You took a plate of breakfast outside after, thanking Tsunami for the meal as you walked outside. You walked over towards the forest, you chuckled at the orange lump on the ground.

Naruto had overworked himself yet again. You had realized lon ago that that was what you had always admired about the spikey blond.

You were about to wake naruto so he could eat his third plate of breakfast but, you heard a rustle in the bushes.

You turned quickly with a kunai in hand as you came in front of naruto's exhausted form. You scanned the tree's looking for the person or creature that had come upon you and your teammate.

You relaxed a little as you noticed a young female looking male emerge from the tree's with a basket halfway filled with herbs.

You saw him smile warmly at you "hello".

You relaxed your stance and put away your weapon before saying with a small wave "hi. I'm sorry hust a little...".

He interrupted with a raised eyebrow "protective?"

You smiled and laughed nervously "i guess so".

The male nodded and then started looking around "excuse me but, i am just looking around for a few herbs. I'll be out of your way in a moment".

You shook your head "oh no it's fine. But, if you'd like i could help you with your search. I'm training to become a medic. I'm sure I'll be able to help you" you offered kindly.

The male seemed surprised but nodded and said "its a common herb called yarrow. I'm sure you must have heard of it".

You thought for a moment and looked at the basket of herbs "your treating wounds? Is someone hurt? I can help, i may still be in training but, I've learned to replace tissue and restore the blood vessels".

The male was still shocked at the young girl in front of him. Not only had she offered her assistance in his work but, also had offered medical attention to a stranger.

The male then shook his head with a soft smile "you are very kind. But, the injuries are minor and only need time to heal. I thank you for the generous offer however".

You nodded and then started looking around "ok now let's find that herb!"

You dove into the bushes already grabbing a few herbs. The male held back a smirk "at this rate I'll be done in minutes".

In a few, you came back with two arm fulls of herbs that filled his basket.

He smiled "i owe you a great deal. This would have taken much longer. Thank you, young kunoichi".

You shook your head and stuck out your hand "don't say that. We are friends now. My name is (y/n)."

His eye's widened 'she's giving me her friendship. But, s-she hardly knows me. And...I've never...had a friend before'.

He beamed at you and shook your hand giving a closed eyed smile "Haku" he stated.

He didn't think just the touch of your hand would send him into a blushing mess. He saw your happy smile and your giggle as he excepted your friendship.

He held back his massive blush and picked up his basket and held it in front of his red face "i-i thank you (y-y/n)-Chan but, i must take my leave now".

You nodded understanding and yelled at his disappearing form "goodbye haku-kun!"

Haku's face heated up as red as a tomato hearing you yell his name 'oh what has she done to me?!' He asked himself hiding his face in the mountain of herbs.
