Eva rushed down the hall, then blasted the door open with her wings, scaring Recovery Girl. A bit later, Eva was in the Recovery room with Recovery Girl, Izuku with both arms in casts, wrapped, and All Might in his weaker/normal form. 

"The bones in your right arm were shattered," Recovery Girl revealed. "I'm afraid it'll never be the same as it was before. "All Might gasped. "I need to remove the bone fragments or they'll get stuck in your joints. I'll heal you afterward." She sighed, turning to All Might. "You lit a fire under this child and pushed him too hard. Look what he's done to make you proud. I don't like it one bit. You're going too far. You hear me? You and the boy. Don't praise him for what he's done today."

"Deku!" Urakaka shouted as the door opened with other classmates.

"Midoriya!" Iida, Tsu, and Mineta shouted at the same time. 

"So this is where you went, Yuki," Iida said looking at her, she nodded. "You left in a flash!"

"You scared the crap out of me," All Might said as blood dripped out of his mouth; Eva held up a handkerchief to All Might without looking, he took it. 

"Are you okay?" Urakaka asked as they entered the room. She turned to All Might, but they didn't recognize him. "Oh. It's nice to meet you, sir."

"Uh, yeah," All Might sweated. 

"He's in no state for visitors," Recovery Girl said. 

"Hey, you guys," Izuku greeted, he managed to open his eyes. "Shouldn't you be watching the matches? Eva isn't your match-up after mine?"

"The stage is far too damaged," Iida answered. "They're taking a quick break to repair it now. 

"That match was the scariest thing I've ever seen in my life, Midoriya," Mineta trembled. "What pro's gonna want a sidekick that hurts himself?"

"Now you're just rubbing salt in his wounds," Tsu scolded, she stuck her tongue in his ear. "Probably not a good time."

"Hey, I'm just speakin' the truth!" Mineta argued. 

"You're much too noisy," Recovery Girl scolded. "I know you're worried, but I've got to focus on surgery now."

"Surgery!" Urakaka, Iida, Mineta, and Tsu erupted at the same time. 

"Go, get out of here," Recovery Girl ordered.

"Surgery's a big deal, isn't it?" Mineta asked. 

"Will his wounds be healed?" Iida asked.

"Don't worry, just leave me to it," Recovery Girl.

"Why is your door broken?" Tsu asked. She then sadly ribbited, as she closed the door; well more like tried to put it in the frame without it falling over.

"Eva, you should get out of here as well," Izuku said weakly, she looked at him. "You need to prepare for your match."

"I took notes for you," Eva said as she held up his notebook, flipping to Todoroki's page. He smiled at her, she placed it on a table, then fluttered up to him. "I know what you did for Todoroki...you are a good guy." She kissed his cheek.

"Thanks, Eva," Izuku smiled a bit more. "I will try to catch your match." 

Eva looked at Recovery Girl. "I can fix your door no problem, Ma'am." Recovery Girl raised her eyebrows, Eva raised her hand up, the door lifted and the parts all swirled around, Eva's hand went down, and everything went back into place. She then left the room, went to the waiting room, Izuku looked at All Might who was still be surprised by what he saw.

"All Might," said Izuku, All Might looked at him. "Don't repeat what you saw, Eva normally does not perform magic in front of humans. If I am unable, can you watch her match for me?"

"You will be able to see her match," assured Recovery Girl going to her chair. "And don't you worry, we will wait until she is ready to say something. We are not foolish enough to cross a fae, and we respect people's reasons even if we do not know them."

"That's right," agreed All Might. 

Soon Eva was going back on the field.

"This is the match that will decide who versus Todoroki and who versus Iida!!" Present Mic shouted." Angel from the hero course class 1-B, Ibara Shiozaki" The crowd cheered. "Versus the fae from the hero course of class 1-A, Eva Yuki!" The crowd kept cheering. "Personally--"

"You are supposed to be unbiased," Aizawa cut him off.

"Right, sorry," Present Mic shouted, the two girls stared at each other. "Ready...Begin!" Shiozaki shot out vines towards Eva, she maneuvered her way through them, all while sending a few wind blasts. "It had just begun, and things are already getting wild!" Everything was going how Eva wanted, Shiozaki was so focused on capturing her that, she didn't notice what was happening. The match was definitely going longer than the one with Awase. 

