After 8 years...

A man is standing in the living room of his mansion and shouting for his wife, who is in kitchen since morning.

Man(irritatingly) - God Nandini, you are preparing food for whole Mumbai or what? Let's go naa, kid's flight must be landing soon.

A woman came out of the kitchen, wiping her hands and with a frustrated look on her face.

Nandini- For the 100th time I'm telling you Manik, that we still have time and don't disturb me and let me prepare food for my babies. You go and do some work. Go, go shoo.

Manik (puppy face)- You are so mean, I hate you Mrs Malhotra.

For a moment, Nandini wanted to kiss that adorable face of her husband but the mother inside her immediately got active and reminded her about the food that she is making for her kids who are coming home after 05 long years.

So she ran inside again, without doing or saying anything making Manik scowl.

At the same time, another man entered the mansion, carrying 6-7 bags full of gifts.

Manik-( confusingly) Yeh Kya Hai?
( What's this)

Man-(sarcastically) Bags.

Manik fake laughed and said gritting his teeth- Don't irritate me more Cabir. I'm already frustrated.

Cabir- Why? What happened?

Manik-(whining) Kids flight is delayed and this Nandu is not listening to me.

Cabir made an ohh face and then shrugged his shoulders as if nothing happened making Manik more irritated.

Cabir- ( placing bags on couch) By the way where is my Baby Princess?

Voice- Here!

They both heard a voice and turned to see a 18 years old young girl walking down the stairs smiling happily at them. Seeing her face, a smile broke on Manik's face too and he opened his arms to hug her.

That girl too ran and hugged him tightly while Manik kissed on the top of her head making her smile.

Manik-(whispering) Is my Princess doing okay?

Girl- (nodding in yes) Yesss Papa.

Manik-Don't stress yourself much okay? These are just exams and you will easily ace it. If you are facing any difficulty then let me or your Mom know okay!

Myrah-( happily) No need of that Papa, I have already talked to Karan Bhaiyu and Mrudula Dii. Karan Bhaiyu is going to help me with maths while Mrudula Dii will help me with Chemistry and Physics.

Manik-(scrunching his face) That idiot talked with you yesterday?

Myrah-(cutely) Yes before boarding their flight. I talked to all of them. That temple guy was teasing me again Papa, punish him once he comes.

Manik-(angrily) That brat didn't picked up my phone yesterday.

Cabir-(laughing) Must be irritated from your continuous calls.

Manik-(huffing) Shut up stupid.

Myrah and Cabir giggled seeing Manik all frustrated. That's when they heard a bunch of voices which shocked Cabir and Manik to the core while Myrah laughed and started jumping in excitement.

Voice-(shouting) Maa,Papa!

Listening this voice even Nandini came running out to see if actually they are here already.

Myrah ran towards the 02 boys who were standing there with their arms wide open to hug their Kiddo/Devil.

Myrah-(shouting crazily) Bhaiyuu... Temple guy!!!!

Karan/Aarav-(loudly)- Kiddooo/Brat.

Myrah-(hugging both of them tightly) I missed you both so much!

Karan-(kissing in her head) We missed you too Kiddo...how's my baby doing?

Aarav-(sarcastically) We should ask this from Mom and Dad, how are they doing after handling her alone from 05 years.

Myrah and Karan both hit Aarav from either sides making him scowl.

Once the brother-sister moments got over, both Malhotra boys ran towards their parents who were shedding tears by now. Aarav hugged Manik and Karan took Nandini in his arms.

Aarav-(chuckling) Kyaa haan Dad main 05 saal se hi toh nahi mila aur aap rotlu bangaye?
( What huh dad,I didn't meet you only from past 05 years and you become a cry baby?)

Manik-(lightly hitting him with tears in his eyes) Shut up, first you went to USA for 8 years and then didn't even meet me from past 05 years and now you are complaining that I have become a cry baby. When you will become Dad naa, then you will understand.

Aarav-(looking up dramatically) Oh God please listen to his prayers, make me Dad soooooonnnnn.

He said stretching soon making everyone present there giggle while Karan hugged Nandini more closely.

Karan-(whispering) How are you beautiful?

Nandini was not in a state to answer so she just nodded her head with tears in her eyes making Karan smile lovingly. He placed a loving kiss on her forehead and again hid her in his arms.

Myrah-(pouting) Where are others Bhaiyu?

On listening to her, both Karan and Aarav become scared and they both shouted "freak" together.

Nandini-(concerning tone) What happened?

Aarav-( sheepishly) Vo Maa, we were so excited to meet you guys, so we just rushed straight inside leaving them with all the bags.

Karan-(mumbling) Jaan will kill me.

At the same time, they both heard a loud angry voice and everyone turned around to see 4 people standing there with angry faces.

