Sungkyu's POV

"What the heck is going on?" Soyu asked.

"I don't know," I answered. I continued playing a game in my phone. I know exactly why she's pissed off. Babysoul...I know she saw her too at the parking lot because she was with us a while back.

"Why is that girl here?" she sat furiously in front of me. "I already told you, I don't like her! I already failed her in her audition, and now she's here again?" I can feel she's looking at me intently. "Do you have something to do with this Kim Sungkyu?" she asked firmly.

I looked at her and met her eyes. "No, I have no idea. I was equally surprise!" I simply said. In all honesty, I was saying the truth. So, my plan to completely forget her will vanished, again! I think.

I was literally dumbfounded when I saw her earlier. I clearly didn't expect it. After a week of not seeing her, and greeting me with that shy smile, my heart raced unexplainably. So now I'm here, punishing my phone to atleast, calm myself.

"But how..." she sighed,frustrated.

"Why are you so furious about her? She didn't do anything wrong to you," I stated.

"Yeah. She didn't do anything to me. But she did something to you, and she might do it again," she threatened. I looked at her. It's been years since we discussed this.

"Am I right?" she asked.

I stared back to my phone. "I'm already over it."

"Then why did you bring her here to audition? Is she using you?" she asked. I knew she'd asked that since that incident happened. I was supposed to confront her then, and ask her why she was being biased during the audtion, but I remembered, what's the point?

Babysoul told me previously in the car she doesn't dream to become a singer anymore. And also, Soyu was my lifesaver, without her, I wouldn't be where I am now. I wouldn't be Infinite's leader, Kim Sunggyu.

"I just thought we need more talents in the company. I'm just being nice to the company," I reasoned.

"Are you telling the truth right now?" she asked.

"Then go ask her," I said and went back playing in my phone.

"I'm going to fire her immediately," she threathened.

I know she's my boss but, I still want to protect Babysoul."You can't," I said. I don't know where that came from. Bits of me are screaming how thankful I am to see Babysoul working at our company. Maybe its also a cure to my guilt, for causing her unemployment. And at the same time, because of some other reasons.

"Sungkyu!" she screamed.

"Hey! What's going on here?" the CEO of our company, Lee Jungyeop suddenly entered the office.

"Oppa! Talk to that person! He is out of his mind!" she started.

"What is this all about?" he asked. I remained silent. I felt nervous. I don't know if the CEO knows about my past with Babysoul or not. "That! That Babysoul girl is currently employed here in the company! How could you let this happen?!" he shouted to him. But the way Soyu talked to him implied that he does, he knows about Babysoul.

"Ah! Really? That's great! I watched the video of her audition and she's great. And I'm really disappointed in you Soyu, how could you reject such talent!" he stated which really surprised me! I almost fell in my seat.

"Oppa!"

"I entrusted you that seat that day but you were being personal!" he added.

"Oppa! How could you fight for that girl over me!" she ranted.

"Not because you are my sister I'm going to team up with your childishness everytime," he lectured.

Soyu pouted. "But she is a threat in the company!"

"Then we'll see. I have my plans, don't get in the way," the CEO simply stated. Is the CEO responsible for Babysoul's employment in the company? But why? I don't think they have any connections.

Thinking that the CEO have plans over this matter is creepy. I just hope it won't be bad to Babysoul.

"By the way, Sungkyu, what are you doing here?" the CEO asked. "You're dongsaengs are busy recording and you're here playing on your phone?"

I immediately stood up. "I'm going," I just said and left.

Babysoul's POV

I saw Miss Soyu walking towards the CEO's office and I felt nervous after seeing her. I'm afraid of her! I have the feeling she is going to eat me alive anytime!

I fell disoriented in my seat.

"Hey Sujeong, are you alright?" Hye Jin eonni asked later.

"Yes, Eonnie," I answered with an assuring smile.

Later, the door opened and Miss Soyu came out. She looked at me seriously and then walked straight towards me.

"You're lucky. But I will watch you intently, you'll see," she said with her brows arched.

I left there bewildered. What is her problem with me? Since the audition I can feel that she hates me. But what I don't know is, why? I didn't do anything wrong as far as I know.

"What's wrong?" Hye Jin eonnie again asked.

I shrugged. "I don't know either," I answered.

"Just let it pass. That's just how she is, you know being the CEOs sister and all, she bosses as around," she explained.

"Really!?" I can't believe it! She is the CEO's sister?

"Don't worry, the CEO doesn't really give her especial treatment."

Somehow, I felt a little comfortable with that.

I don't know what will happen next. I just hope I won't get fired.

Days went by.

Our busy days are not yet over. We're still running around preparing for Infinite's comeback. Unlike my first days in works, Infinite comes to Woollim building now almost everyday, practicing singing and dancing. Most staffs meets them everywhere around the building.

Unfortunately, I don't share the same fate as the other staff because Miss Soyu started to own me like her personal assistant. She kept on ordering me among others.

Like today, how many times have I heard my name got called? five times? Ten times? Twenty time?

"Sujeong!" I don't know anymore because I lost count.

"Yes ma'am!" I answered and rushed to Miss Soyu's office. She's been ordering me a lot, to do this, do that, go here, go there. Actually, I'm getting really tired already.

"Coffee," she just said. I rushed into coffee maker and made her what she requested. The problem is, I don't know what type of coffee she is requesting. I went back to her. "What kind of coffee do you want me to make?" I asked politely.

"Are you dumb? I already told you, creamy but not too sweet," she ordered almost shouting. I bowed at her and went to the coffeemaker immediately. I did what she requested.

"Here's your coffee ma'am," I said. She took a sip without even looking at me.

