It's the day before Easter and I promised my family I'd come down along with Baby Alex and Xander.

Xander was driving us there and it was going to take almost a whole day to get there. Then he's bringing us back because he has to leave for a week for business. 

I ain't care though cause that meant I ain't have to see his ugly face. His friends left last week but they'd be back when he came back.

"Hurry up!"

I made sure I had everything I needed then I got in.

We pulled up in front of my house and he looked at me. 

"Why you gotta attitude? You been rude to me since you told me that shit."

"I don't have a fucking attitude."

"So you sleeping on the couch and not talking to me for weeks isn't having an attitude?"

He took a deep breath.

"Like I thought. We can go in. Oh before we go in, we're engaged if they ask. They gonna flip if they find out I moved in with a stranger."

He nodded.

We got out and I got out the duffel bag with our stuff. I handed him the bag and he handed me Baby Alex. I used my key to open the door and to my goddamn surprise, Jesús and José were in the living room with my mom and dad.

"Lexiiiiiii!" My mom yelled running and hugging me, "Who is this pretty little baby?"

"Who's the nigga?" Jesús asked.

"None of your business so don't ask again."

"You fucking him? That's why you left? To run off with some nigga?"

"Don't ever disrespect me like that, you know damn well I ain't having sex with nobody no time soon, I actually left because of you and José."

"Hey, I'm Jerome, Alexandra's dad."My dad said extending his hand to Alexander.

"Nice to meet you I'm Alexander, her umm, fiance."

José and Jesús looked at each other, then mugged Xander.

"That's why you left? It's 'bout to be a crazy day cause that lil' Dominican nigga coming over."

"Who the fuck invited him?!"

"Don't you-"

"Nah, fuck this shit. We're leaving."

"Lexi, no! You just got here, I haven't seen my baby in almost a whole month and you're already trying to leave me."

I took a deep breath and led Xander to my old room.

"So..."

I gave Baby Alex to him, went in my closet, grabbed a blanket and screamed in it. I collected myself and put it back then exited the closet.

I took a shower and got dressed and bathed Baby Alex then dressed. Xander put the chain with her middle name on her neck and I took a picture after taking her to the back yard where my parents were setting up.

I went back up to my room, Xander was in the shower. 

I took some selfies, took pictures of Baby Alex and I, then scrolled through Insta. Several minutes later he came out wearing a yellow and black polo shirt, black skinny jeans, and some black polo shoes.

"Hey."

He gave me a head nod.

"Why the fuck are you treating me like this? I didn't do shit to you."

"I'm not doing nothing to you."

"You're fucking ignoring me and distancing yourself from me. If that's how you're going to keep treating me I can send you my half of the rent and stay down here."

"It's whatever you want to do Alex."

"Alright then, I'ma stay here and just send you my portion of the rent."

"Ight."

I rolled my eyes and heard a knock on my door.

"It's open."

It was him...

"What do you want?"

"Less attitude and to talk to you."

"I ain't getting back with you."

"Shit, why not?"

"Cause I done moved on."

"But you didn't. I ain't stupid, meet me in my truck in 3 minutes." He said walking out.

I rolled my eyes cause he knew me too well.

I looked at myself in the camera on my phone and fixed my low ponytail before I headed down there. 

He was on the phone but hung up when he saw me.

I got in and he started the truck.

"I ain't leaving with you. My fiance is going to be looking for me."

"Fiance?"

"Mhm."

"Nigga it's barely been a whole month and ya ass done hopped on another dick."

"I ain't and have never been on someone's dick. Don't do me."

He turned the car off, "I'ma make ya life a living hell, since I'm not good enough."

"Because I'm happy?"

"Nah, once you're mines, you're always mines. I told you that 5 years ago."

"Why? Mario just leave me alone, you broke up with me, doofus!"

"Nah, we had plans Alex!"

"That you ruined when you walked out that door."

"I wasn't thinking, when I got that call that you went missing I fucking lost it."

"Lost what? Ya mind? I hope you find it cause I don't know where it is either."

"I stayed loyal to you, I was faithful. I wanted to be your first everything and I wanted you to be my first everything. We were each other's first kisses, we were each other first oral. I was supposed to take your virginity while giving you mine the day we got married! I done waited!"

He was visibly frustrated.

"I hope you can find someone to finish what I started because I'm- we're done, Mario."

"I still love you no matter what, Alex."

"I love you too."

I hopped out and went to enjoy time with my family.
