"So what you are telling me is we are supposed to just drop everything and go to Bulgaria? What about my mom?"

"Actually that is already done."

"You compelled my mother?"

"Well you see I think going to Bulgaria would be nice for you, maybe jog your memory a little, you know there is only about three weeks before your twentieth birthday and we all know how that's going to turn out for Etekah, which I don't have so much of a problem with that." Kylie says smirking.

"Hey!" I yell at her turning my head to face her.

"No no it's okay I understand and whatever comes for me."

"I won't let that happen to you."

"Let's just change the subject."

"As I was saying—" Kylie trails off. "we can go to Bulgaria and Etekah and I will show you around the place you fell, and then we can go to London and show you around all the places you lived when you were there, how does that sound Etekah." Kylie draws out her name getting sassy.

"Fine let's go then."

"Well I guess I will be the one driving then." Kylie says getting out of the car and coming to my side.

"I will sit in the back with you." Erika says getting out of the passenger side and climbing into the back.

"What no company for me in the front?"

"You can just be up there by yourself." Erika snaps back.

"Can we all just get along for this trip?" I ask hopefully.

"Fine I will try my best not to be rude to Etekah."

"And I'm not rude unless you are." Erika says back. "Oh and please do call me Erika."

"I'll call you whatever I want, if I can't talk back to you I am allowed to call you Etekah."

"Oh my gosh fine!" Erika throughs her hands into the air.

            Finally we get the road trip going, my mom not knowing where I am actually going, hell who knows what Kylie told her. I decide I didn't want to know so I keep silent while Erika puts her head on my shoulders, sleeping. Bulgaria and London is a long trip and I have no clue how we can even drive there. Soon we are stopped in front of Kylie's house.

"What are we doing here?"

"We are taking my car, how else are we going to get to Bulgaria? I am def not taking a plane."

"What does your car turn into a submarine too? I say sarcastically.

"Yes actually it does." Kylie laughs.

"Oh how convenient." I reply back as we get out of my car and get in the back seat of hers, only there was no back seat, all three seats where in the front. The car looked pretty normal, just an ordinary navy blue all electric Tesla. I had to admit this car was pretty cool, with the automatic door handles and all you had to do was press on the gas pedal to move it. Everything could be connected with her phone. I have never been in this car as long as Kylie and I were dating.

"How come we never took your car out? I don't even see you drive this to school."

"This is my new baby, granted to me when I had to become your Protector down here."

"If I was casted out of Heaven how come he had angels come down to "protect" me?" I put air quotes around 'protect.'

"It's part of our job and I signed up for it. Of course Dean got first serves since he was higher ranked than me but it's cool I get my turn."

"What happened to Dean?"

"He went back to Heavens our body here is just a shell when we die and our soul goes back up and we are regained access to Heaven.

"This is so much to go through my head."

"Oh don't worry soon you'll get it." She says with a grin on her face. I have no clue what that was supposed to me. So I just go back to being silent, sitting in between Kylie and Erika. Soon as we got on the road again I felt Erika's head go back onto my shoulder as she slept again. I look out the window as we drive past the 'Goodbye Lamar, Missouri, come back soon!' sign. Only the r in Lamar was gone, the two o's in goodbye and soon, and the c was gone in back so it said 'Gdbye Lama. Missouri, come bak sn' The sign was old and wearing out, the people that worked on construction needed to repaint it again soon. Everyone was silent; this was going to a long boring drive.

            An hour has passed and it was still silent, the view outside the window was unfamiliar. On the left of me was a forest and the right of me had an ocean view, it was foggy so everything seemed grey. I start to roll down the window on Erika's side trying not to disturb her while she slept.

"What are you doing?" Kylie says frantically as she locks the windows before I could roll it down.

"I just wanted to feel the weather." I sighed.

"No there could be those things watching us, we don't know where they are, they are sneaky."

"God calm down it's okay." As soon as I say that I feel myself being absorbed into darkness and Kylie calling my name from a far.

            The date was February 23rd, 1957, three days until my birthday. I was going out to a concert with my beautiful girlfriend Kylie to see the band Warrant. We have been together for about 7 months and I was happy to call her mine. I get up from my chair and grab my keys to open up my shop that I worked at. It was always boring working there but Kylie always visited me during my lunch hours which always uplifted my days. I open the shop and go to where the cash register was and just sat there.

"Hey Balies!" Dean says as he comes into the shop to start his shift here too.

"How's the beautiful lady?" Dean asks me with a pat on the back.

"Great! We are going to the Warrant concert tonight; I'm excited."

"Well I hope for you to have fun."