"Is it me, or is Eva just running away?" Mineta asked.

"Not at all, you moron," Bakugo grunted. "Earlier, she told me her plan was a knot...I wasn't sure what she meant at first." He smiled widely. "Eva is a nature fae, even though vines are that girl's quirk, Eva has the upper hand." Suddenly, Eva grabbed one of the vines and pulled on it. Shiozaki let out a yelp, and as her vines came around her, she was practically a ball of yarn, but in vine form. Eva then sent huge wind blasts, rolling Shiozaki off the stage.

"The fairy has ensnared Ibara in her own quirk!" Present shouted as the crowd went wild. "Man, that's one big ball of yarn for the cats to play with!"

"Eva Yuki wins!" Midnight shouted. "She'll be moving on to facing Todoroki to see who advances to the final round!" Eva flew over to Shiozaki, who was freeing herself from her own quirk.

"Forgive me," Eva said sticking out her hand. "As a fairy, I should be respecting nature...fighting you...my morals felt a bit violated." Shiozaki stood, her eyes on Eva, she took her hand.

"Pitting us against each other was nothing but a sinful act," Shiozaki said. "Truly wicked."

"Such chivalrous!" Midnight squealed even more. 

"I wish you luck on your match with Iida," Eva said. She made her way into the stadium, she looked at a certain section to see Todoroki staring down at her; her stomach was rolling. She then made her way up to her section.

"What is your plan?" a voice asked, she looked over to see Shinso leaning against a wall.

"Hm?" Eva asked.

"Every opponent, you seemed to have friended," Shinso said. "Why? We are rivals in this festival."

"Only for the festival," Eva said. "And well...Shiozaki seems highly dedicated to nature."

" A hidden motive," Shinso lifted his eyebrow. "That doesn't seem heroic."

"Shiozaki seems like the type of person who would want to protect nature and fairy home grounds," Eva answered. Shinso lowered his eyebrows. "Dad moved us to live with humans in the city after an incident; he didnt want hatred to grow in our hearts." She looked away. "I was young when we moved to the human world, but the memory of what happened is very much engraved into my mind." She then looked back to see Shinso staring at her. "I should be getting to the stands for the next match."

"Right," Shinso said, Eva fluttered up to her section.

"Nicely done, Eva!" Hagarkure complimented her when she got the top.

"Thank you," Eva smiled. "I know there wasn't much action."

"Still, it got you another round," Tsu said. "You are going up against Todoroki though."

"Yeah," Eva said as she went down, taking her seat next to Urakaka. Down below, Shiozaki was versing Iida. Her vines shot towards him.

"Here we go," Iida said. "Recipro...Burst!" He shot right past her vines." Shiozaki yelped as Iida pushed her out of the ring. 

"Shiozaki is out. Iida wins the match!" Midnight announced. Next, it was Tokoymai versus Mina.

"Dark Shadow!" Tokoyami shouted. 

"I got her!" Dark Shadow growled, popping out, Mina threw acid at Dark Shadow in fear. He slammed into her.

"No!" Mina squealed as she went back, she tried to stay in but landed on her butt outside of the line. 

"Ashido is out of bounds!" Midnight announced. "Tokoyami will advance!" 

"Whoa!" Mineta gasped as the crowd cheered. "He won that battle super fast!"

"Tokoyami's Dark Shadow is so amazing,"  Tsu commented. "Ribbit."

"Urakaka?" Eva asked, she's been quiet.

"What's wrong, you still worried about Midoriya?" Tsu asked. 

"She said she had to perform surgery," Urakaka said. 

"Recovery Girl's the best---you've got nothing to worry about, "Mineta said. 

"He's right," Tsu confirmed as Eva got up, she had to make her way back to the waiting room. 

"Sure," Urakaka smiled back at them as Eva fluttered away. Eva opened the door to see Iida.

"Congratulations," Eva said. "You did as well."

"Thank you!" Iida smiled as he put his phone down.

"Oh, was I interrupting?" Eva asked, stepping back. 

