Chapter 16

Nathan pulled away and cupped my face with his hand.

"Come on, I don't want you to catch a cold," Nathan smiled taking my hand and swimming to the edge of the pool. He pulled himself out then held both of his hands out for me. Smiling I took his hands.

"I'm heavy," I warned.

"Please." He scoffed as he effortlessly pulls me out of the pool. "Light as a feather."

"Your just lucky your super strong." I smiled. He chuckled and disappeared into the conservatory then re-appeared with two towels. He wrapped a cream towel round me and rubbed my arms lightly.

"Thanks," I murmured, as I begun to dry myself. Picking up my clothes we walked into the conservatory and finished drying ourselves then put our clothes on.

"Do you want some food?" Nathan asked towel drying his hair a little.

"No thanks," I smiled.

"Gretch, you need to eat." He warned with a serious tone.

"Later..." I moaned passing him the towel and heading back to the front room.

"You won't be leaving this house until you've eaten something Gretch." Nathan warned again.

"Fine." I stared at him blankly.

"Film?" He cracked a smile, nodding eagerly Nathan went to the DVD rack and picked out a film.

"What are we watching?" I asked amused.

"Taken." He smiled.

"I love this film!" I laughed as I slid comfortably into the sofa. Nathan switched the tv on then disappeared into the kitchen for a second and returned with a bowl of popcorn. Smiling he sat next to me and we begun to watch the film.

"Gretch..." Nathan whispered in my ear softly.

"Mmmhhh." I mumbled opening my eyes.

"Its 3pm and you just missed a call from your brother." Nathan explained gesturing to my phone on the coffee table.

"Shit..." I mumbled sitting up a little. I'd been resting my head on Nathan's shoulder and my legs were hung over his. "Sorry..." I blushed swinging my legs off him.

"It's fine," Nathan smirked leaning forward on his elbows.

"I better call him back before he has a hissy fit." I rolled my eyes picking up my phone and re-dialing his number. He picked up on the second ring.

"Gretchen where have you been?"

"At school..." I muttered nervously glancing to Nathan who had a confused expression on his face.

"Really? Because it's funny that I got a call from the school earlier about your absence."

"Shit...." I cursed.

"I went to the school and guess who else isn't in?"

"Alright alright I was bunking! I just needed a little break you know?" I sighed.

"Gretch, just be home by 4pm." Bellamy instructed.

"Sure, love you."

"Love you too." He sighed before hanging up.

"Busted." I locked my phone and sunk back into the sofa.

"Gretch if you want me to speak to your brother I can, I don't want you getting punished for what I forced you to do."

"You didn't force me to do anything, I wanted to spend the day with you." I smiled at him turning to face him.

"I'm glad." He smiled before giving me a quick peck on the lips.

"Lookie what we have here!" Kendall chimed. "What have you kids been up to today?" Kendall jumped over the sofa and wedged himself between Nathan and I.

"I got well acquainted with your pool in the garden." I smiled as I saw Nathan smirk.

"Damn I missed that? Your going to have to re-create it with me," he smirked.

"How about no." I stared at him.

"She knows how to bite back." Mason appeared in the doorway.

"I sure do." I smiled. "Bellamy wants me back by 4pm by the way."

"Sure," Nathan nodded. "But first your eating." He glared before standing up and grabbing my hand im the direction of the kitchen.

"But I had some popcorn!" I protested.

"Doesn't count."

"Guys!" I cried for backup.

"Sorry Gretch, I'm with my brother on this one." Mason smirked pushing me out the room.

"Sit." Nathan instructed. I do as I'm told and sit on a stool at the breakfast bar, Kendall came and sat on my left and Mason on my right.

"You know if your making food your feeding us as well right?" Kendal raised his eyebrows.

"I gathered." Nathan rolled his eyes as he started pulling salad items from the fridge.

"Are you going to make me eat rabbit food?" I stare at him.

"It's called a chicken salad." Nathan replied over his shoulder. Pulling a face I crossed my arms over my chest.

"So you still after Taylor?" I turned the attention round on Kendall.

"I...eh..?"

"Take that as a yes then." I stifled a laugh along with Nathan. Kendall glared at me and immediately I stopped. "Look, if you want me to talk to her I can."

"Would you?" Kendall perked up.

"Sure," I smiled.

"Thanks Gretch." Kendall pulled me into a hug.

"Hands off." Nathan glowered standing across the counter, shooting him a look his features softened and he slid across three bowls and forks then sat next to Mason.

"So are you crushing?" I asked Mason as I stabbed some lettuce with my fork.

"Please, crushing's for children." He rolls his eyes.

"He means relationships are a weakness." Kendall chimed in smirking which earned another glare, I swear there's too much testosterone in this room right now.

"Just shut up and eat." Mason huffed. Pushing the food around my bowl I managed to eat all of it. I helped load the bowls into the dishwasher and tidy up.

"We best get you home." Nathan smiled picking up my bag for me.

"Two secs." I smiled as I dashed into the living room to grab my phone off the coffee table. "Bye boys," I hugged them both.

"See you Gretch." Mason smiled.

"I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot more of you now." Kendal smirked. Laughing at him I went back to Nathan and we drove back to my house.

"Thank you for today." I smiled as Nathan shut the car door after me.

"I think I should be the one thanking you." He smiled as he leaned against the hood of his car.

"Well you were the host." I laughed a little. "Plus you organised it."

"Gretch, I can come in and speak to Bellamy if you want."

"Honestly it's fine, I can handle my brother." I smiled up at him. "But seriously, thank you for today."

"Your welcome." He smiled before leaning in and cupping my face with his hands as he kissed me.

"I'll see you tomorrow," I whispered against his lips.

"Definitely. " He replied letting me go. Smiling I walked to the front door and opened it giving Nathan a brief wave as I shut the door behind me.

"I thought that was where you would be." Bellamy spoke, I turned round ready to face the consequences but as I turned Bellamy had an amused expression on his face.

"Your not angry?"

"Are you two a thing now?" He smiled, I smiled back which grew into a grin.

"Oh Bellamy!" I giggled as I ran and jumped into his arms as he laughed and spun around. "I never thought I'd feel like this again!"

"I'm happy for you Gretch." Bellamy beamed. "Does he know about 'he who shall not be named'?"

"He's not Voldemort," I giggled.

"He could be," Bellamy chuckled.

"True, but no he doesn't and I don't want him to know. Daniels in the past." I nodded.

"I'm so proud of you Gretch." Bellamy hugged me again.
