Chapter 7
Quidditch had finally arrived, today was the first game of the season, Gryffindor vs Slytherin. Myla was now in cheer uniform, she was standing in the mirror staring at herself. She wore a full red and gold pleat skirt and an old-school sweater. The sweater was all red, with gold stitching, there was a G on th front and the symbol of a Griffin on the back. She wore white shoes and high-knee socks. She wore her hair in two low pigtails, on the ground were red and gold pom poms.
"Myla," a voice sounded, her eyes moved till she saw the reflection of Halle. "Dumbledore wants to see you in his office."
"Thank you," Myla responded. She grabbed the paperwork and her pom poms. When Myla got to the office there were a few other people including Professor Snape.
"Mr. Hinz," Myla greeted.
"Ms. Weasley," Mr. Hinz greeted looking at her. "Last time we met, I was part of the group for your stealing news story."
"As it be, that is not what this meeting is about Gary," Dumbledore said.
"Sticking fingers Weasley, turning a new leaf," Mr. Hinz said as he waved his wand, parchment, and quill appeared. "Dolores is going to have a fit with this news story, Rita's going to be so jealous I was assigned this story and not her, I've never been so happy in my life." For the next hour, Myla was questioned about her time at Hogwarts, and Warming Potion. She had to get her picture taken with Dumbledore and Snape.
After Myla made her way into Great Hall, she saw that Harry was staring at his food. "Staring at it isn't going to make it go in your stomach." They all looked at her.
"Harry is refusing to eat," Hermione revealed. "Not even toast."
"Tell him, Myla," Ron insisted as Myla sat next to him. "He needs strength for quidditch."
"I just don't think I can stomach anything," Harry confessed as he looked back at the table.
"Good luck today, Potter," Snape wished, they all looked to see Snape standing behind Harry. "Then again, now that you've proven yourself against a troll, a little game of Quidditch should be easy work for you...even if it is against Slytherin." He looked at all of them before limping off.
"What's up with his leg?" Myla asked.
"It explains the blood," Harry answered.
"Blood?" Hermione asked as they all looked at him.
"Listen," Harry began. "Last night, I'm guessing Snape let the troll in as a diversion so he could try and get passed that 3-headed dog. But he's gotten himself bitten, that's why he's limping. "
"But why would anyone go near that dog?" Hermione asked. Harry told her about the secret item out of the vault.
"So you're saying," Hermione gathered.
"That's what the dog's guarding," Harry confirmed. "That's what Snape wants."
"It's something, valuable and dangerous," Myla added.
"And you didn't steal it, yet?" Hermione asked with a smile.
"If a three-headed dog is guarding it, I'm going to need to do more research," Myla answered with a smile.

It was now time for quidditch, Myla was standing at the entrance for Gryffindor with the other cheerleaders. They stood on the edges, waiting for the signal.
"Hold it in Seika," Halle advised.
"I didn't think we'd actually get this far," Seika admitted. "What if I mess up? What if we make things worse?"
"Seika, just feel the moment you are in," Alma advised. "Stop worrying and just cheer." They heard a knock on the other side of the door.
"It's time," Lorenzo informed. "Get in formation." They all lined up, six across six. "GRYFFINDORS UNITE!" The crowd started to cheer.
" G-R-Y-F-F-I-N-D-O-R" The Gryffindor cheer team spelled out, the door opened and the quidditch players flew; everyone started to cheer more. As the Gryffindors flew around to show off, the cheer team went up a set of stands. They were divided 6 by 6. Lorenzo, Myla, Halle, Seika, Otis, and Darlene cheered by where Ron was sitting. Ajax, Alma, Benedict, Phong, and Stu cheered on the other side. The stands were placed just right in front of the other stands, the cheerleaders all stood on a platform.
"Hello, and welcome to Hogwart's first Quidditch game of the season," commentator Lee Jorn greeted. "Today's game; Slytherin vs Gryffindor!" People cheered. Everyone watched Madam Hooch walk into the middle. "The players take their positions as Madam Hooch steps out onto the field to begin the game!"