"What the heck is this!" she shouted. "This is too bland! Change it! NOW!" she ordered. I was to defend myself that I did what she instructed me to do but I chose to remain silent.

I added more cream into her coffee then went back at her.

And when she tasted it, "This is too SWEET!" she shouted angrily. I'm losing my patience already. I can feel that she's only messing with me. But again, she's my boss. "I told you to change it!" she fired.

"I'm sorry ma'am," I politely apologized and went to the coffeemaker again and did what she requested. Then I went to her and gave the coffee, but she said,

"I don't want to drink coffee anymore. Get lost."

I almost threw the coffee in her face. How could she do this to me? Why is she picking on me too much?

I can't define how tired I am today. I've been running around I don't even have a time to even seat for a while.Miss Soyu ordered me everywhere doing petty things like making her coffee, buying ice cream at the department store which is rather far from the company, going up and down the building delivering supplies which is not even in my job description, and worst, all those things she made me do today are not related to the company. All the things I did were for her personal gain.

I felt sorry for Miss Hye Jin whom I'm supposed to help. I felt that she feels sorry for me too, but she can't do anything about that. I just hope Miss Soyu's bullying would stop soon. Maybe this is just a part being a rookie employee in the company.

Now I'm carryingsome bottled water to Infinite's practice room.I think this is the only thing I did that somehow related to what I'm supposed to do. I heard they are going to practice overnight.I opened the door but the room was dark and no one was around.

Maybe they already finished practicing? I thought. Even though I'm in the same building with Infinite, it's almost impossible for me to see them or even learn things about them because I'm too confined at Miss Soyu's lare.

I didn't bother open the lights. I just entered sluggishly and I placed thebottled water at the side.

I'm really tired that I want to sleep. Maybe I could rest for a while? Miss Soyu might see me and order me to do something again.

I sighed and sat at the corner. I leaned my back at the wall and closed my eyes.

I'll just rest for a few minutes. I felt myself drifting and then I fell asleep.

Though I was asleep, my senses were quite awake. I felt someone opened the door. Some footsteps coming in, and then leaving.

The door closed. Later, the door opened again and some footsteps coming in.I'm just too tired to open my eyes. I just continued sleeping. Later, I felt someone held my head softly and let it rest on that someone's shoulder.

But who would let someone lend a shoulder for me?

Maybe I'm just dreaming. Yes.

I'm just dreaming.

HOYA's POV

We are having a really hectic schedule. Only three days left before our supposed comeback. I went to the practice room ahead of the other members so I can practice alone. And when I open the lights, I found Babysoul sleeping in the corner. Her head is already falling.

I looked at her for a while and felt bad for her. I know she is tired with all the works she has done today. I've seen her running around but I wasn't able to even greet her because she seemed busy. Even we we're busy.

I sat beside her and leaned my back at the wall. Slowly, I moved her head and placed them on my shoulder. That way, she could sleep comfortably.

"Mmmn..." she moaned. I stopped myself from breathing so I won't wake her up. Later, she didn't move a bit.

I smiled and slowly placed my head in her head and closed my eyes.

I might as well sleep like her. Practice can wait, but this moment wont.

SUNGKYU's POV

I rushed back to the practice room where I found Babysoul sleeping. My heart ached with the sight of her being all tired and wasted liked that. I stared at her for a while and then in an instinct, I rushed into my locker to find some pillow and blanket. She really seemed tired so I want to atleast give her the pillow so she could sleep comfortably.

But I was shocked with what I found when I entered the practice room. She's no longer alone. I found her and Hoya sleeping while seated, her head resting on Hoya's shoulder and Hoya's head on her head.

They looked like a couple. I felt like someone pinched my heart. I sluggishly went to the other side of the practice room and threw the things I'm holding at the corner because I think their useless now.

But, I can't help but look at them. Again, there's a weird pain in my heart. This feelings I don't want to entertain. I sighed. I promised to stop caring right? Like I never really knew her?

Later, I felt the other members coming one by one in the practice room so I called Hoya's attention.

"Hoya!" I called out. I must wake him up. As a leader, I must not let anyone disrupt our practice.

He immediately opened his eyes and gave me a questioning look.

"Wake up. We're going to start practicing soon," I said. The other members started coming in noisily.

"But! Babysoul, she's sleeping," he whispered.

"I don't care," I coldly said.

"Oh!" Woohyun reacted after seeing Hoya and Babysoul. "What's wrong?" he asked.

Dongwoo and Sungyeol entered lauging so loudly ."Shh! You're waking her up!" Hoya whispered furiously.

I looked at Babysoul and she's already awake, and looking at us in shock.

Babysoul's POV

Why is everyone so noisy? I asked myself. Is it the neighbor's kids again?

But the noise sounded masculine, not of kids. I slowly opened my eyes which at the same time went wide in shock after discovering the people looking at me at the moment.

"I'm sorry you woke up," Hoya said beside me. Then I realized all this time I was leaning in his shoulder!

"A-ah!" I cracked but no words went out of my mouth.

I immediately stood up in shame but because of that, I lost my balance so I flatly fell into Sungkyu's direction. Luckily, he was able to catch me. I held in his biceps and his arms automatically wrapped in my back. I looked at him and he is looking straight into my eyes. He didn't speak a word.

"Are you okay?" Hoya asked that made me go back to my senses.

"Y-Yeah!" I answered as I move away from Sungkyu. "I h-have to g-go," I said stammering.

"Okay," the other members just responded.

I immediately went to the door and ran away from there.

What have I done again?

I feel so ashamed of Hoya. Why am I sleeping in his shoulder?

And Sungkyu.

Why did I dare look into his eyes?

Why did I dare look at those eyes that no matter how hard I deny it to myself, it made my heart skip, 

gain?
