White ran next to Blood as they herded the group of elk.It was the first herd to come into the valley since fall, it was going to be a feast.White was to prove that she was capable of being the Claw pack Alfa. Blood would let her without a doubt but the others wanted to see if she was worth it.

Suddenly White spotted a young female with a limp, White started to chase the cow with deadly speed.The whole pack followed, Blood at her heels.The cow tried to hide amongst the herd but could not keep up.

White was at its heels driving it toward the creek, the cow took the bait and ran into the water.White jumped onto its back and aimed for the throat.The pack was on the bank watching White struggle with the cow.The Cow despite her doom fought back, but White managed to get the neck and the cow fell to the ground.

Later after they had the elk dragged out from the creek the pack ate, but they backed away when White stepped forward.It meant that they welcomed her as the Alfa female, Blood licked her cheek and White rubbed his muzzle against his.Soon they had all ate the elk and went back to the den site.

The night was cold but White just curled up closer next to Blood and the others.Outside the Moon pack, ghost watched as one of the last few links of their pack set the future of the Moon pack.
