Alex chuckled as she saw the looks of amazed wonder on her little sister and her girlfriend's faces as the Javelin traveled through space.

And they weren't the only ones. Alex's fiance Felicity was just as amazed, since this was Felicity's first mission offworld and being a science nerd, she was completely geeking out and Alex knew that she was having the scarab that controlled her armor take pics and sending them to Cisco just to rub it in his face that she got to space before he did.

The rest of their travel companions, J'onn, Hawkman and Hawkgirl looked just as amused by Felicity, Karen and Donna's reactions as she was, since like Alex, they were all used to intergalactic travel and it didn't have the same effect on them.

Though Alex had managed to keep Felicity on task enough to focus on using the trip to finally do some wedding planning, since Kara did need to know how big of a shindig she was going to be paying for, since despite Alex's protests, Kara had insisted on paying for her sister's wedding, since it's not like she couldn't afford it.

The planning they'd gotten done so far was Kara would of course be Alex's maid of honor while Felicity had chosen one of her oldest friends, second-in-command of the Weapons Division of Argo Enterprises and the daughter of her mentor Ted Kord, Jennifer or Jenny Kord, as her maid of honor.

Jenny was also one of the few people in Palermo City who knew what Alex and Felicity's real jobs were and she was the chief scientist behind some of their best products.

But anyways, in addition to maids of honor, Alex was also making Karen a bridesmaid and Felicity was doing the same with Donna and Felicity had even asked J'onn to walk her down the aisle, since her own father was on both the FBI and the Justice League's most wanted list, so even if Felicity could find him to invite him to the wedding, he'd likely be locked up as soon as the league saw the Calculator.

Anyways, all thoughts about their wedding exited Alex's mind as an alert came up on the controls.

"Please tell me the ship isn't about to explode." Karen asked and Alex chuckled as she took the ship's controls.

"No, it's just the alert that we're approaching our destination, which means I need to power down the hyperdrive so we don't zip through our destination at lightspeed." Alex said as she began doing just that.

"I still can't believe Star Wars was right about hyperspace technology being real." Donna said and J'onn chuckled.

"Every once and awhile science fiction is actually science fact, even if the world doesn't know it yet. I think that everyone in this ship is proof of that since we have 3 aliens, an alien clone, an amazon, a space cop and a woman wearing high tech power armor." J'onn pointed out.

"Touche." Karen said, since he had a point as Alex brought the ship out of hyperspace so they could see a planet in front of them.

"Welcome to New Genesis. Home of the New Gods that aren't conquering assholes." Alex said, since she knew that there were two sets of New Gods. The New Gods of New Genesis, who they'd be meeting on their arrival and they hoped to make official allies of Earth through some kind of treaty, while the other New Gods came from the planet Apokolips, one of the worst kinds of hell in the universe and home to the Justice League's most dangerous and powerful enemy. Darkseid.

"We're being hailed." J'onn said as he opened a comm channel to let a communication come in.

"Orion." Alex said, recognizing the New God.

"Greetings Lantern." Orion said politely.

"I'm here as a representative of the Justice League. The Green Lantern Corp is sending other lanterns as their representatives." Alex reminded him, since the Corp had felt that Alex might be a bit too biased towards earth to represent both the corp and the league and in this case, she actually agreed with them, since in this circumstance, her obligations to earth outweighed her obligations to the Corp.

"I'm aware. The New Gods welcome you and the other members of the Justice League to New Genesis." Orion said and Alex nodded.

"We're ready to receive landing coordinates." Alex said.

"Coordinates won't be necessary. Just follow the light beam." Orion said as the transmission cut out.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Felicity asked, right as they noticed a man who kind of reminded Alex of the Human Torch tapped on their window.

"I guess that's the Lightbeam." J'onn said with a chuckle.

"You heard Orion, let's follow him." Alex said as she steered the ship to follow Lightbeam as he guided them towards the planet.
