Amelia's POV:

Amelia's alarm clock started blaring Calimari Inkantation, the sleepy agent smacked the snooze button and continued to try and sleep. The events of the day before ran through her head, Recovering Rasputin from the Cabal, learning where Bridgett was, and Ana and Jinju looking startled when they got back from talking with Rasputin... it was all a massive blur. Amelia finally rolled out of bed and looked at the time...

10:55 AM

Amelia: Squit

Amelia raced to get her gear and equipment and head to the meeting that was being held at eleven. She nearly fell right into the wall on the way out, she raced towards the main command center, two inklings, one octoling, and Sid waited by Rasputin's bunker entrance. Ana stood there flipping A knife through the air.

Ana: There you are, follow me

Ana's eyes changed like before and the entrance slid open, the staircase was lit with orange lights unlike the night before when it was dimly lit. The group followed Ana down the staircase and into the warmind's vault with the Inklings giving Sid a few judgemental looks.

Inkling Girl: What's the matter with you?

Sid snarled and picked up the pace while holding his Hydra splatting in one hand, the inklings began to whisper about how sid should "Go back to where he came from" and "They should have left him for dead" this angered Sid as he stormed up towards Ana trying to get away from the inklings. Ana pressed her hand against the door as it slid open into the massive bunker, it's walls were spray-painted with an orange and white logo of the Squidbeak Splatoon.

Octoling: Whoa...

Ana: Cool huh? I and Rasputin decided to throw this together as a temporary base of operations for operation Motherboard

Amelia: What's operation Motherboard?

Ana smiled and walked over to the monitor and pressed a button, the floor slid open and nine chairs surrounded a black table, four chairs lined each of the longer sides of the table with the ninth chair at the head of the table, in the center a holographic image of Inkopolis Plaza flickered on. The group sat down with Ana at the head seat, Amelia looked over at the hologram to notice that the Plaza's tower was splintered and broken and robotic creatures patrolled the streets.

Ana: Recently we gathered intel about an Octoling vital to our mission being held under the plaza...

Amelia smirked at where this was leading, her heart couldn't stop racing and eventually, she realized she was smiling like an idiot. 'thank god no one noticed that' she thought to herself as Ana filled the rest of the group in on who Bridgett is.

Ana: -And that's who Bridgett is from what I know, anyway everyone I'd like to formally invite you to operation Motherboard... Any questions?

Inkling Girl: Why is there an underground civilization beneath Inkopolis? why not just live in inkopolis?

Amelia: That's because it was an Octarian hot spot two years ago.

Inkling Boy: And you know this because...

Amelia: Because I was the one who got the great Zapfish back

Octoling, Inklings, And Sid: WHAT!!??

Amelia: Yep and now that you know you need to keep it a secret

Inklings: fine

Sid: Ok

Octoling: I knew about the squid beak splatoon but never about an agent 3

Amelia: well that's me and who are you exactly?

Octoling: Oh I'm Tracy

Inkling Boy: I'm Blue

Inkling Girl: I'm Orange

Sid: You know me already but my name's Sid

Amelia: And I'm Amelia

Ana: Now that we have formal introductions out of the way...

Ana pressed a button on her dashboard and the hologram shifted to show one of the robotic aliens, they had a single white eye in the center of their forehead, it's head had hornlike pieces of machinery with the same white substance as the eye in certain parts.

Ana: This is a Vex, more specifically  Thideos the Unbroken, one of Trex's Superminds and his right-hand man, he's the guy in charge of this whole fiasco

Amelia nodded as Ana explained the whole plan of how to get past the Vex and how they could short circuit them with ink and they had no need for the guardian weapons, Amelia focused on the hologram of sector five in the Valley.

Amelia: Wait there was an old kettle blocked off from use any idea what that was for Tracy?

Tracy: It couldn't be...I thought they gave up on that project decades ago...

Amelia: What project?

Tracy: Project moonlight... It's an old octarian teleportation hub that leads to a super high-security prison... if they took Bridgett there then the whole plan is impossible for an inkling or guardian...

Amelia: However you're an Octoling could you get us through?

Tracy: Absolutely! I worked on the whole facility's blueprints I can get us in

Ana smiled and walked over to a small panel in the wall and entered a passcode, the wall opened up to reveal a big white room filled with weapons and gear, the gear that caught the groups eyes where the hero gear sets. Ana smiled and handed Orange and Blue there hero gear which looked almost identical to three's minus the cape, and handed Tracy her gear which was a pair of hero headphones, a Hero hoodie, and a pair of hero runners. Sid kept his jacket and instead only whore the headset and the runners. Blue and orange picked out the hero roller for Blue and the hero charger for Orange, Sid stuck with his Hydra while Tracy chose to use the newest hero weapon that had been created; the Hero shot pro.

Amelia: We got this...team
