I wasn't going to deal with Hayes so I left the chat. You're probably wondering why are we arguing, well I honestly don't know why the day after we met he started being a jerk so I decided to play along.

As I was thinking there was a knock at the door "I'll get it!" I shouted but then remembered Alex is in LA for a few weeks, my mom is at work till 12am she's the main doctor at the hospital.

So I was talking to nobody.

I swing open the door to see a tall boy, long brown hair, chocolate brown eyes and a mesmerizing smile then I came to realize that it's either Cameron or Shawn

"Cameron?" I took a guess

"Yup!" He said excitedly my smile grew across my face and through my arms around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist.

"What the hell! How did you know where I live!?" I chuckled "Nash told me!" He smiled I opened the door wider so he could come in.

I lead him to the living room

"So what are you doing here?" I asked

"Well I wanted to check up on you since you left the group chat" he said

"Oh I'm fine, I just didn't want to deal with Hayes" I said

"Your "fine", that's a lie I'm not dumb" he quoted 'fine'

"Yes I know "I'm fine" is a lie girls tell but I actually mean it" I chuckled he glared at me which made me laugh "What!?" I punched his arm playfully "Nothing" he smiled I rolled my eyes and got up from the couch

"Where are you going?" Cam asked I took his hand and went upstairs into my room.

"Let me guess, light blue and white are your favorite colors?" He asked once he noticed all the blue and white in my room

"Yeah" I giggled I laid down on my bed and Cam joined me, we got on our phones.

We would show each other funny videos on Instagram here and there until I got a notification

I look over at Cameron and give him a glare he smiles innocently causing me to roll my eyes

Cameron: Currently laying in bed with Layla

Carter: What!?

Layla: Not like that!😂

Layla: If you guys think I'm crying, I'm not, Hayes isn't worth tears I could care less what he thinks about me

Cameron: It's true she actually looks happy and no sadness in her eyes

I through my phone on my bed angrily

"Ow!" Cameron said "Oh sorry I forgot you were there" I said I got up from my bed and put on my shoes

"I'll be back in a bit" I told Cameron he nodded and I left

Liam only lives 2 houses down so I took my penny board and skated over there.

I rang the doorbell once I reached the front door, Liam opened the door shirtless and with a smile which grew bigger once he saw me.

"Hey babe" he kissed me cheek "Don't call me babe" I said in a serious tone I usually don't care but I'm mad right now.

"Okay?" He laughed he opened the door wide enough for me to walk in but I stayed at the front door

"Why did you tell Hayes that we are together?" I said calmly "I didn't" he said I could tell he was lying because he looked away when he said that but when he tells the truth he can look me in the eyes

"Stop lying to me Liam!" I snapped "Ok fine I did but that's only because I don't want you with him, you're mine Layla, I'm not about to lose my girl to him! You mean so much to me, you bring the good in me, out, I changed for you Layla!" His voice rising "I'm not yours" was all I said ignoring everything else he said before I got on my board and skated back to my house.

I entered my house slamming the door shut I drop my board on the floor sliding down the door as I run my hand through my hair bringing my knees to my chest as I sighed

"Oh good your ba- Hey what's wrong!?" Cameron said running down the stairs to my side I shook my head saying nothing I wasn't crying or anything I'm just frustrated.

I might have just lose my best friend to a guy I barely even know
