Clemont's been captured. Those words hit me hard, like I'd been punched in the stomach. For a moment I forgot to breathe. A deadly silence spread across the room, until Iris broke it with a loud, "WHAT?!?!?!?"

Serena nodded grimly. "Korrina...I think you'd better come with me."

"What happened?!?!" I yelled, once we'd gotten into her study. "Tell me everything."'

"Well, we don't really know much, but I think he went out, and then some Team Forever grunts grabbed him and left. I don't even know how they saw through his disguise. Even I couldn't recognise him!" Said Serena.

"What do you mean, you don't know much?!" I said. "The only reason I came here all the way from Shalour and leave my family and Lucario and the gym at risk was because- because-" Because I felt I had to. But then, Clemont had asked me to come as well...

"-Because he told me to! He was going to tell me something important!" At least that part was true.

Serena sighed. "You told me to tell you everything, and I told you everything. You're not the only one worried. I hoped that Dawn's disappearance would be the last since May and- and- Ash..." At this she looked as if she could cry. "But for the world, I continued like I always did."

Normally, I would have felt sorry for her and made her hot chocolate. But this wasn't normal.

"Too bad, Serena!" I yelled, probably louder than I meant to, but I didn't care. "I bet you never looked for Ash when he was captured! Even if he is your long-time crush, I bet you didn't care, miss-I'm-neglecting-my-crush-and-best-friend-for-the-sake-of-the-world-like-the-world-needs-you-anyway!"

"Korrina-"

"You know what?" I stared into her face. "Since you don't care, how about you just forget about it?!?! He was- He was the only one who ever cared, and now...he's...gone..."

Surprisingly, tears sprang into my eyes. It takes a lot to make a fighting-type gym leader cry, but he could make me do it in the blink of an eye.

Serena tried to put her arm round me, but I wasn't going to admit I needed it. I pushed her off. I'm done with this place.

I ran out of the room, and I didn't look back.