"Thanks!" The bell then rings telling me that someone is here. I look up to see long, wavy auburn hair and bright ocean blue eyes that I could see even from a mile away. This girl was stunning, even more beautiful than Kylie and I know I shouldn't be saying that but I couldn't help it.

"Hello welcome to London's Gifts if you need anything you can either ask me or Dean over there." I say pointing to Dean, the normal thing I had to say to costumers even if they were regulars.

"Thanks, I'm looking for the book called "Gods" do you have it in stalk?"

"Dean, can you show her where the books are?" I ask

"Sure follow me." The girl follows Dean to the back of the shop to get a book. I hear mumbling and a couple words exchanged that sounds super off topic to finding a book. I go to the door to eaves drop.

"You're that girl that made Balies be shunned from Heaven." Heaven?

"Who are you?"

"I am Dean, I am a Protector I am here to protect Balies. I was his best friend up in Heaven."

"Okay well can I just get the book."

"Here, and stay away from Balies." Before I can move from the door it opens causing me and the girl to collide.

"Oh gosh I am so sorry."

"Dean, what the heck did you mean by Heaven?"

"You heard us?"

"Yeah I just heard you get off topic."

"You weren't supposed to know that."At that moment I see Kylie walk in and I walk up to her to give her a quick kiss. After giving her a quick kiss I start to feel a burning in my chest, making me grip it and fall to the floor. Everything begins to spin and go white and the last person I see is the girl who's name I didn't catch and Kylie screaming my name in tears.

"Bailey!" Kylie screams at me shaking me.

"Hey it's okay I am fine, why are you crying?"

"I thought you were dying again like last time." I turn to see Erika awake looking at me wide eyed.

"How come I died?"

"You learned too much in one day, you shouldn't have heard that, you seeing me and then hearing that made you die."

"What are you guys talking about?" Kylie asked.

"I let my shield down." Erika mumbles.

"What is the point of that you never worry about it the last time I see my past."

"I shouldn't have walked into the shop that day, I just wanted to see if you were happy, I could have let you live the life, die old, and then go back up to Heaven."

"1957 huh, you compelled me to forget it and I had to pretend I was mortal and I had to make sure Dean didn't give it away, I then ran away to Lamar where we are now and Dean came with, that is why we are here now and we should have done it a long time ago. You know Balies doesn't remember things for a reason."

"I can't tell you that, it was part of the deal you can't know or the deal is off."

"Kylie I was with you, and I was happy with you. Yeah I thought Erika was stunning but I was in love with you."

"Yeah and that was the safest for you, it should have stayed that way."

"Where are we now?" I ask at the same time as Erika causing us to giggle a little and ease up the tension.

"We are almost to the ocean that has the portal that will take us straight into Bulgaria."

"Portal, why didn't we think of that before?" I said feeling stupid.

"What are you talking about?"

"My eye it makes us able to go through portals we could have all just gotten to Bulgaria and London that way, the trip would have been faster."

"Oh god yeah it would have been faster, why didn't you mention it before?"

"I just remembered when you said the word 'portal.'"

"Great." We get to a cliff and Kylie starts to speed up.

"Whoa what the hell are you doing Kylie?"

"Just trust me." And when the car goes off the cliff I look out the window to just see blank white space.

"When you said ocean I actually thought we were going into the ocean."

"You really believed me when I said my car turned into a submarine." Kylie laughs.

"Erika, are you okay?" Erika was just staring off into space not even blinking.

"What the hell?" I say shaking Erika.

"Don't worry about her."

"What do you mean?"

"Well this portal is only meant to be used for angels. She is kind of just going through pain and is unresponsive to us."

"What the hell Kylie!" I scream at her.

"Don't worry it won't kill her, she can't actually be killed unless she is shot with a silver arrow or the curse takes its toll."

"That was a bitch move Kylie."

"I know, by the way I like it when you say my name, say it again." She smirks at me as I just sigh and shake my head. Right as I blink we are in front of a little small cottage that looked familiar from my visions.

"What the hell?" Erika snaps out of it gasping for breath. "What did you do!" Erika yells reaching over me to grab Kylie's arm.

"Hey it's not my fault you have to follow Balies everywhere you go, we went through an angels only portal."

"You know how much pain I just went through?"

"I don't care." Kylie replies as she gets out of the car and Erika and I follow.

"You really need to stop hating me, we are over this you have no reason for it. I even tried to help you when Bailey died in 1957."

Well hello darlings. I know this is a weird way to end the chapter but as I said before I am posting in increments of 2K words because that is how I originally wrote the story for my class. I hope you guys are enjoying we are almost at the end with only three more chapters to go and then I can start posting my next story which isn't quite done yet.
