"What are you doing?" Asked my mom standing in the doorway. I folded a sweater and placed it neatly inside my bag. 

"I'm going back home" I stated grabbing another sweater and folding it. 

"You are home" she replied.

"No mom, this is not my home"

She sighed and walked over to me, sitting down on the bed, her face away from me.

"You know I thought that you had forgiven me, had forgotten about everything that happened but I guess I was wrong. You can never stop hating me."

"Mom"

I stopped my work and stared at her, her hair were pulled back in a bun. She was wearing a baby blue cardigan with with pearls around her neck. She looked beautiful.

"I never hated you" I said and walked over to sit next to her.

"What happened, happened okay? You weren't happy with dad so you left him. Back then I was angry, I didn't believe in a world....where my parents weren't together and when I realised that I was actually living in one....."

I stared at my side table, a picture of us all looking at me. Our smiles so big that you could feel the happiness we had at that moment. I took a deep breath and started again.

"I was sad and lonely and...I blamed you for everything, for destroying our perfect family, for being selfish. But as time went by I understood. I now understand mom, I understand why you left dad, why you're with Henry"

She looked at me, searching my face.

"Do you really accept me and Henry?" She asked her eyes staring at me hopefully.

"Yes mom, I do. Besides I think Henry is cool now, he brought be a teddy bear as a gift" I replied with a smile.

My mom laughed beside me, her face glowing.

"I love you mom" I said softly.

She looked back at me, her smile not leaving her face. She brought me in for a hug.

"I love you too" she replied kissing ny head.

"I need to tell you something"

I pulled away from her.

"I....me and Henry......we....we married three month ago" she said not looking me in the eye.

"What!? Really?" I replied shocked.

I didn't expect that, I never thought for even a second they were married. And for three months.

"Yea, we thought there was no reason to delay it more. And I know we were going to invite people and all but we just thought it would be better if it was just the two of us"

I nodded and then smiled.

"Congratulations mom, I'm really happy for you and Henry"

"Thankyou"

"But you should have told I could have come"

"You wouldn't have" my mom stated and probably she was right, I always had a grudge about her and Henry's wedding. But now, I felt happy for her, for them.

"I did tell your dad though"

I nodded looking away from her. I wonder how my dad felt when he heard the news, was he happy? Or sad.

"Your dad is a great man Eva, he deserves the world, he deserves so much more than me. And even though I left him don't ever think that I don't love your father. I will always love him."

The door to my room opened and Ally walked in slowly. I looked up from my book and took in her disheveled look. My eyes went to her face and I instantly knew she had been crying.

"What happened?" I asked as she sat down next to me.

She didn't say anything and kept on crying, her eyes squeezed shut as tears poured out.

I let her cry.

"I told him....I told him I loved him and he said nothing" she said finally, taking in a deep breath.

I looked at her stunt. Trying to function what she just said. Did she really told Drake she loved him? Ans he said nothing?

"Wha...what?"

She turned to look at me, tears falling from her eyes.

"He said nothing Eva"

I could feel her pain as she said that and it broke my heart. Its a big deal admitting your love for someone. And to get nothing in return....

"Ally its...its okay, hey its okay" I said moving forward and hugging her.

"I told him I loved him and he didn't say anything, he...he just stared at me and then said he had to go"

"Ally, give him sometime he....its probably a shock to him" I replied trying to calm her.

She got out of my embrace and looked at me, fear evident in his eyes.

"Eva what if he doesn't love me? What if he realizes I'm not the one for him and breaks up with me I...."

"Ally relax okay? He's not going to break up with you, he cares a lot about you. Just give him sometime, I think he's figuring out his own feelings"

Ally nodded as she hugged me again.

"I really love him Eva"

I got out of the bathroom and ran to get my phone. It was ringing for a long time. Seeing Carter's name on it I pressed the answer button.

"Hey" I said.

"Where were you? I've been calling for so long" came his impatient and concerned voice.

"I was in the bathroom taking a shower" I replied walking to the window in my room.

"Oh I got scared" he replied.

"There is nothing to worry about Carter, I'm fine"

I could feel his smile on the other end as I stared at the stars outside.

"What are you doing?" I asked him.

"I'm laying in my bed"

"You should come out and look at the sky, it looks beautiful today"

"If I want to look at something beautiful I should come over and see you"

I could feel myself blush as a smile made its way to my face.

"Why did you call?"

"You're going to school tomorrow right? I'll come pick you up, we can go together" he replied.

"But my mom told me she'll drop me off"

"Don't worry about your mom, I'll make her agree. She liked me"

"Of course" I replied with a giggle.

I walked back to my bed and sat down.

"Hey Carter?"

"Yea"

"Did Drake told you what happened?"

There was a silence at the other end followed by a deep breath.

"He did, just give him sometime"

"I know, that's what I told Ally but do you think he'll say it back?"

There was silence again and I knew Carter didn't want to answer that question, he didn't know the answer.

"Anyways I'll see you tomorrow?" I said breaking the silence.

"Course you will, goodnight angel"

I know I know I'm a really bad person for not keeping my promise and I'm really sorry. Those of you who are still reading this book I love you and I promise i will be quick now
My studies are actually taking up most of my time so I hope you all understand. Anyways here you have a brand new chapter tell me what you think, its not very good but I promise i'll write better next time.
