"Mama." Bunny whispered as she tossed in her sleep, plush tightly clutched in her arms. She lied snuggled in her blanket, room being dimly lit by her nightlight. It had now been a few years since she had been brought back to life, what a wonderful time it's been. Though it was what she wished for, Alexia had always regretted wishing for her daughter back. The child had since healed up, but it did leave behind lots of scars that would stay with her for quite some time. Her skin never regained its natural color, always pale and dull compared to before the accident happened. Even her eyes never regained their natural color, always the dullest shade brown they could possibly be. Even so, she always managed to put on a smile. She never seemed to remember what happened, or at least she pretended that it didn't happen. Her eyes suddenly opened as thunder roared outside, rain beginning to fall. Her room was out up in a second, only to fall back into darkness as the flash of lightning faded away. Ears flattened, she let out a small whimper as the thunder roared louder than before. Sliding out of bed, she slipped on her socks as she approached her door.

"Please I'll do whatever you want!" Screamed the voice of her mother, causing the girl to freeze in place. Her hand frozen, inches away from the knob as she backed away. A scream echoed through the house as the sound of a gunshot went off, followed by silence. She felt her heart skip a beat as she waited for a sign that her mother was still alive. Seconds that felt like hours passed, yet still no sign but the silence that sent chills down her spine. She once again reached for the knob, slowly yet quietly turning it so the door opened. She was careful to not make a sound as she walked into the halls, crawling to the stairs. The room was dimly lit, only a small bit of light from the window giving her any sight. The living room was empty, no sign of her mother anywhere.

"Mama?" She quietly whispered as she went down the stairs, shaking as fear flowed through her body. Her ears twitched, yet no sound could be picked up. Another gunshot rang out as she screamed, falling to the floor as she clutched her leg. Tears streamed down her cheeks as blood began to stain the floor, oozing from a hole in her knee. Another rang through the house, followed by her screaming as more blood oozed from a hole in her side. She didn't understand, who was doing this? Why did they wanna kill her, and where was her mother?

"You should've just stayed dead." A voice said as the gun clicked, ready to end her life right then and there. The girl suddenly stumbled to her feet, adrenaline suddenly rushed through her body. She ran to the door as the gun went off, hitting the wall besides her. Opening the door, she ran as fast as she could down the dark and empty road. Her leg ached, but she didn't slow down for a second. She could hear gunshots echoing, she was being followed by whoever this person was.

"Bunny!" She slid to a stop as she saw headlights appear behind her, followed by the worried voice of her mother. The familiar blue car stopped and the door opened, her mother getting out the drivers seat. A wave of relief washed over her, the child limping to her mother's warm embrace.

"Mama someone broke into the house and I thought they hurt you but you're here and they hurt me and..." Her words became a mixed blur as her sentences began to mash together. She was talking way to fast to be understood, but the girl didn't seem to notice. Alexia shook her head, rubbing the girls back as she giggled. "I'm glad you're oka-..." Her sentence was cut off as a sharp pain shot through her back. Her eyes widened as she felt everything freeze, her body unable to move.

"You're not my daughter" Alexia whispered, pushing the knife deeper into the girls back. Bunny couldn't make a single sound, body racked with to much pain to do so. She could feel the blood dripping down her back as the knife was twisted, finally able to let out a scream. Or at least she tried before having her mouth covered, Alexia stabbing her again the the lung. She felt cold, her grip on her mother becoming limp as her vision blurred. Seeing this, Alexia pulled out her knife and picked the child up, walking over to the edge of the bridge. Below was a raging river, ready to take away anything that fell into it away. Alexia grinned, holding her dying child over the ledge. Bunny just felt weak, gasping for air as she glanced at her mother with tear filled eyes. " You're a mistake Bunny, never forget that." Tears fell as she was dropped into the raging waters below, blood staining the water with its red color.

"It's okay Bunny, I'm still here with you. " She faintly heard through the sound of water rushing, vision slowly going darker and darker. Through squinted eyes she could see the stars, sparkling above the waters surface as the moon could be seen. They seemed closer, almost as if she could reach out an touch them. Then, she heard a music box playing.....the same one she had gotten at that pizzarea. It was soothing, making her feel numb as her eyes shut more and more. Exhaling one last breath, she went limb as the girl fell into an eternal slumber.

Do not fear the blood
Just close your eyes and dream away
It's okay Bunny
Tomorrow is a golden day.
