"Hey are you still up to seeing the movie." I ask Erika who seemed a little guilty and drained out.

"Hey are you okay, you helped me but you look a little I don't know, drained."

"I'm fine, let's go see the movie, just when I use my mind control and my shield at the same time drains me of my energy."

            We walk into the movie theater, buying our ticket, and then finding our seats at the way top of the theater. Furious was about a secret agent who went on missions to kill the people that threaten the system of the government. He then falls in love with the daughter of one of the guys he is suppose to kill causing major conflict throughout the movies and the daughter and the main characters relationship, he ends up dying at the end.(please note that this is not an actual movie) I was surprised that Erika looked semi into the movies; I didn't think she would like these types of movies. It was kind of a romance action. As we sit there watching the movies I can't help but sit there and stare at her, captivated by her beauty; she distracted me. At that moment I decide to do the cliché yawn and then put my arm around the girl move. When I do it she looks over at me giggling.

"What I thought I'd be romantic."

"You're so lame."

"Oh I'm crushed." She laughed at my comment as I put my hand to my heart.

"Shhhh be quiet you're distracting me from the movie." She replies laughing. Her laugh made my heart skip a beat, it was so beautiful, and I could listen to it all day and not get bored. Finally the movie ends, the quickest two and a half hours of my life.

As we walk out of the theaters I decide to make the move to intertwine our hands causing an electric shock to go throughout my body that actually felt good. Erika looks down at our hands and smiles causing me to smile back. It is a quiet ride back, not the awkward kind of silence, but the good kind, the comfortable kind. I still had my hands locked with hers, surprised that I wasn't being absorbed into the darkness knowing that she was thinking the same thing. I pull up to her house, a house that looked similar to mine, as they all did in this small town.

"I had a great time tonight I wouldn't mind doing it again." She whispered sounding a little nervous.

"So did I, I enjoyed your company Erika." I had both her hands in mine trying to think of what to say to keep the conversation going since I didn't want her to leave just yet.

"Well if you want you can come to a party that Ron will be hosting at his place next Saturday."

"I will think about it." At that moment I decide to make a move I lean in and kiss her, at first slowly but then it turns into a passionate kiss. She drapes her arms around my neck as I move them to her hips. Erika breaks the kiss only to open the door, taking my hand and leading me upstairs where her bedroom was. I lock my lips with hers again heading to her bed as I linger over her but before anything else can happen my palm is starting to tingle. I pull away and look at my hand, Erika giving me a concerned look.

"What the hell?" I question as I look at my hand. It was radiating a weird gold color. 

"That's weird why is it doing that?" Erika asks seeming to forget about the moment we just had and what we were clearly about to do. She grabs my hand and that's when the weird thing happened. In front of us there was a black hole that seemed to lead into a different dimension.

"Whoa what is this?"

"The Watcher, you can make portals into different dimensions, I remember reading that somewhere. Your eye must be the thing that makes that happen. Ever since you have been touching me and got that eye it's been giving you the ability to see your past, now you can witness them in person."

"Well then let's go in and see." I start to walk to the portal and am about to step inside when Erika stops me.

"We don't know what will happen. What if you get stuck?"

"That is why we try."

"Well then you aren't going without me." Erika confidently intertwines her hand into my other hand, the left one which was the one without the eye; then we step in together. Everything begins to swirl and I start to feel dizzy, everything around me is dark and all I can see is Erika and feel her hand still locked in mine. My breath is shortened and I am finding myself gasping for air, and before I think it can get worse I see light and feel a cold breeze. We land in snow and it wasn't a clean landing either. I realize this is the same time and place I was the last time I touched Erika. I get up wiped the snow off my nice grey shirt I was wearing and looked over to my left to see Erika looking around surprised as to where we were.

"I remember this, this was the day you took me to that restaurant Yellow Stars. It was a really nice night until you burst to flames at my door step when you kissed me, expressing our love to each other not needing any words to say it. I always thought every time was going to be different, but every time you died it was a surprise." She points to a Victorian styled house, "That is where you lived."

"Wow did I always live in a huge house?"

"Your family was pretty rich in England."

"England is such a beautiful place it fitted for such a beautiful lady such as yourself." I told her causing her to blush at the ground.

