Chapter 1
A little girl was born in Winterfell on a dark, starless night. The worse snow storm in years, blew through Winterfell. Over the howls of the wind, wolves sang as the girl came into the world and the snow fell from the sky. Winterfell looked like a castle of ice. This weather was expected.
Winter is coming.
As Eddard Stark looked out the window, he thought about the woman he had brought to Winterfell. How she was only a few rooms down, screaming, because the pain of childbirth took over her whole body. He wondered if this woman would have the same fate as his sister, Lyanna. Lyanna's word's rang through Eddard's head.
"Ned, you must take him. Do not tell anyone who he is, if Robert found out he would kill him. You know he will." Lyanna said.
Eddard shook his head at the memory and looked over at his eldest son, Robb. He was finally sleeping. The weather had caused the almost two year old out of bed, he was afraid. Eddard looked over at the crib, where his nephew lay. Only nobody would know he was his nephew. They would know him as his son. The growing baby, who would turn a year old in a few months, lay asleep. The sound of the storm raging on outside not bothering the baby boy.
Eddard looked back out the window as he heard the screams of the woman from down the hall. He then remembered what Lyanna had said next.
"Ned, you must take Astrid with you. She does not know her way home. Take her to Winterfell and keep her safe. The child she carries will bring great power into the world. A seer has shown us. The baby she holds must be kept safe at all costs. Otherwise, this world is doomed." Lyanna said, out of breath.
Eddard rubbed his temple as he waited and waited for news. Catelyn was in the room, trying to comfort the woman named, Astrid. Astrid is a beautiful woman. Black hair, as dark as night itself, piercing blue eyes, and skin like the snow that is falling now. She was a girl when Eddard's father found her outside of the walls of Winterfell. Six, she was. And soon, her and Lyanna became as close as sisters. Only when Eddard and his siblings became old enough to understand, did their father tell them where Astrid really came from.
Another scream, followed by muffled cries. Not even two minutes had passed, before Catelyn came into the room. Her eyes wet with tears and her long, dark, red hair falling out of the braid that tried to keep it back.
"Ned..." She whispered, putting her hand to her mouth before she began to cry. Eddard quickly walking over to her.
"What is it?" He whispered.
"She's gone." Catelyn said, before burying her face into Eddard's chest. A tight feeling in his throat. Astrid gone, just as Lyanna had.
"Where is the child?" Eddard asked, letting Catelyn cry for a few moments.
"She is with Maester Luwin." Catelyn whispered.
"It's a girl?" Eddard asked.
Catelyn nodded. Eddard knew he would keep Jon's true parent's identity a secret until Jon was old enough to understand, however this little child would bring much power to the world. Catelyn would soon know. Eddard looked at his wife, before motioning for her to follow her to their room.
And as the storm raged on, Eddard told Catelyn all about this little girl and what the seer had told Astrid and Lyanna. And in this moment, they both knew they needed to protect this little girl, like she is their own.

The years went by quickly. As Robb and Jon grew so did the little girl who was born on the stormy night. Arianne. She grew up with Robb and Jon. And soon, Sansa joined Arianne's company.
Before Arya was born, Eddard and Catelyn found out about the powers that Arianne began to wield. One night, they began to notice ice form on their floors. All throughout Winterfell, small patches of ice began to appear.
While they were sitting for dinner one night, Arianne reached for her silverware and it turned to ice before her eyes. Although she was shocked, she was not afraid. Eddard and Catelyn noticed this and took her aside. They talked to her about how powerful she would be someday, but they thought it best that nobody know she could wield the elements of winter through her tiny hands. And so she kept the secret.
As she grew, she only became more beautiful. And her powers grew with her, only becoming stronger. Most times she would sneak out of Winterfell and into the deep forest. And here is where she began to do her magic. She would make it snow, bring ice to the pine trees and all was beautiful and white.
The only ones who knew about her secret were Eddard and Catelyn Stark, until one day, another found out.

Hello, readers! I hope you guys enjoy this little first chapter, it is through the third person, but for most of the story it is told through Arianne's point of view or sometimes another person's point of view. This chapter is just letting you know a little bit about Arianne and how she came to be. I promise you won't have to wait too long to know more about her mother and where they really descend from. Thank you guys for reading!
I would also like to say I own nothing from the TV Show or Books of Game Of Thrones. I just added the character Arianne in to add a bit more drama. Thank you for reading!
