Ace bit back a groan as he entered inside the penthouse. The girl following close behind him quietly with her luggage. Something had awakened inside him the moment he saw her. She was so beautiful. Uncle Ares had said the bodyguard was an assassin, Kaida Russo. He read the information Uncle Ares sent about her but Ace didn't expect such a beautiful temptation to be presented to him. “Where are you going?” Kaida asked from behind just as he was about to leave.

“Out.” Ace replied, turning to look at her calmly. She was wearing another suit. A red one accentuating her curves and muscles. Her red hair, pulled back as always. Such a Fiery little one.

“Where?”Kaida repeated in an authoritative voice. 

“To the club. What's with the questions?”Ace asked, irritation clear in his eyes. Being attracted to his own bodyguard was not enough. On top of that she had to be bossy as hell which was as much as he hated to admit it, hot.

“I'm your bodyguard in case you forgot. I'm coming with you,”Kaida replied, walking past him to the elevator.

“Right.” Ace said, walking behind her quietly. “The big bad wolf will come to eat me at the club late at night. Of course you need to be there” He added tauntingly with a hint of sarcasm.

Kaida scoffed “Annoying little kid”

“Kid?”Ace stared at her flabbergasted. This woman. “You are just one year older than me.”

“Still a kid to me” Kaida replied, a faint smirk tugging at the corners of her lips.

She was doing it on purpose. The brat. Muttering curses under his breath, he pressed the button on the elevator and remained quiet.

Once, they arrived on the ground floor. He walked to his black Lamborghini and got in. Kaida hopped in just after, twirling her gun as if it was a toy, not even glancing his way.

“Loosen up a bit, it's just the two of us,”Ace said, starting the car.

“Just drive to the club,” Kaida replied.

“So bossy. Are you always like this or is it special treatment for me?”Ace asked with a teasing tone. He already liked teasing her and pushing her buttons. There was something about those fiery eyes that he loved a lot. The way she looked at him like she wanted to decapitate his head.

“Don't flirt with me” Kaida mumbled looking ahead but Ace saw the brief smile tugging at the corners of her lips. She liked bickering with him even if she didn't want to admit it.

“Who says I'm flirting?”Ace replied nonchalantly, pulling the car to a stop just in front of the club. Music blasting full force, some people were even making out just outside the club. He liked that club specifically because it was close by to his penthouse and the atmosphere was the best.

“Let's get this night over with,” Kaida muttered while leaving the car. This girl was an enigma. One minute she was all bossy and then the next she was hiding her smile. And then cold again.

Sighing, Ace left the car hoping he could get drunk. Maybe then he wouldn't feel attracted to this girl. He definitely needed to drink off the news of now having a sexy bodyguard stuck to his side.
