Kabir's POV

'What?' I shouted.

'Yes. Before marriage, my mom didn't tell me anything about sex but told me to never say no to my husband and told me to agree with everything my husband wants to do on bed even if I don't like it and she also told me to endure it if he turns animal on bed even if I didn't like it but on our honeymoon when he took me to your hotel, he explained me about what happens between a couple during honeymoon but said that he will be intimate with me after we get to know each other properly. We used to hold hands and sleep in each other's arms but we never went further than that,' she said.

I don't know what I should feel right now.

'You mean in the eight months of your marriage he never touched you?'

'No. He wanted to touch me after we get to know each other better but god took him away from me.' she replied.

'But you are the first person I am sharing it with. I have not told it to anyone, not even my mom or my colleagues because Sohum asked me to lie that we had sex if conversation arises as people will not understand,' she said.

'So, what you do to me are the things I only read in mafia books,' she continued and I started laughing.

'You have not even watched explicit videos?' I asked.

'No.'

'God! I should control myself. You are really innocent,' I said and caressed her cheeks.

'Your mom was right about one thing. Men generally turn into wild animals but you can say no if you don't like it,' I told her.

'Why men only want sex? My Sohum was so nice. I have heard my colleagues talking about their husbands. There are marks on their bodies as they get too rough and they do it everyday. My Sohum decided to wait till we get to know each other better,' she said.

Your Sohum had some problem which I need to find out.

I have to do a checking through my private investigator about Sohum. I am sure something was wrong with Sohum.

'Baby, once you start doing it, you will enjoy it. You will enjoy the pain, and you will also want to do it everyday,' I told her.

But I pray that you don't enjoy it so much that you cheat on me.

I got a message and took out my mobile to see Dev, my private investigator messaged me saying 'Done.' and I typed 'okay' and kept my mobile aside.

'So what did your mom tell about it?' I asked.

'Keep quiet. We should not talk about all this,' she said making me laugh.

'Okay, baby,' I said.

She is really innocent. I should stop my primal desires and take slow with her.

'Now, get changed and we can go to have lunch outside,' I said as I want to make her happy after everything she has went through today.

While coming here, I saw a park. Let's go there,' she said while we were coming out of the restaurant after having Masala Dosa.

'Okay. Let's go. It's been years since I visited a park,' I said as we started walking towards the park.

She was looking so beautiful in simple white kurti with black leggings.

I held her hands and she looked at me and smiled.

I can't believe that nobody has touched her or been intimate with her other than me.

I am relieved to know nothing happened between them in my hotel.

'Let's go,' she said excitedly as we arrived in front of the park.

'When we visited your farmhouse, the day I decided to explore the city alone, I  visited the park alone and was feeling so awkard but now I am happy as you are with me.' Her childlike excitement made me laugh.

'You are happy?' I asked.

'I am very happy,' she said making me smile.

I pray that I can make you so happy that you don't need any other man.

'Let's walk around the whole park,' she said and I nodded.

'Are you happy, Kabir?' she asked.

'I am very happy, Kavya.'

'Good night,' I messaged Kavya.

After roaming around the park and clicking numerous selfie, I wanted to take her to a mall so she can buy anything she wanted but she wanted to go to a Trampoline park as she had seen it in korean dramas but she had never gone there so we decided to go to a trampoline park.

I just clicked pictures of her enjoying in Trampoline park even though she wanted me to join but I refused and then we had noodles for dinner and I dropped her home.

I called my private investigator, Dev.

'Hello, sir. The work is done. From tomorrow Rakesh Sahni and Neeraj Sehgal's children will not go to that school,' he said.

'Good. I will send you the payment. Can you do another work for me?' I asked.

'I will send you a image. I want to know each and every detail about him as soon as possible. Each and every detail. I will give you any price you want,' I said.

'Okay, sir,' he said and I cut the call and paid him for the work he did today.

And, send him screenshot of Sohum's instagram page. His page was public. He used to post numerous pictures of him and in his bio he has written where he worked at and Dev messaged me that he will find out about him in few days.

I laid on the bed and again my blood boiled remembering the conversation between Rakesh and Neeraj but I am glad that from tomorrow they will not be seen anywhere near Kavya.

'Slept?' Again, I messaged her.

Kavya :- No, reading a book.

Kabir :- Which book?

Kavya :- Sleeping with my Mafia boss🙈'

Kabir :- What a name🤣 Are there any hot scenes?

Kavya :- I am still on the first chapter.

Kabir :- Okay, baby. Enjoy. I will sleep now.

Kavya :- Bye. I will call you tomorrow.

I love how she is so easy. She does not like branded things even though I would buy anything she puts her hands on. She buys everything from a local market than buying it from branded store but mainly she likes simple things like books and korean drama and going out and playing like a kid.

'Hello, baby. Reached home?' I asked as soon as I picked up the call.

'Principal called me and said Nishant and Meera left the school due to personal reasons,' she said.

'Really? Good that you don't have to deal with them again,' I said.

'Did you do something?' she asked.

'No. I just asked my private investigator,  Dev to investigate everyone around them and asked him to send the video I took of them talking about you and said that if they will not leave the school, I will send the video to their wife and each and one of their relatives and all their colleagues, including their respective bosses,' I told her the truth.

'But, kids did not do anything,' she said.

'Nishant was such a studious boy and Meera loved me very much,' she screamed.

'Kavya, calm down. They will get many new school. But, they can't talk shit about my girlfriend and get away with it,' I said and realized that I am screaming.

'Thank you for doing it for me,' she said softly.

'Will you come to my house today?' I asked.

'I have to check exam papers. I will come directly on Friday.'

