Meera's POV

I tried..I tried..but I failed !
Taking life I not an easy task...but when your self respect is on stake..either fight for it..or it you can't fight then don't let the other one win too !!

If I lost..I didn't let him win too.
I saved myself from him.

But I'm alive!!

I don't know what happened after I cut my wrist. I thought that's my last breath...but he saved me.
Why did he even save me..

Oh how can I forget that this heartless monster is hungry of just one thing!!!
That's the reason he saved me.

My hand was aching so badly that I couldn't even express.
I was feeling extremely weak and tired.
I opened my eyes when I saw him looking at me as if he has found his everything.

But no. I'll not come in his any of the traps!!!
He said me sorry so many times. But the hell I care!! Did you cared for me? No..then why should I !!!

But what surprised me was his look. His always gelled hairs were all shabby .
His crisp white shirt was all rugged and it had blood spots on it.
Offcourse my blood !!
But he touched me!!
His touch disgust me !!! He disgust me !!!

His eyes were puffy and red.
Did he cry ?

But why would he !!
Because the hell he cares about me whether I die or live!! Then why did he cry! .

I'm just done with his shit. I'm alive that's my bad... But I won't live with him.

Naina and Advik also came and I cried hugging Naina. I said her that I don't want to live with this man but still he's that stubborn man. He said me that I'll not leave this place but I'm not a bird to be caged Abeer Malhotra. I'll go and I will surely!!!

He tried saying me sorry many times but his sorry want repair the damaged!!!

"I hate you Abeer Malhotra and I don't want to listen anything what you want to say. You know what..you're a selfish man and today I'm thinking that why even I married you. Uncle said me to think and take decision but no I dis it seeing aunty crying..and you know what even if today aunty will come to know she'll break. But she'll understand this. My self respect is everything for me and I hate when it gets hurt. I thought you're changing but I was so wrong. And you wanted to here this only right. You said me na that you'll make me regret marrying you. Congratulations Abeer Malhotra you won. You made me regret my decision. You made me regret marrying you" I accused wiping my tear and he looked at me

"Don't say like this Meera please. I'm sorry. I'm really sorry Meera." He Said but I denied

"Your sorry won't make everything alright" I told

"It will. I will make everything alright. I'll tell mom and dad too about what crime I did today but please.. please don't say like this."he said and I looked away

Is he mad or what. He want to tell mom all this all of a sudden. She'll get a shock and I know she can't take that. No ! I'll not tell her anything !!

"I know you don't care about anything but please don't tell mom anything right now. She'll break apart. I'll tell her myself slowly" I said

He must be shocked that why I lied to doctor. The reason is very simple.
I don't break promises!!

And I promised him that police won't ever come in this mansion because of me...and.... I don't want him to go jail and ruin Malhotra's reputation which is uncle's everything. For which I married this monster !!!
After some time Naina and Advik too came in.

"Hey Meera how are you feeling" asked Advik

Much bad by living !! Why I was saved!!

"I'm okay" I replied

"Meera you'll come with me to my home" Naina said

"She'll not go anywhere and I hate to repeat" Abeer replied her and I looked at them.

Never with you now Abeer Malhotra!!

"I'm okay here only because I'm here for very less time now" I said and he looked at me shocked

"What..what do you mean by this" he asked and I looked at Advik

The only person who can help me right now!

"Advik will you do one favor to me please" I asked and Advik looked at Abeer.

"Em..yeah...say" he said

"I want divorce. Will you prepare divorce papers for me" I told and he looked at me shocked!!!

"What did you say right now" Abeer asked

"I want divorce Abeer Malhotra" I told

"Meera...do you even know what are you saying. You are my wife and you'll be forever. Even you can't change that." He said and I looked at him

"Did you thought all this before forcing your so called wife" I asked

"Meera..please I'm saying sorry to you . I told you before too. I wasn't going to! I know I committed a very huge mistake but please don't do this to me please" he whispered and I looked away.

"Advik will you please do it for me" I asked looking at Advik

"Meera..don't take any decision in haste. Think this through" Advik told

"I've thought very nicely. And if you can't do then tell me I'll ask another lawyer.. " I said and he looked at Abeer

"Meera..this decision must be mutual otherwise he can also heir a lawyer for saving this marriage " he told and I looked at him.

"I just want divorce" I said again and he looked at me

"And I'll never give that. Put that in your head" he snapped and I looked at him

"You'll not decide that." I snapped back

"Neither you alone can decide this Meera" said Advik and I looked at him shocked.

"Advik. What're you saying" asked Naina

"I'm sorry but this is true. Only Meera can't decide this. If this is a mutual decision then divorce can take place instantly but as I can see this can never be a mutual one..you alone can't decide everything Meera. Legal procedures takes time" said Advik and I looked at him.

"I'll wait for the day to come but I'll surely end this so called marriage" I told firmly

"Don't say like this Meera" Abeer begged and I smiled painfully while tears were ready to come anytime.

"I'm talking in your language only Abeer Malhotra. The language which you understand" I snapped and he sighed

"Talk with each other and think before you take any decision." Said Advik putting his hand on my head and Naina looked at me.

