Peridot's POV

After all that boring "Introduce yourself" session, it was finally lunch time.

Since it was the first day, Class ends before lunch. But since I'm new here, I decided to roam around, Searching my way to the Cafeteria.

I tried to remember all of my tracks, but it seems that I had gotten myself lost. Again.

What's worse is, since class is already dismissed, the halls were empty.

I can't ask anyone for directions cause nobody is even here.

I made another turn, but as I did, I noticed that I made my way back to my classroom.

Did I just walk in a circle?!

I grunted and just went to the door.

I opened the door without a care since I assumed that no one was there.

But as soon as I opened the door, it hit something.

My eyes widened as I rushed at the other end of the door, searching for anything that might have hit it.

But I saw nothing.

I quickly sharpened my senses, searching for any presence that I might have missed.

And that's where I sensed someone above me.

I looked up and saw an angel, It had its wings exposed.

I squinted my eyes to see better cause it was right below the light source.

As my vision adjusted, I saw a familiar blue-eyed female.

"L-lapis?" I murmured.

She jolted as I recognized her, She quickly closed and locked the doors of the room.

Switching the lights off, She landed gracefully in front of me.

She held my shoulders and looked like she was concentrating.

Is she trying to erase my memories?

Right, she may think that I'm a human.

"That won't work." I said.

She squeaked at the sound of my voice.

She walked backwards, eyes widened.

"W-What are you?!" She kind of shouted.

I raised my eyebrow.

"Now that's just rude." I said as I folded my arms to my chest.

She then cowardly hid behind a chair.

Like that would help her.

"Hide your wings before someone sees it." I remotely said.

She did as she was told, but continued to hide behind the chair.

I chuckled and approached her.

She seemed to whimper as I walked closer.

I bent down and placed a hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay. I won't hurt you." I said, smiling.

Her eyes slowly met mine, filled with fear.

I chuckled and pulled her to stand up.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, calmly.

She blushed and looked down.

"I-I forgot something is all." She said.

I nodded, she then looked at me again.

"You?" She said, shyly.

I felt my face flush.

"Well, I...was finding the cafeteria but then gotten myself lost." I said quickly.

It took her a while to process everything that I said, But I knew she understood it when she started to giggle softly.

"As long as you don't tell anyone on what you just saw, I'll be your tour guide." She said.

I grinned. "Deal."

We then switched the lights back on and unlocked the doors, making sure everything was fine as we headed to the cafeteria.

We made our way to a few places first, like the Library, the Gym, the Clinic, before the Cafeteria.

It was already 2 o clock when we arrived, so we bought our food quickly and exited while eating.

"So..how's first day?" She asked.

"Totally boring." I said.

We both laughed and continued to walk.

I then spotted an empty bench and pulled Lapis towards it.

We sat in silence.

This is more awkward that the time we were in class.

I then continued to eat when I felt a hand messing with my hair.

"H-hey!" I blurted.

Lapis giggled. "Hey, it's really fluffy."

I grunted but let her touch my hair.

"So uh, what time are you going home?" I asked.

She then stopped messing with my hair.

"W-well, I live alone so.. It's not really entertaining to go home early." She murmured.

I stood up. "Well wanna come with me to my place? It's getting kind of boring here."

She smiled and nodded.

We then made our way out of the campus and walked on the sidewalk.

"So, where do you live?" She asked.

"Somewhere in the woods." I said.

"The woods? Why would you live there?" She asked.

"Well, it's quiet." I said.

The forest was only a few blocks away from the campus, so it only took us a few minutes to get to the entrance of the forest.

I felt her walk closer to me.

I guess she's anxious of the thought of entering a forest.

I followed the path way that Zircon made for me so I wouldn't get lost.

Soon enough, we arrived.

"So.. here's my house!" I said, grinning.

She looked at my house.

"How.. Is this in the woods?! It's so big!" She exclaimed.

I then pulled her inside and made her sit on the couch, she kept looking around.

"What do you wanna do?" I asked her.

I think I disturbed her cause she kind of jolted.

"Well.. first off, can I expose my wings? It feels really cramped." She said.

I know that feeling. Too bad I can't expose my wings as to keep my kind a secret.

I just simply nodded and watched as she exposed her white wings.

"Ah.. that's better." She said. 

I smiled.

"Well?" I said.

"Oh! uhm.. well I don't really have anything in mind." She said.

I then went to my computer and pulled out my collection of discs.

"How about a movie?" I said, showing her the box of discs.

"Sure." She said, smiling.

I struggled as I set up the system, so Lapis helped me.

"I think this goes here.." She murmured as she placed a wire in place.

The television immediately reacted as soon as she placed the wire.

"Nice." I praised.

We then got comfy on the couch and watched the movie.

She feels like she'll be a good friend... I smiled at the thought.

I can finally have a friend.
