Georgia slips in through the front door, only opening it enough to squeeze inside. She closes it quietly behind her, clutching her books tightly to her chest. She glances around nervously before starting up the stairs.

GEORGIA'S FATHER enters from another room, a potbellied man dressed in stained clothing, spreading his arms wide and smiling.

Georgia slowly turns around, her body language closed off and tense. She manages a smile for her father.
