A group of rambunctious boys passes her. One unintentionally bumps her, causing her to flinch away. She continues sorting through her locker, looking rattled.

Georgia is walking quickly away from the building towards the parking lot. Alexis is parked in a car and looks up, smiling at her best friend's approach.

INT. ALEXIS' CAR

ALEXIS
Hey, girl!

GEORGIA
Hey.

ALEXIS
You will not believe how much homework my psych teacher gave me. I mean, she's insane!

Alexis begins ranting about her workload, but Georgia barely hears her. She is focused on Alexis' smile, the song pumping on the radio, the sun shining through the window as the truck pulls out of the parking lot and onto the road.
