Chapter Seven: Nightmare Turns Into A Horrifying Reality

Kyoko and Yui had ended up spilling the beans on their childhood lives.

However they had to eventually leave. As the sun was going to set soon.

They packed up the picnic that they had brought. Yui had placed the food inside the basket, while Kyoko was folding the red and white checkered blanket neatly.

As soon as Kyoko was done, she had placed the neat blanket inside the basket.

Yui was carrying the light basket in her right, right hand.

Together they walked through the dark forest. Stepping on the usual. Acorns; leaves; nuts; a few liters were here and there.

The tall trees made tall dark shadows and the whole place was quite. You can only hear the tooting and hooting noises that the owls had made.

The two had finally reached the large Sakamaki Mansion.

Silently they walked into the stone walkway and the large black metal gates opened with a loud squeak. A loud annoying squeak.

"Yui remind me that I should oil those gates very soon." Kyoko muttered in Yui's direction.

Yui gave a solid nod. Her small voice, "I sure will. But doesn't Reiji-?"

Kyoko frowned.

"Technically he only tends to his room and the mansion sometimes. Outside is a -3% chance he'll actually do it..."

Yui nodded.

"Oh..."

Once that was over an awkward silence was what echoed in the air. Silently...

Yui had reached for the door knob but Ayato opened it as quick as a normal person meaning a human to eat a meal when they haven't eaten in forever.

Laito came up right behind Ayato.

"Bitch-chan... Laito doesn't approve. You left without my permission." He stated.

"Oi! Chichinashi's mine Laito! Get away! But sadly.. terrible news..." Ayato had scolded. The last sentence was much more quieter than a mumble.

At this Kyoko actually whipped her head around to listen to the conversation.

The word: "bad news..." had hit her brain hard. Being the curious girl she was she wanted to know wha6176342188t news would be bad enough to make the mansion quiet like no one was there.

What news would be so horrible that even Ayato... Ayato wouldn't be instresed in drinking Yui's blood. Yui's blood! That's what he wanted everyday.

The news must be pretty bad that even they can't think straight.

They entered the quiet mansion slowly.

Yet, they were met with large craters on the walls. Subaru punching more craters inti the walls screaming "WHY IN HELL??!?!?!!"

Reiji was actually ripping... no shredding a book into pieces so small that sand be put to shame.

Kanato was screaming and crying. Hugging Teddy like his life meant it.

Shu.... was actually awake and fidgeting with his fingers.

Laito's fedora was straight out on the floor.

Now Reiji was trying to fix the craters.

"WHAT IN BLOODY BEATRIX IS GOING ON HERE?!?!?!?!" Kyoko yelled.

Now that was bad.

When she says Bloody Beatrix or Bloody Christa run... Bloody Cordelia.... that'll be explained later.

Everyone stopped.

They stared at her.

Reiji sighed.

Jiw he was apparently finished fixing about 50 craters. Yet he finished in less than 10 minutes.

"Kyoko here." Reiji sighed and handed her a letter.

"What's going on?" Yui asked but only Kyoko bothered to answer.

"I don't know Yui.... I don't know. I do know that... it'll be pretty bad..."

Slowly she took out the letter and read it silently.

Kyoko, Shu, Subaru, Reiji, Kanato, Laito, Ayato,

Since Cross Academy is going to be rebuilt the students from Night Class and this little committee they have will be currently staying at the mansion.

I'm sorry Kyoko but I need to say sorry. I had no choice but to accept. You know me don't you?

Kyoko wanted to punch the wall 500 times.

She wanted to tear the paper into shreds so small you won't see them.

She wanted to burn down the tree outside.

But all she could manage was run into Christa's tower in the garden.

They didn't know.

A spell that locked her smell and the tower was strong.

"It's nightmare... but it's seemed so real... it's a nightmare that turned into a bad reality... scary reality..."
