Collision
Peridot's POV
A few weeks have passed since my enrollment. The next three days will be the start of school so I decided to shop for materials.
Zircon was pretty wealthy if I say so myself. Fortunately for me, his will stated that all of his belongings will be inherited by me, so I don't find any difficulty when it comes to cash.
I got ready and wore a green shirt in a black hoodie, shredded jeans, and black with a dash of green sneakers.
I swear all of my clothes are either green or black. What? I admire those two colors very much.
I went out of the house and walked through the path of the forest. My house is in the woods in order to be hidden away from humans.
What I love about being a fallen is that Guardians nor Demons nor Any kind of supernatural specie can't detect me unless I expose my wings.
So I pretty much fit in the human society.
I hurriedly went to the store and picked up some materials that I could possibly use for school.
Pens, Paper, Notebooks, and alot more.
I was about to head to the counter when I noticed something.
A black journal.
I went closer to reach it but I ended up bumping my head into someone else's.
I jolted back and rubbed my forehead.
I cleared my vision to see who I collided with and saw a teenage Guardian rubbing her forehead.
I cleared my throat and approached her.
"Sorry. I didn't see you. Are you okay?" I said.
She narrowed her eyes at me.
I raised my eyebrow.
She can't sense if I'm a fallen right? She seemed to be checking if I'm human or not.
A few seconds later her face relaxed.
"Y-yeah I'm okay. I apologize for not seeing you as well." She said.
I smiled and went back to reaching for the journal.
There were two of them so I picked up both and handed her one.
"Here." I said, smiling.
She looked hesitant, but she took it anyways.
I nodded and her and I began to head towards the cashier.
"W-wait! What's your name?"
Lapis' POV
"W-wait! What's your name?" I slightly shouted at the stranger.
She turned around to look at me and smiled.
"Peridot." She simply said.
She feels so different, but I know she ain't a demon.
"And you are?" She asked.
"L-Lapis." I stuttered.
Why am I so nervous? I'm pretty sure she ain't a high ranked angel either, so why do I feel like she's more dominant than me.
She grinned.
"You okay there, Lapis? You're turning red." She teased.
I felt my face flush even more.
"S-sorry!" I blurted out and ran towards the exit of the store.
What the heck was that?!
Peridot's POV
What the heck happened to her?
I just chuckled and paid for the stuff that I picked out.
Weird girl.
She is cute though.
I wonder if I'd ever meet her again..
