Who wants double update?

Kabir's POV

Today morning, princess messaged me that she will switch off her mobile as she will be gone to an urgent office meeting and there will be no network.

I didn't understand what is the connection between no network and switching off the mobile.

But before I could ask her, she said that we will search for Kavya after she is back and then she messaged that she is late for meeting and will leave.

So I just typed 'okay' as she was busy.

But before leaving, she asked me for a promise to not stay under her building and I agreed because I want her help.

I can't ask princess to leave everything and search for Kavya as she has her life and work also.

So, now I have to stay few days more without trace of her.

I just hope she is not with Tarun but I think they are together.

God!

I miss her so much.

I miss her smile, her laugh, everything.

I remembered our kiss which changed everything.

She was my first kiss and I realized, I was her first kiss too which surprised me.

That means, Sohum didn't kiss her. Maybe he was not into kissing. During college, I heard some guys talking that they touch their girlfriend everywhere except their lips. That's crazy, and I never understood the reason of it.

How can you not kiss the person you love?

How can you not feel their sweet lips?

I will never understand it, but, maybe, Sohum was one of those guys.

I feel bad for Sohum that he could not feel those red luscious lips of her and I am glad I was the one to feel her lips.

Shit! I should not think all this otherwise I will not be able to work.

While I was having breakfast, I looked at Raj and yesterday's conversation came in my mind.

I love Raj.

I love my baby brother.

All these years, I thought that I care for him and can die for him, but I don't love him but now I realize, I love Raj.

'Raj,' I called him and he looked at me.

'Yes, bhai?' he left his sandwich and looked at me.

I left half of my sandwich, and went to wash my hand.

'Bhai, why have you not finished your breakfast?' Raj asked while I was washing my hand.

I turned around and walked towards Raj and knelt down infront of him surprising Aunty also who was looking at us.

'Bh... bhai, why are you kneeling infront of me?' he asked.

I took both of his hands in mine, and I felt something and realized that one of his hands were filled with tomato ketchup but still I did not leave his hand.

'Bhai, stand up,' he said making me smile.

'Raj, I love you,' I said and his eyes widened.

'Love' word felt so foreign in my mouth.

'What?' he seemed so surprised.

'Bhai, you love me?' he asked.

'I love you so so much,' I said and hugged him tightly. He also hugged me back and I felt something wet on the back of my white shirt realizing, that he had hugged me with his ketchup hands and it made me smile.

'I love you too, Bhai,' he said and I broke our hug and kissed his forehead.

'Whenever I say that I love you, you never say it back but today, I am happy that you said it. I am so so happy,' he said.

'I got up and pulled the chair in front of him and sat on it.

'Why do you love me?' I asked.

'Because you are the best Bhai in the world,' he said making me smile.

'Okay, now let's get ready for school. I will go and change my shirt,' I said and got up.

'Bhai, today I am so happy,' he said with a big smile on his face. I looked at aunty to see that she also had a smile on her face.

Yesterday night I could not sleep. Hell, I am not sleeping from the day she left. Today, I got back from work and after having dinner with Raj, now I had come into my bedroom. Today, during my round, I had asked one of my chef how to find someone who has left town and is not picking up my calls. He looked at me as if I had grown two horns.

He suggested me to make instagram and facebook account.

I also surprised myself by asking him this but desperate time calls for desperate measures.

I made an instagram and facebook account with some fake name so that I could see if Kavya has posted anything. I don't like to be on social media but for her I can do anything.

I type her full name but didnt find anything. Maybe she also does not like using social media account.

I decided to check account of Tarun on instagram.

I typed 'Tarun' and their were many Tarun. I don't know his surname. I scrolled downward until a profile picture of Tarun in black suit caught my attention. I clicked on it and thankfully, his account was not private.

The first picture which he posted two hours ago made my blood boil.

He and Kavya were standing together. Kavya had wore a pink saree but did not do any make up.

I caressed her face.

God!

I am seeing her after so long. She looked beautiful but tired and sad. Her smile looked fake. I zoomed into the picrure and my blood boiled looking at his hands wrapped around her shoulder.

I was right. She is with Tarun. But, where is this place? They clicked it in front of Dominos and he wrote in the caption- 'I am lucky that this beautiful lady said 'yes.,

Said yes?

What does that mean?

She said 'yes' to what?

His comment section was off.

I called princess but as expected her mobile was switched off.

What should I do?

I will go crazy.

To calm myself down, I went to the terrace where again, I remembered her. Us, sleeping under the stars.

