urakaka. And then, when the timing looks right, release us!

"I see," Shoji said. "Human bullets."

"Wait, Deku," Urakaka said. "You're still going to fight with those injuries?"

"Midoriya. You stay here," Todoroki ordered. "With that much pain--"

"Trust me," Izuku cut him off. "I don't feel any pain right now. I can do this. Hurry!"

"Wait, Deku. Here!" Urakaka exclaimed, she ripped off her shirt, revealing the tank top underneath. They used the two pieces of cloth to put on Izuku's arms. Tsu wrapped her tongue around them, and then Urakaka made them weightless. "Okay. Go ahead, Tsu."

"Make sure you've got a good grip on them," Tsu advised. She then threw them right toward, Mr. Compress. After colliding, they slammed into a clearing spot. Twice, Toga and Dabi were there.

"Whoa, whoa, what's this?" Twice asked. "Oh, hey wait, I know these kids." His voice changed deeper. "Who are they?"

"Give us Tokoyami, Eva, and Kacchan back to us!" Izuku ordered angrily.

"Wait, I know these kids!" Twice said a higher voice, it was back to the lower one looking at Toga. "Who are they?"

"Out of the way, Compress," Dabi ordered as he held up his hand.

"Got it," Compress squeaked, once he disappeared, Dabi blasted blue flames.

"That's cold!" Twice said.

"My arms are burning!" Shoji cried as he and Izuku got caught in the fire.

"Midoriya! Shoji!" Todoroki exclaimed.

"The beat-up little boy and you," Twice said as he jumped over the blue flames. "You're on Shigaraki's kill list!" His voice went higher. "No, they weren't!" Todoroki used his ice. "So hot!"

"Hi, Izuku!" Toga greeted as she was trying to get his blood. "My name's Toga!" She knocked him on his back. "I've been thinking since I saw you..." She took out a knife. "That you'd be so much cuter if you just bled a little more! I can help!" Shoji shoved her away.

"Midoriya!" Shoji exclaimed.

"So, that's how it is," Toga stated once she landed. "You want to come between us? To be honest, you're not really my type. But I'll cut you anyway."

"She's crazy," Shoji grunted.

"Ha, ha! This is easy!" Twice laughed as he avoided Todoroki's ice. "Give me all you've got!" He now stood on the ice. "Hey, man, cut me some slack!"

"What the hell is with this guy?" Todoroki growled as Mr. Compress reappeared.

"Ugh," Mr. Compress groaned. "I can't believe you wrecked my exit. Unrehearsed amateurs."

"You got Bakugo?" Dabi asked as they got close to each other.

"Of course," Mr. Compress confirmed as he reached into his pocket. "Huh?"

"Midoriya. Todoroki. We're done!" Shoji confirmed. "He gave away his best trick. I'm not sure what your quirk is. But it had to do with those little marbles, right?" He stood up. "The ones you'd stashed in your pocket." He held up three blue marbles. "So I'm guessing these are Tokoyami, Yuki, and Bakugo."

"You rescued them!" Izuku smiled.

"Ha! Ha! Ha! Well, color me impressed," Mr. Compress said. "Just as I'd expect from someone with so many hands. How splendid." They began to retreat.

"Right," Todoroki said as he created an ice wall. "Nice job, Shoji." He joined the others.

"Moron," Dabi grunted as he held up a hand.

"No wait," Mr. Compress said as he held up a hand.

"A Nomu!" Izuku gasped as they saw one appear from behind a tree.

"Quick, this way!" Todoroki instructed as they changed directions. Suddenly, Kurogiri appeared in front of them.

"Not this guy," Shoji said.

"He was at the USJ," Todoroki recalled.

"The warp villain," Izuku whispered.

"It's been five minutes since the signal," Kurogiri said. "Let's go, Dabi."

"Sorry, Izuku," Toga apologized as she began to go through. "But I'll see you later, 'kay?" Twice dove through a gate.

"Hold on. We're not leaving without the kid," Dabi protested.

"Don't worry," Mr. Compress assured. "They were so proud of themselves for rooting through my pockets that I thought I'd let them gloat." The students gasped, looking over at Dabi and Mr. Compress. "But allow me to explain as a basic tenet of magic." The villain faced his audience. "If I'm flaunting something shiny. He moved his mask aside, sticking out his tongue. "It's because there's something else, I don't want you to see." On his tongue were three marbles, each one with friends trapped inside.

"HE GOT THEM!" Izuku and Todoroki gasped. Mr. Compress snapped his fingers. The marbles Shoji was holding were shards of ice.

"Is that my ice?" Todoroki asked.

"That's right," Mr. Compress confirmed. "During the freezing attack, I prepared dummies and slipped them into my right pocket.

"DAMN IT!" Izuku growled as he began to charge toward them. The other two joined them.

"A little bit of misdirection," Mr. Compress said after fixing his mask. "Forgive me." He began to go through the gate. "I do so adore a twist ending."

"YOU CAN'T DO THIS!" Izuku shouted in despair.

"One last now," Mr. Compress said as he tilted forward a little. "And then the curtain fall--" Suddenly, he was blasted in the face by a navel laser. His mask was completely broken. They could see both of the guy's eyes and mouth.

"Aoyama?" Izuku asked as Mr. Compress coughed out the blue marbles. All of them rushed forward, and Izuku yelled in pain as he did. Shoji grabbed Tokoyami, as Todoroki went to grab Eva and Bakugo with one hand. Dabi reached over grabbing Bakugo as Todoroki grabbed hold of Eva.

"Well isn't that a tragedy," Dabi mocked looking down at Todoroki. "Poor little Shoto Todoroki."

"Confirm it now," Dabi ordered as he joined Mr. Compress at the gate. Izuku was shooting toward them as fast as he could. "Release them."

"That last ruined my finale," Mr. Compress growled as he went further into the gate, he snapped his fingers. Tokoyami appeared above Shoji and Eva appeared above Todoroki, she was unconscious, bleeding everywhere. There was a little bit of smoke from where she was burning, Todoroki caught her before she could hit the ground. Bakugo appeared with his neck in the hands of Dabi.

"Checkmate. Heh," Dabi smirked as he went further into the gate.

"KACCHAN, NO!" Izuku cried as he ran forward, he took a jump. "KACCHAN!"

"Stay back, Deku," Katsuki ordered as he disappeared into the warp. Izuku hit the ground right after Kurogiri disappeared. Izuku looked back at Eva, then forward where Katsui disappeared. The forest around them was one fire from Dabi. Tears rolled down his face rapidly. He then let out a scream of pain from his heart.

Todoroki placed Eva on the ground, he saw four places that she was bleeding from, along with a little smoke coming from her. He noticed around him were four pieces of metal, he then remembered what she once said about silver. He made a circle of ice, ripping open her shirt, he saw the blood pouring down from the left side of her chest. Shoji looked over, he turned away, taking guard, as the others went to Izuku.

"I'm sorry," Todoroki breathed softly. He ripped the left part of her bra off, he saw the piece of silver that barely broke through the skin, then began to extract the piece of metal himself, he froze the area around the wound. It took him about eight minutes to get it out, he quickly used his jacket to cover her upper half.

Not long after the villains left, a rescue squad that Vlad King called, showed up. They put out the fires as well as helping the students. Of the 41 students, 15 were unconscious and in serious condition due to the gas. 12 others were injured. Thirteen were unharmed, physically. And...one of them was missing. One of the six pro heroes was in serious condition because of a blow to the head. One was missing, but it was apparent that she'd lost a lot of blood. On the villain's side, three were caught and arrested. The other attackers managed to disappear without a trace thanks to the warp villain.
