She looked around wildly when she heard a small noise. The wall to her left let out a loud groan, before slowly moving down.

"Aha!" she cheered. "I broke the fourth wall!"

On the other side, she saw a girl curled up on a small bed.

"Emily!" she called out, and the girl on the bed looked up.

"Cisco!" Emily looked up and smiled, as Cisco ran over to hug her.

"Where are we?" asked Emily.

"Quarantine," said Cisco, as if it was nothing. "I was talking to someone earlier and she said we're in quarantine."

"Oh." said Emily, her smile fading.

"But I have super powers!" said Cisco, the excitement returning to her voice. She pointed to the purple sand covering the walls, and Emily widened her eyes.

"What is that stuff?" Asked Emily. Cisco gave her a slightly concerned look for a second.

"No idea," replied Cisco. She jumped as another wall began to fall down, revealing a panicked Charlie.

Her and Emily shared a knowing glance, before another wall opened revealing a panicked Caroline. 

The two looked away, wondering who else had survived. Another series of wall-openings later, and they were joined by a girl named Raven, a boy named Charlie, a girl named Lailah, one named Elizabeth, one named Ivy, and a girl named Sophia.

"Woah... Raven..." said Sophia, staring at the girls's back. On it were two giant, feathery, black wings. Raven looked back at them and smiled, shrugging.

"Can you fly? Oh that would be soooooo coooolll!" squealed Cisco. Raven nodded.

A eerie silence settled over the group, as they took in their surroundings, which wasn't much. 

"Wait a minute... where is Caroline and Charlie, and who is that?" asked Sophia, breaking the silence and pointing to a person looking about 11, with light brown hair, dark brown eyes, and wore a green and blacked striped shirt.

The person blinked, and said "I'm Carolie." 

"What?" asked Lailah. 

The person narrowed its eyes, and blinked.

"I'm Caroline and Charlie...?" said the person, obviously confused. 

"Did they like fuse or something?" asked Raven.

"I think so..." said the person.

"OOOOOHHHH THAT'S SO COOOL!" squealed Cisco loudly, startling the group.

"Calm down, we're right here." snapped Elizabeth, speaking for the first time. 

"It's not that f-" began Ivy, but Cisco made a loud noise to interrupt her. Ivy shot her a glare, but resumed "hard." 

"Wait, so who has powers?" asked Lailah, looking around nervously.

"I do, I don't know about you." said Cisco.

"I do." said Sophia.

"I have gifts, yes." said Ivy.

"Yep." said Emily, finally speaking after having spaced out.

"I guess." said Elizabeth.

"We do." said the fusion.

"So I guess that's everyone." said Lailah, before adding "I also have powers."

"Oh Oh Oh! Are we a band of superheros now?" asked Cisco, excitedly.

"Trapped in Quarantine, yes." said Emily.

"So we need to break out! Simple!" Said Cisco.

"Except we are trapped in Quarantine." snapped Ivy, growing annoyed.

Sirens began to blare, startling the group watching the tweens.

"What is it now." growled a man, narrowing his golden brown eyes. 

"I'll check." said a female, standing and rushing out of the room. The rest of the group turned back at the tweens, watching them closley.

The female returned, a panicked look in her soft brown eyes. "We're under attack! We need to move the kids now!" 

The group stood, as she rushed to the control panel and slapped a bunch of buttons.

"Guys, what is that?" asked Cisco, looking wide-eyed at a strange gas filling the room.

But she never got a response, because before the group could panic they were unconscious on the floor.

Sorry it's short, but I wanted a good cliffhanger to get you going.

This is one of the worse chapters, I plan to edit this one later.

Also, I want to announce an updating schedule! I decided I need to dish my time out for all three books I am working on (Multiverse, Untitled Day, and The Squad) and boom.
