Zero's POV:

Zero felt the rush of air zipped by as the massive sphere sliced through the air like A knife. Zero slowed his fall with the wings staying just behind the sphere, Zero knew where he was and what was in that sphere. The markings on the walls, The noises of Octarian and Fallen echoing throughout the Complex, and the sphere, This was X-Max A maximum-security prison filled with ruthless savages, cunning masterminds, and the worst of all The Seven Raiders. There was Viskull the Fallen marksman, Ravex the Cabal Gladiator, Servex the Hive witch, Trex the Vex supermind, Pyro A pyromaniac Flame wraith, Shadow the Skeleton Gambler, and Vishar the taken marauder. Zero had put each and every one of them in that sphere. The sphere that just crashed through A Catwalk right above the Arena at the bottom of the prison. Zero fell into the now hanging catwalk as he collided with A piece of rubble, Zero Stabbed the metal with A knife and slowly slid down the metal. Zero landed and quickly reloaded his hand cannon. the sound of screeching thralls flooded his ears as they surrounded him, he made quick work of the hive with A three-round solar burst from his hand, he quickly dispatched some Cabal with A few knives. He jumped onto A ledge and summoned his shadow-shot bow to obliviate the rest of the Cabal.

Zero Spun towards the voice only to receive A face full of Energy bolt. The blast knocked Zero into A mob of Thralls, Warbeasts, and Dregs. The Mass of foes began to claw at Zero, slicing his skin. Zero Vaulted into the air and threw A volley of Smoldering knives, each logged into its target's head. Zero began to walk over to His hand cannon as Sunflower began to heal his wounds, his black blood dissipating, and his wounds sealing.

A thin bolt of energy collided with sunflower sending her sprawling into A wall, her eye flickered A few times before disappearing completely. A massive shockwave of light pulsed from the ghost's shell, sending Zero flying into A wall.

Zero: Sunflower?

Zero shook with anger, he activated golden gun and aimed it at Ravex who was now charging at him, the Cabal's twin War Cleavers at the massive warrior's side dragging them across the floor, Zero was about to pull the trigger when he felt A cold blade pierce his chest, Zero looked down and saw A black and white Fallen Dagger sticking out of his torso.

Zero: Vishar

The Taken Marauder kicked Zero off the blade. Zero rolled onto his back clutching his side, Black ink pouring out of the wound. Around him stood the seven Raiders. Each one of the Foes smiled and laughed at Zero in this vulnerable state.

Ravex: I say we decapitate him

Servex: No we sacrifice him, you dimwit.

Vishar: ENOUGH!!! WE LEAVE HIM TO ROT AND THAT'S FINAL UNDERSTOOD!?

The Raiders nodded and walked towards the hangar doors. Zero tried to stand but fell back down to the ground. Zero was covered in Black ink now, he had no quick way of chasing after the Raiders and even at that, he couldn't make it even if he had Away. No ghost equals no second chance, this was Zero's final life.

Zero: *Groan* I'm sorry Callie

Zero fell to the ground coughing up his blood, his eyes grew heavy as he began to lose conciseness, and began to bleed everywhere he stubbled towards sunflower's Remains, in one hand, he picked his companion's remains up and with the other opened A portal back to the outpost. He exited the portal and stubbled over to Callie.

Zero: Callie

Callie turned around her smile instantly replaced with A look of pure horror and sorrow.

Callie: No-no-no this can't be happening! I CAN'T LOSE YOU AGAIN!

Callie hugged Zero tight she felt the absence of sunflower and knew that there where no respawn points around that worked. Callie pulled Zero closer as tears began to stream down her face.

Zero: Cal I'm with you to the end of the line, nothing's going to stop me from defying death to get back to you and everyone else.

Zero stumbled backward out of the hug and tripped over the edge of the outpost and down into the abyss that was Octo-canyon.

Bobble's POV:

Bobble, Mask, And the rest of team blue wherein her apartment, her roommate, and friend, Berry was laying on the couch mumbling something about Deadlight, and Seven Ravagers? 'whatever those where' Bobble thought to herself, she hated seeing her friend like this. Berry's Bubble-Gum pink tentacles were wrapped around specs who was A red mess. He obviously had A crush on the sweet little inkling but didn't want to show it. Goggles was just as upset as Bobble. Berry and Goggles had grown up in the same town together and had been friends for A long time before Goggle's family moved, apparently Berry's family was killed by aliens. It scared Bobble just thinking about it.

Headphones: Is she normally like this?

Bobble: No, Berry's never been like this before and we were in the middle of cooking when her legs gave out.

Bobble looked over at her sleeping friend, sweat was dripping down Berry's face, her body was shaking and gave off a faint white glow.

Bobble, Headphones, Mask, Goggles, and Specs: WHAT IN THE WORLD!?

Berry sat up and opened her eyes, they glowed A light Cyan and she spoke with an almost owl-like voice.

Berry: 

Light's last stand will not be in vain

The pink ones Greif will reign 

A black pen rips reality

The Angel's Embers grant immortality

The Raider's will leave their mark

Inkopolis will fall and rise like the tides

darkness falls in Light's ray 

what once dead will not stay that way

Berry collapsed onto the couch again, her breath returning to normal.

Bobble: What was that?

???: Bad news...

Bobble turned to face the stranger to find A skeleton holding an inkbrush.

Bobble: Who are you?

The skeleton smiled.

???: Someone who won't stay dead...and yet here I am.