"No, not at all," Iida answered. "I was trying to call my brother but couldn't get through." Eva tilted her head. "No need to worry. What is your plan for Todoroki?"

"Endurance is in mind," Eva answered. "Though I will need to be careful with my moves, it is Todoroki after all."

"Maybe he won't use his full force on a girl," Iida said.

"No," Eva said. "I'd be mad if he did." He looked surprised. "If he doesn't give it his all, I don't know how much harder I am going to need to work. It'll be reckless---."

"I'm sure whatever plan you have will be great!" Iida encouraged as he chopped at the air. "You are good friends with Midoriya after all!" They heard a buzzer. "Good luck, I'll make sure to watch your fight, so I can learn from it."

"You want tips on how to beat me if that's a turn," Eva said.

"If it comes down to it," Iida smiled as she sweated a bit. "You can do it!"

"Thank you," Eva breathed. She fluttered out, going towards the field, and she passed Bakugo on her way. "Your fight?"

"Destroyed him," Katuski smirked. "It's your turn to destroy ice-hot."

"Don't fully count on it," Eva said. "I will be giving my all." Eva saw that his cheek was cut, and she wiped the blood from his cheek. "Kirishima was able to get close?"

"Dumb hair is a good fighter," Katsuki admitted. "I know I need to work harder as well. Go on, your match is about to start, I'll make sure to watch."

"Thanks," Eva said as she made her way to the field. Eva was now standing on the other side was Todoroki was staring at her. She glanced at the stands to see Izuku, he was giving her a thumbs-up. She looked back to Katsuki watching from the doorway he nodded. Eva looked back at her opponent. 

"We got to see a smooch from these two in the first rounds! Now we get these two love birds to go head to head!" Present Mic shouted.

"They are not, love birds!" Class 1-A shouted.

"On one side we got half ice, half fire, from the hero course, Class 1-A, Shoto Todoroki!" Present Mic shouted, and the crowd cheered. "On the other, we got wind and wings, also from the hero course and Class 1-A, Eva Yuki!" The cheers began. "Ready..."

"Give it your all," Eva requested.

"As long as you do," Todoroki grunted back.

"Begin!" Present Mic shouted. Todoroki sent his opening ice move, Eva shot a blast towards him, breaking the ice, she shot through the ice, slamming her foot into his stomach, pushing him back. The crowd tried to shield themselves from the after-shock wind. He used ice to stop himself from going over the line. "Whoa! Yuki countered Todoroki's signature opening move and managed to land a kick on him!" The crowd was cheering.

"I should have known you wouldn't make this easy," Todoroki said as he got back to his feet, he shot more ice her way she blasted through the ice again, she flew around, kicking him once again, he slid to a corner, stopping from going over with his ice. He sent ice up under her, Eva shot up she fell back behind. "Gotcha!" Eva looked back to see Todoroki right behind her.

"Surprise attack from Todoroki!" Present Mic shouted. He barely touched Eva's arm, she grabbed his left arm, slammed her palm into his stomach, then flipped him, slamming him against the ice. This caused Todoroki to spit up some blood. "What was that?!" The crowd was cheering even more. He slammed his hand down, and Eva went back, avoiding the ice. "I know she's a girl! But she's not frail!"

"Quit holding back," Eva huffed as they stood on opposite ends. "Bring it."

"Let's end this now," Todoroki grunted as he got his feet. He shot up more ice pillars underneath her, Eva shot around them, they met in the middle, she flipped him off his feet, and he managed to get ice on her foot.

"Insane moves! Yuki was able to quickly counter his attack! But he was able to give her cold feet!" Present Mic shouted. Eva then shot through the ice pillars, she kept hitting Todoroki, and he would barely be able to touch her.

Izuku grunted in worry.

"What is it? Yuki is doing well," Iida said.

"She's losing speed," Izuku said as he scribbled in his notebook. "Eva has about five wind blasts before she starts to lose speed, it used to be three and she would lose flight, she seems to know right when his quirk is activating as well." Everyone stared as he muttered. 

"Why does Yuki strike Todoroki with an open palm rather than a closed fist?" asked Kirishima clenching his fist.