"Let's go see if you are in your room. It looks about time for you to pick me up." Just as we are about to walk up to the window we see the door open and me walk out, dressed in a fancy suit not much different from the one I was wearing before I got ready to pick Etekah up. We jump to the bush hiding from sight of me. "Does everyone dress that fancy on a daily basis?"

"It was the fashion back in these days." She whispered trying to keep Balies, as known as me, from hearing us.

"I think I can use my mind control to have others view us to look different."

"That would probably be a good idea." I reply back. She gets up and starts to follow Balies causing me to have to get up and follow him as well. Etekah's house was within walking distance to Balies's so he didn't have to take a wagon. As we are walking I begin to realize how cold it actually is and I see Erika is shivering as well.

"It's a little cold don't you think?"

"I have an idea." Balies finally reaches a small cottage that must be Etekah's and as soon as he is about to knock on the door Erika sprints to the door giving me no choice to run as well. When Etekah and Balies see us they look frightened and confused.

"Balies you see us as just two peasants looking for warmth." As soon as Erika does that Balies's face goes back to normal. "And for you since I can't mind control myself I guess I will just have to show you." She puts her hand to Etekah's head the same way Erika did to me to show me what happened in the car crash and soon Etekah's face is full with knowing.

"There is no way for you to change the past but knowing this is my house anyway I think we need some coats and Balies you may have to bring you to your house for a coat for Bailey."

"Actually I think I may have a coat that would fit him, my friend left over at my house the last time he was here studying for his big exam with me."

"That would be perfect." Etekah leads us into the house and runs into the room grabbing two thick coats for the two of us. "Here you go these should be good."

"Great they fit perfectly." Erika looks to me and then laughs' seeing mine is a little too big."

"Sorry my friend he is a little on the heavy side." Etekah says with a little giggle. "So I see you haven't learned your lesson for the last six centuries."

"You'll see it's not as easy as it looks, as for you are me."

"That is true, well your are welcomed to stay here considering this is your house but I have to get going with Balies before our reservations are given to someone else."

"Sure it was nice meeting you Balies." Erika says with a wave.

"You too." He waves back and then they are out the door.

"Are we going to follow them?"

"No if I remember correctly you drop me off here and then we kiss on the door step and then you burst into flames." Erika gets up and goes into her bedroom. She picks up a stuffed bunny and hugs it to her chest.

"I lost her to the fire that burnt down my house in 1905; you saved my life you know."

"What happened after?"

"The same as always I realize I am in love with you and then you die."

"Oh."

"Yeah I can't really say I've been through a lot because I believe you have been through a lot more." She then goes to a jewelry box and pulls out a pearl necklace. "This was given to me by my mom before she past, I lost all this stuff in the fire."

"Why not bring it back with you I mean it is your stuff."

"I guess I didn't think of that, I will do that, thanks." She come to me and gives me a hug and then whispers in my ear, "You changed me." I didn't quite get what that meant but I didn't question it because I didn't want to let go of her I just wanted to stay locked in her embrace. It takes about an hour and a half until I hear voices from outside.

"Get the portal ready I want to be out before she comes back inside."

"But I don't know how?"

"What!"

"It just happened when you kissed me remember?" She then comes over and grabs me kissing me passionately and then I feel the familiar tingle in my hand. I pull away and look to see the eye radiating the gold again and I put my palm out creating the portal.

"I guess it works when we touch more than once a day or kiss or something." She says looking a little flushed. I hear a scream and run to the window with Erika behind me. There was Balies bursting into flames and then just disappearing and at that moment I feel a burning sensation in my heart and I drop to the ground clutching my heart.

"Bailey!" I hear Erika screech but her voice sounds so far away. I am then lifted up and I see myself being leaded to the portal but everything around me is blurry and then everything starts to spin and everything goes black.

            "Being around Etekah will be the death of you, stay away from her." Images are being thrown around; it looks as if it is the future. Fire, pain, and disappearances. Etekah smiling, her beauty so captivating, I won't be able to resist her. Kissing, love, a forest around me and then nothing.

            I wake up in an unfamiliar place gasping for breath. I look to see Erika sitting on the side of the bed next to me.

"You are pretty strong for a lady."

"Oh gosh you're awake, I don't even know what happened, you just fell and blacked out.
