"So, what's wrong with you ? Why are you so quiet ? " Kalvin asked his big brother as they were playing billiards. After shopping with Cora for hours, he drove her to her sister's house, so they can have a sister time and since he hadn't had a family one just with his brother, he called him to know if he could pay him a visit and now here he was hanging with Kaldrick in his basement. 

They started the game about ten minutes ago and Kaldrick wasn't saying much. He was deep in his thoughts and there was a frown on his face that didn't want to disappear. Kalvin knew his brother like he had given birth to him and vice versa. They could never keep secrets away from each other.

Kaldrick sighed, "Amy and I got into a huge argument." He finally said and plopped on the couch.

Kal nodded his head slowly, "Okay...Why ? " 

His brother rolled his eyes, "About us. Since she came back, we never had the occasion to talk about our relationship and yesterday, I don't know, Mikayla was with mama and so we want to use this time being alone to talk and one word led to another one and then another and suddenly we were arguing. She started throwing all the shit I put her through in my face."

Kalvin hit the cue ball and then straightened up, "What happened next ? " He continued his interrogation. 

Kaldrick sighed once again, "She stormed out in the middle of our yelling. She was crying, her face was red and she punched me a few times. She was furious and I swear, if she didn't leave to calm down, she would've killed me. She hated me and I don't blame her for it." 

Kalvin shook his head, "She doesn't hate you. No, it's the total opposite. She loves you so much, she can't control it, she's in love with you no matter what you had done to her. And you should stop playing with her emotions and feelings like that." 

Kaldrick frowned more, "What do you mean ? "

His little brother snorted, "Oh please ! You're in love too. But, you're scared to admit it."

"And you can't admit your feelings for Cora ! " He snapped at him getting angry, "Why are you even talking ? You know nothing about love ! "

"Maybe, but I have eyes and I know you ! Just tell her ! Be happy with her. You two deserve happiness and you can't have it without the other. Her coming back is your second chance and only ! "

Kaldrick was not agree with his brother, "No...I will only hurt her. That's all I know to do with her."

"Well, try to change." 

"It's not that easy ! "

"Damn, stop raising your voice. I'm just trying to help you to see the situation with another perspective. And what's going on between Cora and I is none of your business." 

Kaldrick rolled his eyes and chuckled, "Of course it is."

"Yeah, but that's not me we're talking about. So, what are you gonna do with Amy ? Plus, there are not only you two in this, don't forget Mikayla." 

"I know. And I feel..." He trailed off starting at nothing in particular. Remorse began to mess with his mind. Again.

Kalvin noticed immediately his new demeanor, "Do you have something to confess ? " He asked completely stopping to play and then sat down next to his sibling.

Kaldrick had a huge weight that he was carrying on his shoulders for so long, he had to tell it to someone, but he was scared to be judged, "I...Uh...How to say it ? " He bit on his lips nervously, "I don't know how to say this."

"Kal, I'm your lil bro, it's okay. Whatever it is, I won't judge you and I will be there for you."

He nodded his head and took a deep breath getting ready to reveal it, "It's my fault and only mine..." For some reason he couldn't say more.

Kalvin was slightly confused, "What ? Your fault for what ? " He questioned hungry for more information.

"...Mikayla...It's my fault...it's my fault if I wasn't active in her life until now." He confessed looking down at his fingers, guilt written all over his face.

It took a little moment to Kalvin before to react to this, "What do you mean ? " Suddenly, it was making sense to him. But he didn't want to believe this, "Y-yo-you...You always knew about her, huh ? Why ? "

Kaldrick could feel the water coming into his eyes, "I wasn't ready. What was I supposed to do with a kid ? I was petrified when she told me and the only thing I thought to do and that was right to me...was to make her go away...Far away from me. I told her that...that..." He sighed, "...I'm a monster, a horrible person, a w-" He got cut off when Kalvin's fist met his jaw violently.

Kalvin couldn't believe that it was the truth. That's not how they had been raised. Their parents didn't raise them to do something like that, but then again education is not the only reason of a person's behavior. He didn't know what's got into his oldest brother's mind at this time and why did he think doing this was a good idea ? And what got Kalvin even more mad was the fact that Kaldrick hid this for four years and had never told him. He thought he knew his sibling. And when Amy came back, he acted like he was the victim while actually he was the one being selfish, stupid and cruel.

And what he couldn't understand more was Amy's love for his brother. What had he done to her ? At this point was it still love ?

"You motherfucker ! You're so wrong for that ! What the hell is wrong with you ? How could you do that to her and your OWN fucking child ?! And to us ?! Because of your selfishness, we missed four years of her life ! Four years ! Kaldrick, WHY ?! "

Him, was still shocked that his little brother dared to punch him in the face. And plus, he had any excuses. Four years ago, he was inconsiderate and made a big mistake. He couldn't change the past and his awful words, "What do you want me to say ? I'm sorry ? "

Kalvin suddenly felt like beating him down and make a lot of blood run out of his body, so he preferred to just leave.  He was disappointed and planned not to talk to his brother for awhile, not before to really calm down. Just when he thought that everything was back to normal.

But if only he knew.

Cora was laughing as her phone began to vibrate in her pocket. She wiped her tears and answered after verifying the caller ID, "Hey ! Wassup ? "

"Wassup ? Who are you and what have you done to my sista ? " 

Cora chuckled, "I'm just extremely happy. Well, why are you calling me for girl ? "

"I have something to tell you and Halley ! You won't believe me ! "

Cora frowned a bit, "What have you done this time ? Are you in jail ? "

"Damn, that pregnancy brain of yours ! I'm calling you from my phone, so how would I be in jail being able to do this, dummy ? "

"Yes, right. Well, not my fault though. When do you want to tell us ? " She asked and took a cheetos from the second packet Sancy gave her.

"Right now ! Where are you at ? "

"At Sancy's."

One hour after their phone conversation, Latoya and Halley were finally at Sancy's and the three were wondering what the crazy girl of the group had to tell them that she couldn't even waited one day after finding out.

Toya was so excited and couldn't stay still. She needed to move and couldn't stop. Earlier today, she had lunch with her father and there he brought her a little surprise. Actually, Toya met one of her multiple aunts that she didn't know about just yet. Her father had lost contact with his little sister after they finished high school and he recently found her thanks to Twitter. That, happened about three weeks ago and since then, the two were talking through the phone and now that they were ready to totally rebuild their relationship, they wanted to start fresh by letting their kids meet. When Latoya discovered her new cousin, she couldn't tell if she was still in real life or in a dream, but after a couple of minutes, she accepted the situation. Plus, it could be worse than that, but she was blessed once again.

"So, who is that cousin ? " Halley asked looking at her best friend.

"Guess."

"Toya, we don't have time for this. But it is Chris Brown ? " Sancy attempted, but she was wrong.

"Is he even famous ? " Cora asked and Latoya nodded her head.

Halley groaned, "Just tell us, please."

Latoya smiled, "Okay. Well...you know him and he's as crazy as me a-"

"Oh my God ! " Halley exclaimed as her eyes widened.

Toya nodded her head jumping, "It's Terry ! My cousin is Terry ! "