"It is the way Eva was taught to fight," answered Izuku with a small smile. "Tends to spar with her brothers a lot. She knows both, but this is the one she prefers." He smiled more every time she taught him small techniques, how Kozu had him focus, not leaving any openings. Dios never had him do physical things, but always made sure he did his homework. Gino made sure he knew a little first aid stuff. 

"It seems to be the fairy is sweeping ice right under him," Present Mic commented. Todoroki's eyes widened. He remembered what Eva said back at the USJ. His nose was now bleeding, he had a few cuts, and Eva had a few ice spots all over. 

"It seems you want this to be endurance as well," Todoroki said. "You will have to land eventually!" He shot ice again, and Eva flew in fast circles; spitting out wind again, this time she created a clear tornado, ice was spinning all around. 

"What the heck are you feeding your students Aizawa!?" Present Mic shouted as the crowd went wild. Eva shot ice toward Todoroki as she flew through the wind, he kept getting glimpses of her, and he would counter the ice with more ice. He was starting to see that she was starting to slow down. The turns were getting tight, and Eva slammed into a couple of the ice pillars.

"It seems Yuki is not able to maneuver through the maze Todoroki has created!" Present Mic shouted. "Besides getting hit, the two keep getting back to their feet! Wicked!"

"Yuki is a fan of mangos, always drinking the juice in my class," Aizawa commented. At the entrance, Katsuki was staring at the battle; up at Eva, he couldn't help but smile. She was using the wind to her advantage unlike before. In the stands, Yaoyorozu made blankets for Class 1-A, people were freezing from the ice wind storm being created. Eva shot in and out of the windstorm hitting Todoroki at some point, he grabbed and slammed her onto the ground.

"Todoroki had finally managed to make solid contact with the fairy!" Present Mic shouted. "She's pulling an Urakaka!" Everyone gasped to see Eva out of her jacket, she was up in the air, and Todoroki glared up at her; he was starting to ice over. Eva cut an ice pillar top off before she landed. "Yuki has landed!" Todoroki shot up, the two started to go hand-to-hand combat. "Absolutely insane! It seems each time Todoroki activates his quirk, Yuki is quick to counter and evade!"

"She truly is amazing," Urakaka said. "Both of them."

"I'm not mad about her breaking my kite anymore, "Izuku said. Everyone looked at him in question. 

"You are going to get frostbite," Eva said as she avoided his hand, kicking him in the left. "You really want to lose?"

"You and Mirdoriya are similar," Todoroki said as they stood a distance from each other. "What is driving you? I know it's not number one."

"To protect my people," Eva answered as they charged at each other, they went hand to hand more, parts of her wing had ice on it, but Todoroki was trembling. Eva fluttered away, before quickly dropping.

"Yuki is losing flight!" Urakaka noted. "Oh, no!"

"Todoroki is almost at his limit as well," Iida said.

"This fight...just burn her clothes off!" Mineta shouted, and he quickly got smacked by Tsu's tongue. Down below at the fight, Todoroki's hand lit up in fire without realizing it, his palm landed on Eva right above her left hip; then forcing her back, she went flying off the pillar, slamming into another. Todoroki's eyes went wide, he stared at his hand in fear. Eva got back onto her feet, she was in a lot of pain, but she couldn't stop now.

"Yuki managed to push Todoroki into using his fire!?" Present Mic shouted. "How insane is this match? Will he continue to burn her with fire!? Or will their love burn each other!?"

"Oh, shut up!" Class 1-A and some of the other classes shouted. 

"Is that all you got?" Eva asked, he looked at her with sincere eyes. "Let's continue." Eva shot wind scythe up at Todoroki breaking the ice pillar, he fell off, then shot towards her with more ice. Eva flew up to another ice pillar, she hopped from pillar to pillar, throwing ice at Todoroki.

