Vennela was combing her long hair facing the mirror. She was dressed up in an ivory saree with golden border having small random designs of peacock feathers on the pallu. Her dainty golden waist chain peeked through few exposed part of her waist.

Jai was watching his wife intently with a sharp smirk while working between in his laptop.

She later drew Kajal on her round shining eyes. Taking the nose pin off, she adorned her flawless nose with a nose ring instead which was obviously gifted by her husband recently.

Vennela took her vermilion box to apply sindoor.

"Ouch !! Ahh..!! Bava !🤨"
She turned around rubbing her bums.

"I've told you not to spank me like this. You just gave me a heart attack"

"And why would i obey what you have told me? Instead it encourages me to do it more. You know there is so much fun in doing what you ask me not to😝"

She glared at him.

"Will you get ready anytime now ? Or are you going to get into that laptop ?"

Vennela laughed hearing her husband's exaggerated talks.

He took a pinch of vermilion from the box and applied on her hair partition. She closed her eyes smiling.

She glared at him.

"Dare you!! I made them sleep with lots of effort🤨"

The eldest person (Manasa's peddanana) said.

Manasa came then wearing a red half saree with golden border and hugged Vennela from behind.

Vennela felt a little shy infront of them.

"He is in the room planning on how to wake up babies😆" Manasa giggled while Vennela sighed.

"You all look after babies when they cry also. Don't come after me. Bava is also planning to wake them up. God knows if he has already😒"

Everyone else laughed in the room.

"We know. They are so adorable❤️"

Lakshmi came getting ready, sitting on the couch joining the elders and exchanging their fond memories of their childhood and the memories regarding Hyderabad.

"It was anna who first took me here. To buy a silk skirt and top for Ugadi. I was too small and got lost in between the alley. Anna was so terrified"

"How can I not be ? You gave me a mini heart attack, Lakshmi"

"She always gives me attack on a daily basis asking me to take medicines and not eat any sweets😂" Her husband joked while others laughed.

"You think that's you only ?😂 She scolds me like I'm younger than her" Deva said.

"You both are coming back to village right ? I'll give you doses back there for this😏"

Vennela and Manasa bursted out laughing.

"Lakshmi, I'm with you in this. These elders won't even go to hospital for daily checkup and gets scared even seeing an injection. Can you believe ? These grown up men who terrifies the village is just a cat infront the doctors and nurses😒" Manasa's peddamma said.

"That's not true. We just hate the smell of hospital and medicines😁"

"Okay now you all don't fight. We will be back. Ok ?" Manasa took Vennela inside leaving the elders to talk.

"I hope they won't end up fighting"

"With mavaiyya around? He is the ultimate peacemaker🤭"

"That's my hope" Manasa said.

"Girl!! Who are you ? So beautiful you're, okay ?"  Manasa took some of the Kajal from her eyes and kept a dot behind Vennela's ears to ward off all the evil eyes making her blush.

"Ram also !! Everyone else is ready while these two are the last to get ready"

"I'll be there. Will feed them and after that let's go"

Vennela stood infront of Jai with hands on her hips, narrowing her eyes and frowning at her husband.

"Wasn't it you, bava ?🤨"

"They were sleeping peacefully. How would they wake up just like that ?😑"

"Hehe...I promise bangaruu it wasn't.. ayyoo.... God save me ...😵" he ran around the room while Vennela chased him behind.

"You attend them first bangaram...babies are crying...😗"

She stopped in her tracks and gave him one more glare and settled on the bed.

She adjusted her clothes are fed them.

As Jai tried to come closer, Vennela held her index finger in a "dare you come close, you're done". He passed an adorable pout mumbling a sorry.

Babies drank their tummy full of milk and finally started kicking their legs in the air as they laid on the bed.

"Awww....amma's little dongas...you both are so active now no?😘😘"

"I'm glad they just woke up at the right time😀"

Vennela gave another glare that pierced through his soul.

"Amma !! Don't give that death glare. I'm sorry.Babies looked so adorable to play😗 I just tickled their soles and kisses them there. My beard must have pricked them.

"What are you? A small baby to play ?🤨"

"Your baby😗" He gave a pout for which didn't go well as Vennela pinched his bums.

"Ahhh !! And you're being a mean girl now ?"

"You deserve it for waking up babies"

"Arey...they are laying peacefully now after having their energy drink. Wish I could get some too😗"

"Neeyabba!!!😳🤨🤭" She twisted his ear playfully while chuckling.

"It's not that they are okay now, babies will be cranky later"

"Don't worry bangaruu...I'll entertain them in the best way possible. And they will be really excited to taste their first solid food"

Vennela held his palm suddenly watching babies with love. Her eyes welled up.

"I'm having bittersweet feelings, bava. I delivered them just yesterday no. How did they get so big in a blink of time? And now it's their annaprashna🥹"

"I know right ...I remember the moments when the doctor placed them in my arms for the first time. They were so soft...they still are🥲🫠"

She kept her head on his chest looking at them.