"Now I want a nice clean game..." Madam Hooch ordered. "From all of you." Her eyes fell onto Marcus Flint of the Quidditch team. The box opened; many balls flew in the air. "The bludgers are up...followed by the golden snitch. Remember, the snitch is worth 150 points. The seeker who catches the snitch ends the game." Madam Hooch stared at everyone before tossing up the quaffle. "The Quaffle is released...and the game begins!" Everyone cheered as Gryffindor was first to grab the ball.
"We got nerve yes we do! We got nerve, how about you!" the Gryffindor cheerleaders chanted.
"And the quaffle is taken immediately by Angelina Johnson of Gryffindor-what an excellent Chaser that girlr is, and rather attractive, too--"
"JORDAN!" Everyone was intensely watching the game; as well as joining in the cheers from the newest addition to Hogwarts.
"ANGELINA JOHNSON SCORES!" Lee Jordan cheered along with everyone else. " 10 POINTS FOR GRYFFINDOR!"
"HEY, HEY, ARE YOU READY?" Lorenzo shouted, the cheerleaders doubled clapped.
"ARE YOU READY?" Darlene clapped; they doubled clapped again.
"TO PLAY!" Lorenzo shouted, a single clap.
"SAY GO TEAM GO!" Darlene shouted; they pointed to the stands.
"GO TEAM GO!" the cheerleaders cheered with a double clap.
"GRIFFINS ALL THE WAY!" the whole team shouted. Hermione and Lavender Brown stood up happily, clapping for the cheerleaders, along with a few others.
"Slytherin takes possession of the quaffle," Lee commentated. "Bletchly passes to Captain Marcus Flint." They watched Flint throw, but Wood was quick to block it.
"NICE BLOCK KEEPER!" The cheerleaders shouted; they all simultaneously did a back flip.
"WOAH!" Ron, Neville, Hermione, and Lavdener all cheered happily.
"Never knew Myla could do something like that," Ron admitted. "Wicked."
"You should apologize for teasing her for starting a cheer team," Hermione advised.
"Over my dead body," Ron quickly denied making Hagrid choke. Everyone watched as players swevered around the satdns, passing the ball to each other; the quaffle soared through the hoop.
"ANOTHER 10 POINTS TO GRYFFINDOR"
"GO GRIFFINS GO!" they shouted; as they got into a new formation. Slytherin took another attempt at scoring, but another failed attempt. Marcus Flint roughly took a bat from a beater in his own team, then purposely aimed a bludger at Oliver, taking him out. Everyone watched as Oliver Wood fell face first into the sand.
"BOOOOO!" Most of the students sounded.
"Foul!" Lorenzo yelled as he pounded on the stands behind him.
"They are playing dirty again!" Darlene shouted as the Slytherin team took out a Katie Bell.
"HEY, HEY, ITS TIME TO FIGHT!" Myla shouted.
"EVERYBODY YELL RED AND GOLD!" Halle shouted.
"RED!" Seika shouted, then pointed at the crowd.
"GOLD!"
"RED!"
"GOLD!"
Slytherin kept scoring, after playing dirty. The game continued on, Myla watched Harry dive off, she started to clap her pom poms together rapidly.
"What's going on?" Seika asked.
"From the looks of it, Potter is on to the snitch," Myla answered.
"Catch that...Harry's going to be in the high heavens for years," Halle said. "Or not." They all watched as Harry's broom started to go crazy. "As if the broom wants the rider off."
"Brooms can act spratic," Myla said. "But the way the broom's moving, looks like a jinx." Halle and Seika looked at her. "
"HANG ON, HARRY!" The cheer team shouted as the the broom was getting more violent. Halle, Seika, and Myla held on to each other jumping up and down once Harry got back on his broom and took off. They heard a cough, looked over to see Lorenzo staring at them.