She is not leaving my mind. I thought of standing under her building but I made a promise to princess that I will not go and spend the night under her building.

I feel close to her while standing her building. I feel that she is with me but I don't want to break my promise.

Again, I looked into Tarun's instagram page. His page was filled with his solo pictures expect the picture he posted with Kavya.

I decided I should do something so I messaged him.

Me- 'Where are you guys?'

His reply came in a second.

Tarun- 'Who is this?'

Me- 'This is Kabir.'

Tarun- 'Oh! Hi!' Why did you not open your account with your own name?'

He was asking unnecessary thing which made me angry.

Me- 'Can you shut the fuck up and tell me where you guys are?'

Tarun- 'Do you think this attitude of yours will make me tell you where we are?'

His reply shut me up.

Me- 'please,'

Tarun- 'What? Say it again. Wait! This is my number. Call me and say what you typed just now.'

He said and gave me his number. I called the number and he picked it up in few seconds.

'Please,' I said as soon as he picked up the call.

'I will tell you where we are after some days,' he said.

'What? Why?'

'Because you deserve it.She left Mumbai to be away from you as you hurt her a lot. We decided to see few places in town to make her feel better as she looked sad so I will tell you after she feels somewhat better.' he replied.

'She told you everything?' I asked.

'No. I guessed that she was hurt as she looked so sad and I knew that only you can hurt her. I realized there is something between you guys, the first time I saw you,' he said.

'So, she called you and asked you to take her away from me?' I asked.

'She just asked my help. Leave all that, I am just saying that today I can't tell you where we are as she needs some space from everything,' he said.

'She told you that she needs some space from me?' I asked.

'No. She didn't say it directly but I felt it when she called me and said that she wants to get away from everything for few days,' he said

'Just tell me one thing, are you guys staying together?

'Yes, we are staying together.'

'Are you guys sleeping on the same bed?' I asked directly.

'No. We sleep in separate rooms. Now are you relieved?' he asked and he was right. I felt relieved.

'Are you guys in Pune?' I asked.

'No. So don't think of going to Pune,' he said making me smile.

'But today I can't tell you where we are. I will tell you after some days,' he continued.

'Why are you helping me?' I asked.

'Because, as a man, I understand your feelings,' he replied.

'Thank you for everything,' I said.

'I thought you guys are together after the picture you posted and that too with the caption you wrote,' I continued.

'That I did for you. When kavya told me, that I can post our photo as you dont have social media account, I knew that in coming days you will make an account. I knew you will find me on social media but I didn't thought that you will find it so soon,' he said.

'I opened it to check where she was but fid not found her account so I decided to find you,' I told him.

'She does not have any social media account,' he said.

'Tarun, I ----

'What? Why did you get quiet? Ask whatever you want to ask,' he said when I got quiet.

'About the caption under your photo with Kavya?' I asked.

'The caption was about her saying 'yes' to click a picture with me. I wrote it for you. Now, I will delete our picture,' he said and I got relaxed.

She is still mine.

'I am sorry for not treating you right,' I apologized.

'Now, you will not be rude with me, right?'

'No. I will never be rude with you,' I said.

'You helped me when I needed it the most,' I continued.

'Okay. Bye,' he said.

'Tarun,' I called him.

'Yes?' he asked.

'You are a good person,' I said.

'That I know,' he said making me smile.

'Please make her happy. Show her places. Try new foods with her. Take her everywhere. Roam whole city with her. I will wait till she feels better. Now, that I know she is safe with you, I will wait until you tell me where you both are,' I said

'Okay. Okay. I will. Now, bye, I have to go for dinner,' he said and cut the call.

Finally. I know she is safe and trying to feel better after the hurt I caused.

I got a whatsapp notification and opened to see pictures of Kavya.

In one of the pictures, she is eating ice-cream.

In another picture, she is having chole bhature.

I can't know where they are because the picture he posted on instagram or whatever he has send me now has no things like, shop with address under it. If I could find one shop and an address under I would have known where they are but there is nothing behind the pictures so I don't know where they are.

In another picture, she is standing under a tree and smiling at the camera.

I smiled looking at it.

She is looking so beautiful in the pink saree. I caressed her face.

'Sorry, Kavya. I hurt you a lot. I am so sorry. These are the worst days of my life. If I have to choose between staying away from you or fight my demons, I will fight my demons to be with you. I still don't understand how love can be beautiful when it can only destroy people's life but now I know that I love you and I hope our love doesn't destroy us,' I said and laid on bed trying to sleep.
