Pearl's POV

It's been two days and Amethyst picked up English pretty quickly, everyone is happy I think.

They know her name's Amethyst now, due to the fact she told them, cause she thinks it's a better names that 74666745.

She not wrong that name wasn't even a name, so she right for thinking it's stupid.

Other than that fact they all know about what happened, they just don't believe it.

I understand why they don't believe it cause it doesn't sound possible, but what else could've done it.

Lapis, Jasper, and Peridot want to put that stupid shirt back on her because of it.

But that aside!

We're kinda running low on food, there aren't anymore radio broadcasts, and there have been far more zombies.

Jasper says we need to leave but Bismuth says it's to dangerous to leave on foot.

And now that I'm actually saying these things, it's not going as well as I said it was.

We where all talking and Peridot and Lapis busted into the room and slammed the house door "we've gotta leave, RIGHT NOW" Peridot yelled with her back against he door.

Lapis started giving everyone a weapon "what's going on" Garnet said flipping a knife, "huge horde of zombies heading this way and fast too".

We all exchanged scared looks, except Amethyst who never seemed fazed by zombies, other than the one incident she's never fazed.

Everyone was packing up except Amethyst, she was playing with the radio when I voice cut through the static.

Attenchen to any residents who get this message

There is a possible cure out there, patient 74666745

She has a possible cure in her blood, if bitten and manage to get close enough.

It will temporaryily stop the infection, but this patient is VERY dangerous and approach with caution.

If you happen to find the Patient, please bring her to our safest fort

The radio message repeated a few times then cut out and Amethyst tugged my arm slightly, "that's doctor Sanchez" she said with a small smile.

I noded and Lapis sighed "that's a long trip considering we are in Colorado" we all sighed and Lapis went to check the window.

She looked out the window "we have to go, NOW" she ran and helped Peridot hold the door.

Bismuth had now helped and told us to find and opening to escape.

The house was completely surrounded "WHAT THE HELL ARE WE GONNA DO NOW" Peridot yelled panicked and pulled at her hair.

Lapis was pacing, Jasper had joined Bismuth by the door, I stood next to Amethyst not knowing what to do, while Garnet and Opal re-enforced up windows and doors with furniture.

The zombies where trying to beat down the door and it started getting difficult for Jasper and Bismuth to stay put.

"Pearl, can't we just go upstairs and put stuff infront of the stair case, then go in the attic" Amethyst asked me quietly.

I smiled "good thinking" I told Lapis about the attic, but someone had to go back and get Jasper and Bismuth.

Amethyst raised her hand "I can do it" she said and Lapis didn't even think twice before letting her go, dispite my opinion.

Bismuth's POV

We held the front door and Amethyst ran downstairs and signaled for us to follow, "Jasper go" I told her and she hesitantly noded and ran off making my job a more difficult.

Jasper shouted for me to follow and the moment I let go of the door zombies poured into the house I picked up Amethyst and ran upstairs.

I set her next to the attic latter and me and Jasper shoved, desks, dressers, the bathtubs, lamps, night stands, bed frames, and what ever we could find to push down the stairs.

Jasper had went into the attic then I went in after almost falling cause this latter is thin and can't hold us and our amazing muscles.

I looked down and Amethyst just stared up at us "oh shit, Amethyst come on" she touched the latter and there was a crunch.

That weak ass bitch ass motha fuck'in latter just broke....fan- fucking -tastic.

Pearl's POV

I looked at the zombies struggling to get up and Amethyst was stuck, but I NEED to be next to her of I'll turn.

I gave Opal a tight hug "I'll be back" she was confused until I jumped down, the moment I landed my bite didn't hurt anymore.

I grabbed her hand "we'll be fine just try and find away out, we can try and distract them" I called up to them.

Lapis noded her being the most serious and Garnet was holding Opal back so she wouldn't jump after me.

I sighed and pulled Amethyst into a room and closed the door and we moved a dresser that they'd looked over and placed it infront of the door.

"We need a destraction" I mumbled while pacing around the room, Amethyst looked out the window.

"I can do it" she said "Amethyst you can't, I mean you could but I don't want you or me to die".

"You won't die P, you'll be in here" she said leaning on the window, "Amethyst I'm still bitten and if your gone to long I'll turn" I said and sat down.

"We'll figure something out" she said and walked over and sat next to me "ya and fast too, I think the zombies are getting closer".

As we tried to plan this out we could hear the zombies groans and hear them shuffling over the barricade.

Knowing that we could die any minute wasn't the best thought and or idea, but we just need to find a GOOD destraction and plan to get us ALL out unharmed.