"Decision is for lifetime. Think nicely! " she told and wiped my tears

Why can't he be like them.
Oh about whom I'm even talking. The one who can't even be a human!!!

"Take care of her" said Advik tapping Abeer's shoulders .

After they went away Abeer looked at me while I don't even want to talk with him.

I looked at my surroundings. That's not my bed..that's not my room.
And then I realised where I'm !!

His room. When he forcefully pushed me here.

I want to go away from here!!!!

I tried standing up as I want to go away from him !!
But I failed and was about to trip!

"Meera..what're you doing" he said holding me and I pulled myself back from him

"Don't... Don't even try touching me" I shouted

"Okay fine. Relax. But please sit here" he told and I sat on bed.

"Why are you faking Abeer Malhotra. You don't need to. I've seen what you're" I said

But does his eyes look like that.
See them Meera.

There's just concern. No fakeness !!

But don't let yourself flow in that Meera. They are betraying. They betrayed you .

" I want to go to my room" I stated

"You'll be here only till you recover fully" he told

"And you think I'll live with you. Not at all" I shouted

"Don't shout Meera...and listen you'll be here only. Even if you like or not" he said

"You can't control me Mr.Abeer Malhotra" I yelled

"I'll not let you do anything and will not let you go away from my eyes till you're all fit and fine. Understand that..and that's not controlling Mrs.Meera Abeer Malhotra" he said pressing the last words and I looked shocked at him.

Why this stomach quirks when my full name is taken and that too by him!!

When this should not happen at all.

"I'll not share bed with you at all understand that. Better let me go to my room" I said

"Meera...I said I'll not let you go away from this room. This doesn't mean sharing bed. You'll be here only and I'll gladly take that " he told pointing the couch and I looked at him

He denied to take couch in India!!

And here he says he'll gladly do that!! What does he even want to show me !

"No no Mr.Abeer Malhotra ! You don't need to do anything for me" I said joining my hands.

"I'm doing this for my wife" he replied and I looked at him shocked

Wife!! No more !! I want to go away from you !!!

"I want divorce" I whispered

"Meera. Don't say like that. I'll not give you any divorce to you understand that" He stated

And he thinks I'll take that!!!!
But, If you'll then the world will come to know this Meera.
What about aunty and uncle!!

But how can I live with him. I cannot!!!
But what about uncle and aunty.

They'll understand you Meera. They always do!!
Don't worry. They'll be with you.

"I will take that Abeer Malhotra. I can't live with a monster like you. Understand" I screamed and banged my hand on table.

Suddenly pain started in my right hand while the dressing was becoming red .

"Damn Meera. Are you mad . What are you doing" he shouted taking my hand in his but I flinched away.

"Don't touch me Abeer Malhotra" I shouted back

"Meera. Don't be stubborn. Let me change the dressing" he said

"I'll prefer dying" I scoffed and he looked at me.

"Meera. Why are you being so stubborn yaar. Blood is coming out from wound. Let me fix it" He said

"I don't want you, to even come near me Abeer Malhotra. " I cried

"Shut up Meera and give me your hand right now" He yelled and I looked at him frightened.

I looked at him like this only while he looked at my position and sighed.

"I'm sorry. Let me do it Meera... everything will ruin " he said

"Everything already ruined Abeer Malhotra " I whispered wiping my tears.

"I'm sorry. Can't you really see that I'm genuinely sorry for what I did. And if you don't think so then too just think me as a stranger and let me do the dressing please" He said

I don't know what happened to me. I don't know what I saw or what I listened . I didn't even say anything.

He looked at me and I wiped my tears away. He took first aid box from the side drawer and took out ointment and bandages from it.

He took my hand in his and I closed my eyes.

Why still these sensations when what I do is just hate this man !!

"It will pain a little Meera" he said

"It already pains much" I replied and he looked down.

He unwrapped the old dressing and when he touched on the wrist it pained very badly.

"Aerhhh" I hissed and he looked at me shutting his eyes.

My hand's paining right!!

I would be the one to shut eyes like this not he!!

He cleaned it and pressed cotton against it.

"If you're angry hurt me..but please don't hurt yourself" he whispered while pressing the cotton to stop the blood oozing out from wound.

" I'm not like you" I snapped

"Never ever be like me Meera. Please! " He said and applied ointment and I looked shocked at him.

I didn't say anything and he did the dressing.

"You feeling okay now" he asked and I looked at him

"How can I feel good when you're in front of my eyes" I said and looked away.

"Meera..I'm..." He was going to say when I stopped him.

"I want divorce Mr. Abeer Malhotra and I've many grounds to divorce you...so please just stop your shit and let's part away. It will be better for both of us. Please leave me Abeer Malhotra" I told and he looked at me intently.

I'm done with you and your shit Abeer Malhotra and that's enough.

I'm saved that's the worst thing..but this time I'll fight for myself more strongly. I'll not loose myself in front of you Abeer Malhotra!! I'll not !!

I hope I'll not !!!

So Meera is safe.. But broken...and a broken person heals slowly...
Will Meera's be able to heal..