Among them, two girls left all the bags on the door itself and ran towards Manik and Nandini pushing Aarav and Karan away making them pout.

Girl 1- (hugging Manik) Appa, see this monster, he left me with the bags and ran inside.

Manik-( huffing angrily like a baby) Oh my baby, don't worry we both will punish these 3 Malhotras. These brats lied to me about delaying of flight, then came here by themselves and didn't even picked my calls last night.

Aarav, Myrah and Karan made a scared face while everyone else kept laughing on their expenses.

Girl 2- (hugging Nandini) I missed you Maa, you know I had such a long flight and this Varun kept disturbing me. (whispering as if telling a secret but still loud enough) I will break-up with him dekhna.

Varun who was standing at the back came inside saying loudly- Aeyy aeyyy what do you mean haan Diya? I was the only one who was standing there, helping you guys. So shameless you guys are.

Meanwhile, the last girl who was still standing, ran towards Cabir and hugged him tightly, while he twirled her around making her laugh loudly.

Girl-(shouting happily) I missed you Papa!!!!

Cabir-(same tone) I missed you too Aaradhyu!!!

Everyone smiled seeing the father-daughter while Aarav was just lost in his girl's smile.

Varun-(looking around) Where are everyone else? Mom Dad?

Manik-(placing his hands on his shoulder) Your Mom and my crazy sister has gone out to shop some gifts for you all and poor Abhi had to follow her.

Aradhya-(looking at cabir) Where is Mom, Dad?

Nandini-(smiling) She has gone to temple with Maa, we thought you all will be coming by evening so everyone went out to complete some or the other work, so that we can spend maximum time with you guys.

Diya-(hugging Nandini) Awiee sooo shweeet.

Karan-(pushing Diya) Hat chal...(pouting) Maa I'm hungry.

When Karan pushed Diya, she made a really angry pout making everyone else giggle but the next moment everyone's giggles turned into laughter, once she started pulling his hair making him shout in pain.

Diya-(angrily, still pulling his hair) First, you were late to the airport, then you left us outside with the bags and now you are pushing me away from Maa...you idiot I'll kill you.

Karan-(crying in pain) Aaaaa leave me for God's sake you evil lady. (Looking at Aarav and Varun) What are you looking at idiots? Save me from this brat.

Varun and Aarav who were busy laughing, stopped and ran towards Diya to pull her back who was now planning to murder Karan.

By the time they were successful, Karan was massaging his scalp while everyone else were on the floor by now, laughing loudly and Diya was having that proud look on her face.

Nandini came forward and hugged Diya laughingly making Karan whine loudly.

Karan-(Childishly) You don't love me anymore. I'm going back.

Manik-(shouting) Noooooooooooo!!!!!

Everyone was startled for a second on hearing his shout but soon they all started laughing making him feel embarassed. Karan smiled cheekily and walked towards Manik and sat on the sofa placed infront of him, hugging him like a child through his waist.

Karan-(grinning) You missed me so much? How sweet!!!!

Manik-(looking here and there) No I didn't.

Karan rubbed his nose on Manik's tummy and again looked up smiling cheekily- Liar liar pants on fire!

Everyone laughed on his antics and Manik lovingly caressed his hair. At the same time, Aarav almost jumped on Manik's back and said in a whining tone.

Aarav-(pouting) You never said that to me.

Manik-(glaring) I'm giving you for adoption Temple guy. You didn't bother picking up my calls the whole day.

Aarav-(grinning) Surprise dena tha na! ( I had to give you surprise naa).
Ask him also, why his phone was off?

Manik-(nonchalantly) He already told me that his phone got lost last evening.

Aarav-(narrowing his eyes at Karan) Really bro?

Karan-(stammering) Yeah..yeah... really.

Manik too looked at him making his eyes like Chinese people and within seconds he got to know, that his both sons didn't pick up his calls deliberately. HOW RUDE!!

Manik-(Childishly) Nanduuuuu, see your sons...I hate both of them. Now I'll give them...no noo... I'll sell them, will earn money and then I'll buy some nice gifts for my 04 precious daughters.

He said pointing at Myrah, Diya, Aaradhya and Mrudula making them giggle while Aarav and Karan were staring at him wide eyed.

Varun-(pouting) What about me?

Manik-(extra Sweetly) Oh yeah I forgot...(for a sec Varun got happy, but Manik's next word made him whine too) I'll sell you too with these dumheads. Double profit! Huh!

Karan/Aarav/Varun-(cryingly) Maaaa!!!!

Nandini-(making fake angry face) Manik, don't tease my babiess.

The trio of boys went and hugged Nandini, while all the girls covered Manik, kind of making a team.