"This has turned into a game of cat and mouse!" Present Mic shouted as Todoroki shot ice in the direction he got hit with ice. "Yuki is using Todoroki's own ice against him! He's starting to freeze over again!" They were both very worn out from the fight. Eva peered over a pillar, to see Todoroki was freezing over pretty badly, he was looking around for the next ice throw, and Eva could see her breath. She looked up at the pillars; she quickly flew to another, before dropping. She didn't have much flight left.  With a strong wind blast, the ice started to fall like dominos, all going toward Todoroki. He then used fire to burn all the ice around him. The crowd gasped as Eva started to fall, Eva let out a small gasp as she got burned a bit, she couldn't get her wings to fly. Todoroki's eyes went even wider as he quickly froze everything over. He immediately rushed over, catching Eva into his arms bridal style, their eyes met for a few seconds. Shoto walked over to the edge, then placed her down, using a bit more ice to push her out of the line.

"What a gentleman! Yuki is out of bounds!" Midnight squealed. "Todoroki advances to the final!" Everyone cheered and cooed.

"Why?" Todoroki demanded as he fell to his knees beside her; he was panting. "Why did you push me so far? Why would you go to those lengths? Did Midoriya say something to you?"

"It's as Izuku and Katsuki said," Eva said. "We are all giving it our all, and so should you." He looked at her.

"EVA!" Katsuki shouted as he ran over to her. "EVA!"

"We are going to take a couple of minutes to clean up folks!" Present Mic shouted. "Stayed tuned for the final round! We will have some festivities as we wait!" Bakugo helped Eva to her feet, before helping her toward the nurses' office. Eva looked back to see Todoroki was very sad, he was staring at his left hand in horror. 

"I'm sorry," Eva apologized once they went down the hall. "I didn't make it as far."

"No," Katuski smirked. "You still gave that ice bastard an ass-kicking! You pushed him hard!" He tapped her side happily. "You didn't hold back either."

"Katsuki?" Eva asked looking at him. 

"You have improved," Katsuki said as his smile dropped. "But you need to work on maneuvering at that speed." Eva nodded. She looked down as he lifted the bottom of her tank top; there were a few burns, including Todoroki's handprint. "You were a bit reckless out there."

 "I know," Eva said as they reached the nurse's office. "I just wanted to make sure Todoroki was giving it his all, if he didn't I was going to wing-slap him into the bottom of the Pacific Ocean." Katsuki started laughing as they entered the office. He ended up leaving so Recovery Girl could treat Eva. She was given bandages for bigger injuries such as the burn mark. 

"Thank you," Eva breathed.

"Don't you be reckless and follow the same footsteps as your friend," Recovery Girl lectured. "I count you on being the more level-headed of the three of you." Eva knew she was talking about Katsuki as well. The door opened, and she looked back to see Todoroki.

"Yuki," Todoroki breathed weakly; he slowly walked in. "The burns I gave you?"

"They will scar," Recovery Girl confirmed. " She will be alright...I will be right back." She stepped out of the room, closing the door. Todoroki slowly walked over to her, he dropped to his knees, lowering his head.

"I am sorry," Todoroki apologized; his body was shaking. "I rejected my father's power because I didn't want to turn into a monster like him and hurt people with it...and now I've hurt you with it, I am going to end up as a monster just like him. I am so sorry, please forgive me." Eva could see a small puddle under his eyes. 

"Shoto," Eva breathed softly as she dropped to her knees. "You are not a monster, you are not your father either." She gently lifted his face, so their eyes would meet. "The fact you don't want to hurt people with this power is a sign you are a good person." He stared at her as she cupped his face in her hands. "When I was younger, before my mom died...she always said we do not get to choose what power we are born with, but we do get to choose what we get to do with it."

"I do not want to be like him," Todoroki said as tears rolled down his face. "I do not want to be a monster...you heard what the villains said at USJ."

"Why do you think it will make you a monster?" Eva asked as she wiped his tears away with her thumbs.

"My father," Todoroki began as he looked away. "He uses his power to hurt people, he is the reason our family isn't together, he's the reason my mother is in the hospital. He treated me like I wasn't human, and never got to interact with my siblings. Training me for the world they would never understand. His fire destroyed our family, I do not want to destroy anyone with it."

"You won't," Eva said. 

"How can you be so sure I won't end up like him?" Todoroki asked as he looked back at her, tears still pouring out.