"I don't want them to grow up. They are the cutest munchkins❤️"

"They will be even more handsome and gorgeous when they grow older, bangaruu😇"

"They are still our babies. Always❤️"

He wiped her tears, they took their babies and came to the living room joining everyone.
Ram had also gotten ready in a panche and shirt.

"Let's go everyone ?" Jai asked.

"Let's go...😇" everyone said in unison while babies were in their grandparents arms.

Jai and Vennela were seated criss-cross with babies in their arms.

A Ganapati Pooja was going on to remove any obstacles.

Later the Pandit told Jai to feed the milk payasam to their babies.

He adjusted rishu on his lap and took a bit of payasam from the banana leaf, mashed it and fed him.
The baby opened his mouth eagerly tasting the solid food for the first time. Everyone looked at the scene in happiness while Vennela and Jai had a certain emotion in them, knowing the milestones in their babies' lives.

Rishu was eager and lunged forward to the direction of banana leaf asking for more, making everyone chuckle. Vennela and Jai also chuckled eeing that.

"He liked it it seems☺️❤️" Lakshmi commented.

Jai nodded smiling and fed a little more payasam to the baby which he had eagerly.

Next he took ammu onto his lap and did the same while Rishu was taken by Vennela.

The baby girl also had it without any tantrums. Both of the babies took time to process that they were eating a new thing and it tasted delicious for them. It was the moment that looked so adorable when they understood that there are many more things tasty in the world apart from their amma's milk.

Both of them leaped towards the banana leaf ever ready to consume the whole payasam. Hadn't their parents stopped them, they would have actually ate the whole thing they thought.

Babies mv- these amma nana nuu gib ush mole payasham. (Amma nana didn't give us more payasam)

Babies' grandparents and Vennela-Jai's babai also fed a little bit as per the ritual.

Finally they were happy and went into Manasa's and Ram's arms.

Vennela and Jai prayed in the temple for the wellness of their whole family and everyone.

"Ladies...give me a space ...I'll shred the coconut for payasam 🥥"

"Bava.. you sit and talk with the elders no. Or look after babies"

"Nahh ...they are all enjoying their own way. I feel left out among all your husband's gang🥲" Jai complained.

Manasa, her aunts, Pallavi and Lakshmi laughed.

"Jai babu...here... you only shred this coconut...I've been doing this for a while now you only do it" Manasa's housemaid said.

"Of course. Thanks lord😀" He took the half coconut and shredded it.

Vennela giggled shaking her head.

"Where is Ram, then ?" Manasa asked.

"He is around babies. So I thought let him get the diaper attack atleast for few days😂"

Everyone laughed.

Vennela fed a piece in his mouth.

"Mmm...yes...so much ...who made it ?🤤"

"Peddamma..."

"Come on Vennu..it's nothing special☺️"

"It is. It does have some special taste. You've to give me recipe of this"

Together they talked and laughed while preparing a feast in unison.

They arranged the banana leaves on the table along with he dishes. It was  customary to make a feast after babies' annaprashna.

Jai and Vennela held babies while helping to serve everyone.

"Jai..Vennu...you both sit no" Everyone said.

"Yes..we will. First you all have"

Manasa and Ram planned to sit with them.

In a small banana leaf Vennela's mother took a little bit of rice, some curd on side along with two pieces of boiled potatoes of the sambar on a side to give babies.

Jai mashed the rice and potato finely with his fingers and mixed with some curd. Babies were already jumping in his arms to eat whatever that was on the table.

"Wait wait kanna... Nana will give you now😂😘"

He chuckled and fed his son first. He ate eagerly, jumping slightly in his arms again in excitement indicating that he loved it.

"Awww they really loved it😍" Others commented.

"They are such foodies. Went after bava🤭"

Vennela chuckled taking some rice mix from the same banana leaf and fed ammu which she also had eagerly.

The scrumptious meal was ended up with a tasty milk payasam.

Babies were already sleepy. So Vennela, Jai, Manasa and Ram had the meal together.

"This is so tasty, bangaram. The dishes from both the villages are amazing"

"True, Jai. I love it😍" Ram explained.

"Glad you both enjoyed it☺️"  Vennela smiled while putting some more rice on Jai's and Ram's banana leaves.

"Ayyo it was fine... my stomach would burst now" Ram said.

"Don't say that infront of wives. Whatever they give, we have to eat that" Jai sat like a good boy and started eating it without any complaint.

"Lol..😂 who is talking this ? Ram, in our house it's opposite. He serves me a lot of food saying it's good for your health. This is good for your hair, your bones etc etc. And there is no choice for me to complain here also"

"Tell that she is lucky to get me😚"

"Indeed😉" Manasa winked at Vennela making her blush a little.