"Are you three going to react like that or can we call cheer?" Lorenzo asked with raised eyebrows.
"All," Seika answered. They did a cheer from earlier, this time the crowd responded making the spirits of the fans rise. Harry kept fighting with Terrence Higgs the Slytherin keeper; they were neck and neck chasing after their prize. They two flew straight down, the crowd got on the edge of their seat as Terrnce pulled away, and Harry curved right before hitting the ground.
"Remarkable!" Seika gasped with stars in his eyes. "Harry is truly gifted with his basketball game."
"Quidditch," Otis corrected.
"Quidditch," Seika repeated as Harry stood on his broom. Harry fell to the ground, rolled before getting back on his feet.
"Is he going to puke?" Otis asked.
"In front of the whole school as well," Darlene added. A small gold ball flew out of Pottter's mouth and into his hands.
"HE'S GOT THE SNITCH!" Lee cheered. " HARRY POTTER RECIEVES 150 POINTS FOR CATCHING THE SNITCH!"
Madam Pomfrey flew around the stadium blowing her whistel. "GRYFFINDOR WINS!" Everyone erupted into chees.
"Ready, Griffins?" Lorenzo asked as he got into position putting his hands on his hips.
"Ready!" Everyone responded.
"MIGHTY MIGHT GRYFFINDORS" They started to move around.
"GODRIC GRYFFINDOR" They started to lift people up.
"WE ARE THE HOUSE OF RED AND GOLD! USING OUR WANDS AS SWORDS! TRUE TO OUR HEARTS WE WILL BE BRAVE AND DARING!"
"G-R-Y-F-F-I-N-D-O-R-"
"GRYFFINDOR!" the crowd cheered; they cheered louder as they flyers got thrown into eh air, they spun before landing in other girls arms. After the game, Myla had left the cheer changing room to find Harry waiting outside,
"You did amazing Harry!" Myla exclaimed as he pulled Harry into a hug. "You were properly brilliant!"
"I couldn't have done it without the cheer team," Harry said as he pulled back, his cheeks were red. "Without your cheering, I may not have found the courage to get back on the broom."
"Sure you would have," Myla laughed as they started to walk. "You are in Gryffindor for a reason." Soon they were walking to Hagrid's place tea, Myla was still in her cheer uniform. "Harry, about your broom earlier."
"I honestly have no idea why it was acting like that," Harry admitted.
"Most likely a jinx," Myla said.
"It was Snape," Ron blurted out. "Hermioen and I saw him cursing your broomstick, muttering, he wouldn't take his eyes off you."
"Rubish," grumbled Hagrid. "Why would Snape put a curse on Harry's broom?"
"Why was he trying to get past that three-headed dog on Halloween?" Harry asked.
"Who told you about Fluffy?" Hagrid demanded.
"Fluffy?" Ron laughed.
"That thing has a name?" Hermione asked.
"Well, of course he'd got a name, he's mine," Hagrid confirmed. "I bought him off an Irish feller I met down at the pub last year. Then I let Dumbledore guard the..."
'Yes?" Myla asked,
"Shouldn't have said that," Hagrid gulped. "No more questions. Don't ask anymore questions! That's top secret that is."
"But Hagrid, whatever Fluffy's guarding, Snape's trying to steal it," Harry revealed.
"Codswallop!" Hagrid gruffed as the five came to a stop. "Professor Snape is a Hogwarts teacher."
"Hogwarts teacher or not, I know a jinx when I see one," Hermione said, "I've read all about them, you've got to keep eye contact, and Snape wasn't blinking."
"I've seen many jinxes happen when I'm in knockturn alley," Myla added. "Whatever was happening to Harry's broom was absolutely a jinx."
"Mum says its forbidden for us to go down there," Ron said as he looked at her.
"Hush," Myla ordered; putting a hand over his mouth.
