At night I think of what would have

If I didn't stop eating

But I don't regret

At night I don't miss the past

I flourish in the present

And look forward to

The future

At night I listen to

The thoughts in my head

The guilt in my stomach

Of having eaten

At night I think of people

Mother, father, everyone

And I think of places
