Pearl's POV

I could now hear that some zombies got over the barricade and some trying to get in the room.

We only had that dresser to block the door off, but that was it I looked out the window to see anyway out, nothing but zombies.

I slouched down on the wall "well we are trapped, sorry I dragged you into this" Amethyst glanced back at me as I spoke.

"Do you think we could sneak through em" she asked "Amethyst their zombies WE are human.... somewhat".

I sighed and sat there, I heard Amethyst walking around "Amy cut it out, you might fall through the floor if you keep that up".

She didn't listen and then I saw a bright purple light, I poked up and she shot a laser thing through the ceiling.

"AMY BE CAREFUL" I got up an pushed her hand down, I looked up and I saw Peridot look down at us "PEARL WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT" I didn't get to respond to her when Opal pushed past Peridot.

"ARE YOUR OKAY, ARE YOU HURT" Opal yelled to me "I'm fine" I looked at Amethyst who was next to the door.

"Amethyst, what are you doing over there" I asked and she OPENED THE DOOR.

I was going to run to her when two zombies entered the room, Amethyst let them but pushed the others away.

I heard everyone in the attic yelling, but there was nothing they could do.

I saw a purple ball form around the zombies heads and crush there heads splattering blood inside the ball.

The ball disappeared and the zombies dropped to the floor, everyone was just staring at this point.

I looked at the zombies and Peridot spoke before I could "I HAVE AN IDEA" she said and jumped down next to me.

She fell on her butt but didn't seem to care "we could cover ourselves in the zombies gut to like hide our smell" she said and pulled out the knife Lapis had given her.

She cut both zombies open and told everyone to get down here and they did.

"Now we need someone to test the theory" Peridot said while cutting opened the second body.

I covered Amethyst's mouth already knowing she would volunteer, Bismuth and Jasper both shared a look before Bismuth stepped forward.

"I'll do it" she said and Jasper had kind of a hurt look on her face, Peridot noded and we helped smear blood on her.

Bismuth's POV

"I smell like rotting shit" I said and got a few laughs "that's good" Peridot said.

I walked to the door "Okay Bismuth, be quiet and act dead....and hope it works" she said the last part kinda quiet but I've got a good idea on what she said.

I grabbed the door knob "wait where the hell do I go if this works" I asked "head towards the hill at the back of the house" Lapis spoke.

I noded and opened the door and stepped out closing it quietly behind me.

I looked into the crowd of zombies and gulped and tried to stay calm to keep my heart down.

I slowly approached and a zombie turned to me and I just did my best to stay calm, I closed my eyes and started walking.

I was praying in my head that I wouldn't die doing this shit, and before I knew it I was outside.

I'm more shocked I got out the house AND over that barricade and didn't notice.

I turned forward and gulped and started trying to work my way to he back of the house.

But every direction I looked I couldn't find a clear path, I realized I'd have to walk through the huge crowd.

Which I'm trying to avoid because the more there are at least one's bound to smell me if we're that close.

I slid along the house and I glanced up to see the others in the window giving me thumbs up.

I looked down and this one zombie was coming right at me, I started walking away as dead like as possible.

BUT HE WAS REALLY COMING FOR ME.

I started to walk faster and I was scared for my life right now. I had to keep going and at least try, they'll see when I make it to the hill.

There are two windows in the room one shows the back of the house and the other shows the side of the house, it's a pretty big room.

I looked back and notice more zombies following me "your gotta be shitting me" I mumbled under my breath and walked faster glancing back every now and again.

Please don't die
