"Really?!" Azi reacted immediately with what he heard. "Where? I'm actually waiting for her and---,"

"She's with Katarina. Kanina pa ako nanonood sa tumpok ng mga tao na nandito." Itinuro niya ang ventilator kung saan siya nakaupo kanina. "Katarina told Beal to follow her because they are going to see you. Kaya nga nagtaka ako nang makita kang lumabas ilang minuto lang pagkatapos nilang umalis."

Nakaramdam ng pagkalito si Azi sa mga sinabi ni Kimberley. As far as he can remember, the meeting spot they both agreed is here, so where the hell did Katarina bring Beal?

Huminto naman sa paghagikgik si Kimberley at seryosong tiningnan ang lalaki. "Katarina is the granddaughter of Dr. James Nyasaaa, the one who built the Nyasaaa Corporation."

Kimberley just realized it now. Katarina Narvaza, Katarina Nyasaaa. Bakit hindi niya 'yun napansin dati? It could be just coincidence that their last names are rhyming.

But, her knowledge about the Nyasaaa can prove that she is really part of this corporation.

After saying that thing, a man came out from the tunnel of Base 1. Napalingon si Azi at Kimberley doon. Hindi naalis ang ngisi sa labi ni Kimberley, samantalang bakas pa rin ang gulo sa pagmumukha ni Azi.

Mula sa pagiging anino sa likod ng dilim, unti-unting lumabas ang anyo ni Rehan. He is still on his usual cloak and his smirk. Ang mga mata nitong maitim ay kaagad na dumapo sa dalawa pang entity na nilikha ng Nyasaaa.

"Kumusta ang pagtakbo, Rehan?" Nakakaasar na tumawa si Kimberley na siya namang ikinainis ni Rehan. "Was it fun running away from your supposed-to-be death?"

"Shut up." Ngumiti lang si Kimberley dahil sa reaksyon ng lalaki. "You'll regret your decision of not becoming one of us."

"I already regretted many things, Rehan, what more could scare me? Are you telling me to be scared of you?"

This time, Rehan flashed a wicked smirk. Umayos ito ng tayo saka bahagyang tumawa kaya si Kimberley naman ang naguluhan, pero pinanatili niya ang kaniyang postura at ekspresyon.

"Have you already forgotten that there are four of us mutated entity, Kimberley?" The girl started feeling the heavy emotion she thought she'll never feel again.

"I am not going to tell you to be scared of me, Kimberley. Because you, and your friend," Rehan eyed Azi who is also eyeing him. "will feel that emotion right now."