"You asked Shoji to step out during combat training because you didn't want him to get caught in your ice," Eva reminded him. "You are a kind person, that isn't going to change." She took his left hand. "As for your fireside...perhaps you should go see your mom again. Then perhaps you won't be so scared of using it."

"Is it that the same with your wings?" Todoroki asked as he sat on his legs. "Midoriya mentioned them being ripped out."

"My mom as well," Eva said, he looked at her. 

"Tell me about your mom," Todoroki requested. "Please."

"My family is from the Otherworld. There was this beautiful enchanted forest here called Melipus, ancient grounds. A lot of times we go to these forests for special festivities; opening the veil between worlds," Eva began. "When I was seven years old, during a festival celebrating the change from spring to summer, these villains came in and attacked us, they used iron, silver, flame throwers, and more." Todoroki gasped. "I lost my mom, a few family members, and a lot of people. The ancient grounds got completely destroyed; the Otherworld harmed. What once stood as a gorgeous forest is now a shopping center."

"What was your mother's name?" asked Todoroki.

" Eumelia; just like her name, she was a melody," answered Eva. "A year after that, Dad moved my brothers and I to town, we moved next door to the Midoriya's...My dad did not want us to swallow ourselves in hate. Ms. Midoriya was quick to step in to be a mom for me and my brothers, I am very grateful, Izuku has always been there to cheer me up."

"Has he always been helpful, Izuku Midoriya?" Todoroki asked. Eva nodded.

"Izuku is the kind of person you want to believe in you, without knowing it, he's always pushing people to become better versions of themselves," Eva explained. "You are no monster, Shoto Todoroki." She gently kissed his hand. Todoroki pulled her into a hug, tears fell onto her shoulder. "I forgive you, always will." Todoroki saw that he accidentally pulled off the bandage on her shoulder, he could see a burn on her shoulder blade. He saw that a section of her wing was even wrapped. He gently touched her wing, spreading some ice around it. 

"Woah," a voice breathed, Eva looked over to see a few students standing at the doorway. "Sorry, didn't mean to barge in on such a private moment."

"We just came to tell you that the field is finished being cleared," Shinso said as he looked away with a red face. "The next round is about to begin."

"We can give you two a few moments alone," Shiozaki said.

"Are you positive there isn't anything going on between you two?" Izuku asked as he turned a bright red."If so, I have her dad's opinion to beat you up!" He looked away nervously, Eva laughed lightly, she knew Todoroki was trying to get rid of any sign that he was crying. 

"Perhaps Present Mic was right, they are love birds," Tsu suspected.

"We aren't lovebirds!" Todoroki and Eva said at the same time as they parted. 

"That fight was amazing," Awase said as he popped into view. "You two will make a good fighting team. With Eva's speed to rescue, and fight, with your ice and fire, you'll be unstoppable."

"Who is the final four?" Eva asked.

"Todoroki, Iida, Bakugo, and Tokoyami," Kaminari answered. "We should get going to the stands, it's going to be epic!"

"Good luck, Todoroki," Eva said as she fluttered up, pulling him to his feet as well. "Thanks to you, I don't have to face Katuski." She then fluttered out of the room and they went up to the room. 

"Eva, you were insane," Izuku said. "How did you know what to do?"

"I learned from your fight along with the notes I took on Todoroki," Eva said. "Speaking of which."

"Updated," Izuku lit up. Eva looked back at the people, not from Class 1-A.

"They wanted to make sure you were alright," Tsu answered. 

"Shinso has told me about your quest to recruit me, I humbly accept," Shiozaki said. "I will vow to protect the forest and everything that lives within it."

"Thank you," Eva smiled at her. "You are amazing." Shiozaki looked away blushing. 

"How were you able to get away from Todoroki's ice so fast?" Awase asked.

"As a fairy, my senses are enhanced," Eva answered. "Each time he was activating his quirk, I was able to sense it through touch."

"Fairy senses," Shinso said. "I was thinking it was a quirk you didn't tell anyone about." Eva smiled lightly over at him. 

"Kacchan didn't give you a hard time, did he?" Izuku asked. "We saw him run out into the field."

"Not all," Eva said. "He gave me a few pointers on what I need to work on." They all sighed in relief.