'Okay, then. We will be alone on Saturday and Sunday as Shalini aunty will be going to some farmhouse for the weekend with her daughter's family and she wanted Raj to join as her grandson, Gaurav will also be there so I will also work hard the next few days and took a leave on Saturday and Sunday to spend time with you.'

'Don't overwork yourself, Kabir. You can go to work on weekends. I am used to staying alone,' she said.

'But you don't have to stay alone now,' I said.

'Madam, today also you will be coming with us?' Raj asked as they sat in the car.

I finished all my work by afternoon so that I can come to pick them up.

'Yes, Raj,' she replied.

'Raj, I want to tell you something,' I said as I started the car.

'Me and your madam are dating,' I said and I could see them shocked.

'Why do you have to tell him?' Kavya lean forward and whispered in my ear.

'He should know about it,' I said.

'Really? Wow! That mean you will become my bhabhi?' Raj asked kavya.

'Not now, but soon,' I said before kavya could say something.

'I am happy for you Bhai. Madam is the best,' he said making me smile.

'Thank you, Raj,' she said with a smile on her face.

'I want to talk to you something after lunch,' I said and she nodded her head.

'What were you going to talk about?' she asked after we came in my room after lunch.

'Sit on the bed,' I said and she sat on the bed and I sat beside her.

'I did something which I should not have done,' I said and she raised her eyebrows.

'I asked my private investigator, Dev, to do an investigation on Sohum,' I told her.

'What? Are you crazy to investigate my dead husband?' she asked and got up angrily.

'Baby, please sit down,' I said and made her sit on the bed.

'You are really crazy, Kabir. You don't have any right to investigate my dead husband. Why did you do it?' she shouted.

'Because something was not feeling right. He seemed odd to me,' I told her the truth.

'Why? Because he was very good?' she shouted.

'Baby, calm down.'

'How can you ask me to calm down when you investigated my dead husband.' For the first time I was seeing her so angry and she has the right to get angry.

'Tell me, what made you invest him?' she asked.

'Frankly, the way you talked about him, he seemed too good so something seemed fishy to me,' I told her the truth.

'Anyways, did your investigation? You didn't find anything, right? Of course, you will not find anything. He was the best man,' she said

'Why are you quiet? What did you find?' she asked after few seconds and I took out my mobile to show the pictures Dev has send me and I could see the terror on her face and tears started rolling down her cheeks.

'This is his boss, Aanchal. She came to the funeral and hugged me and cried non-stop,' she said while wiping her tears.

'She is 36 years right now, but when Sohum joined the company she was 30 years old and Sohum was 22 years old and in few months their relationship started,' I told her.

'So Sohum never loved me?' she asked while looking at me.

'So, everything was a lie?' she continued and started crying loudly so I pulled her in my arms.

'They used to take days off and spend days in her farmhouse,' I told her.

'He is looking so happy with her. Kabir, everything was a lie,' she said and was still crying.

'She is married and she was also cheating on her husband like he was cheating on you,' I told her the truth.

'So each and every moment we spend together was a lie?' she asked again.

'Baby, calm down,' I said.

'Every sweet things he said to me, the care he showed me, everything was a lie?'

'I don't know, baby.'

'He used to have sex with her, and here I thought he was giving time to our relationship so that it can mentally be strong before we take the next step.' she said while crying.

'If he was in love with her, why did he marry me?' she screamed loudly.

'I don't know, baby,' I said and let her cry in my arms.

'He never loved me, Kabir. Everything was a lie. Now, I am remembering all the moments we spend together. Everything was a lie,' she asked as I caressed her arms.

'I don't know.'

'How didn't I find out? I am the most stupid girl in the world. Now that I remember it, you know there were signs, he never used to let me touch his mobile. He used to say that he has office on some Sunday also, and like a stupid woman, I thought maybe, he really has office on Sunday, and he was enjoying with Aanchal while I was preparing his favourite food for dinner and wait for him,' she said and now her crying stopped slowly.

'They both must be laughing at me, right? Thinking that I am so stupid. At the funeral also, she was crying continuosly. I thought that maybe she got emotional as her employee died. Shit! I am so stupid. I didn't even realize that time also,' she told me.

'You were not stupid. You were in love,' I said.

'Why did he marry me if they were in love?' she asked.

'Both of them only knows it,' I said.

'Can you take me to his office?' she asked.

'Baby, calm yourself down. Let's take a nap,' I said.

'No. I want to meet her,' she said.

'Now, please rest. We will go in the evening,' I said.

'You will take me, right?' I asked.

'Yes. I promise you that we will go,' I said.

'Now, lay on the bed,' I said and she nodded and laid on the bed.

'He really never loved me?' she asked softly as I put duvet on her.

'Eight months of my life were a lie?' she asked becore I could answer her previous question.

'Three years I spend mourning the husband who I thought loved me very much was a lie, Kabir?' Numerous questions were running in her head.

'I don't know anything. Sleep, baby,' I said and was leaving but she held my hand and I turned around and looked at her.

'Please, sleep beside me,' she said softly.

'I will change my clothes and come, baby,' I said and she left my hand.

'Come quickly,' she said and I took my clothes and went in the washroom.

After seeing her condition, I think that I should not have told her but she should know the truth.

I changed into my clothes and went and laid down beside her.

She turned towards me and hug me tightly.

'I am not stupid, Kabir. He treated me very nicely. He used to come from office and we used to go for walking in the park, and on some days we used to watch movies together. We spent many beautiful moments, Kabir. I am not stupid,' she told me as I put one of my arms under her head and she snuggled closer to me.

'Don't think so much, baby.'

'How can I stop thinking, Kabir?' she shouted as tears again started rolling down her cheeks.

'My whole marriage was a lie,' she continued as I wiped her tears.

'We will go to her office and talk with her, okay? Now, calm down and close your eyes,' I kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes.