"Now you listen to me, all four of you," Hagrid ordered; he pointed at them. "You're meddling in things that ought not be meddled in. It's dangerous. What that dog is guarding is strictly between Professor Dumbledore and Nicholas Flamel."
"Nicholas Flamel?" Harry repeated.
"I shouldn't have said that," Hagrid groaned as he walked away.

Owls were dropping mail everywhere in a hot fashion, Myla couldn't help but notice the stairs from the other students.
"It feels good to be on the other side of the paper," Myla admitted as she walked with Halle and Seika.
"Almost erases your mugshots from all those years ago," Halle said as she flipped the page. "Your mom will definitely pin this in the house."
"Defintely a clean start," Seiak added.
"Mr. Hinz called it turning a new leaf," Myla answered. "Though I don't think it's completely turned as he thinks." Myla revealed a pair of sunglasses. "Spectators bring in a lot items." Seika and Halle looked at each other.
"They are just sunglasses," Seika said. "What's so great about the pair you stole?"
"The quality of the lens," Myla answered as they turned the corner, the other Weasley twins were talking to Lee Jordan; they started to walk over.
"See you later," halle said as her and Seika took a different path.
"Always knew you were a genius," George said with a smile as he held up the paper. "Just didn't think you'd peak till third year."
"How was Snape's reaction?" Fred asked. "Did he melt into a puddle that this wasn't a Slytherin?"
"That it wasn't Drakey-Poo," Myla answered, the other two laughed. "Now, I will be heading to the library, got research and homework to do."
"More potions to invent?" George asked. "Hasn't even been a day since you made the paper."
"Three-headed dogs," Myla answered. "Seika was reading about Cerebus...and it got me curious."
"Another invention" the twins stated before walking away.

The next few weeks was filled with research, studying, quidditch, and cheer. Myla was currently sitting in the quidditch stands, she was getting homework with Neville; she was helping him with Defense Against Dark Arts.
"Mimi," Neville began. "How are you keeping up with school?"
"Whatever do you mean?" Myla asked as she made a mark.
Neville stared at his hands. "You are always so busy; but you stay at the top of the class."
"I'm not two places at once," Myla denied. "If that is what you are implying." Neville looked at her. "I have five brothers and one sister, I've learned to be everywhere at once." Neville nodded. "If you could, would you be duplicate?"
"No," Neville quickly denied as he picked up his quill. "One of me is already emouhj trouble, another will just cause mas destruction. There would be less damage if I wasn't born."
"Don't say that," Myla denied. "Don't say stuff like that."
"It's true," Neville gloomed. "All I ever do is mess up."
"I for one will be much lonelier in life if you weren't in it," Myla said, Neville looked at her. "I mean it." Myla looked at him. "I think duplicating would be cool; you get more done.
"Uh, what is gytrash suppose to resemble again?" Neville asked.
"Dog-like," Myla answered. "It falls int eh castergory of beats and spirit."
"I sure would be lost without you," Neville smiled a little asked he filled out the answers. After this studying session; Myla found herself walking into the library, she was carefully looking at the books.
"You've been in here for hours," Madam Pince as she hovered behind Myla. "Library is closed."
"Do have a book on spiritual energy, souls, or auras?" Myla asked. "I want more research before picking up a new hobby."
"Last week you read a book about a three headed dog for two days street," Madam Pince said. "This week auras." She disappeared in the dark, before returning with another book. "Now get out."
"Yes, ma'am," Myla smiled as she took the book. "I appreciate your help, Madam Pince."
By the time Myla got back to the common room, everype had cleared out, even the fire was dimming down for the night, she alked up to her dorm to find all the girls asleep; including her roommates. Halle was holding onto her pillow, while Seika was cureled up, only her head stuck out. Myla changed into her night clothes, and grabbed a notepad before climbing into bed. She closed her bed curtains, one was left open a crack to let the moonlight in. Nevile got her thinking about duplicates, and now she wanted to push it.
