The big world is scary
You should never have let go
Please hold me a while longer
For you haven't told me all you know

The basics arent enough
Im always stuck
Its not going away
Please help ive run amuck

The words dont work
The way they once did
Im sorry for the burden
And the way that ive hid

The tears dont stop
And they never dry
You say the pain stops
But can you say that and look me in the eye?

You raised me right
Its just the path
It forced me to walk it
While you were taking a bath
