Who else would like to see Steven go from being a pretty mean character towards Spinel who is constantly trying to use her to his own advantage (cause that's just the kind of person he is and has been since the beginning of this AU) but Spinel (the original Spinel as featured above) is too oblivious to see it and she insists on being his friend and then she ends up eventually breaking him down slowly, turning into a tsundere-like character who tries to act mean but is always thinking the opposite of what he's saying? Eventually she'll run off upset by something he says that went too far, and he'll actually feel like shit and try to get her back.

I dunno, just found it to be an interesting concept.
