(Okay, SO SORRY! 🙏 I have been busy and distracted. But here it is. Who's ready for some baseball? ⚾️)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"Aaaah~" Nothing like lounging on your bed during a clear, beautiful night. I spread out like a starfish while just staring blankly at the ceiling. "Yep. Living the life." I breathe out. Someone knocks on my door, "Miss (Y/N), it is time for dinner." I hear Mr. Tanaka says. "Uuuuugh." I roll over, "Oof!" And land on the ground. (I feel that. 🥱) "I'm coming!" I tell him.

Next thing I know, I'm sitting at a table with everyone. Well, except Tails because he's off flying the Tornado. Apparently dinner is being served as a lesson for proper table etiquette. So boring! Why do you even need a specific fork or spoon or knife just to eat food? IT'S RIDICULOUS! But what can you do? I sit in-between Chris and Sonic. Amy, Cream and Cheese pick the right set of fork and knife along with Chris, I couldn't care less because I'm eating a banana. "Right, you're such smart children. And what good manners." Ella compliments them. "Chao." Gosh, Cheese is just so darn cute!

"I don't see why we have to learn all this etiquette baloney in the first place." Sonic says, him eating an apple. "My mom says it's important to learn good manners so we can eat properly." Chris explains. "Well, I never learned anything about manners and I've been eating my whole life." Sonic says, taking another bite of his apple. "Sonic, kindly use your fruit knife." I flinch back when Tanaka appears between us. "Same goes for you, (Y/N)." I swallow. "No need." I place the peel to the side. "I wonder what's keeping Tails. He should be back by now." Chuck says. I pick up my knife and fork to cut my steak, but freeze. What the...?

I feel this power. There's two of them and it's so... I don't know. Wait, this is familiar. I know what it is! It's- I hear laughing and blink. "Brrr!" I shake my head and look to find Bokkun floating above the table. (The Messenger Demon!) "Sorry, I didn't know it was meal time, but Doctor Eggman's got a real important message for you." He says. "Ugh, not again." Sonic stands on the table. I glare at Bokkun and place the sliver ware down. "How dare you barge in on us like this? You need to learn some manners." I stand up, cracking my neck a little. "Don't worry, Mr. Tanaka." I rotate my shoulder, "I can do that just fine." I state. "Eh, that's what you say. And at least watch it first." Bokkun says, the TV turns on and shows Eggman.

"Good evening, Sonic. I suggest you take a look out your window." Eggman says. "Window?" Huh? We walk over and open the window and I gasp. The same feeling returns as I see a white beam of light far out in the distance. "What is it?" I hear Chuck ask. "That' lights coming from a Chaos Emerald." Cream answers. I knew it. "Is she right?" I look at Chris, "She is. Except it's not one emerald, but two." I state. "Correct. We both want those emeralds, but why not be good sports about it? That's why I suggest you sit up and meet me over..." We look back at the TV as Eggman ducks down and switches over to him being in some baseball getup. What the? "...at the Diamond Stadium." He says.

"Diamond Stadium?" "What for?" Tanaka and Chuck ask. "I challenge you and your friends to a game of winner-take-all baseball." Eggman declares, laughing before the TV turns off. Really? "You guys might be a little rusty, so how about some batting practice?" Bokkun says then takes out a bat. "Uh-oh." Bokkun readies a ball, but I glare at him. He bats a lot at us, but I feel a surge of power and hold up my hand and a shield appears. It blocks the balls, "Hey! No fair! They are no shields in baseball!" He complains. But Ella grabs him by the head, "You got a decent swing, but you keep hitting it foul." She says. I smirk and the shield disappears as Bokkun is thrown out by Ella. (He's outta here!)

"What kind of pitch was that?" Chris asks. "I think it was a screwball." I snort from Grandpa's answer. (🤭) "We have to get to that stadium!" Sonic says. Coughing, "Right! To the car!" I shout, pointing ahead.

Third Person P.O.V.

At the Diamond Stadium, the light beam fades away. Tails and the groundskeeper take a moment to process what happened as they stare at the green and cyan Chaos Emeralds. "What just happened there, little fella?" The groundskeeper ask. "That always happens when Chaos Emeralds come together. I just hope the wrong person didn't see it." Tails responds. He hears chuckling and looks up to find Eggman looking down from his Egg Mobile. "Well, if it isn't my foxy high-flying friend." The doctor says with a bat resting on his shoulder. "Doctor Eggman!" Tails becomes defensive at his presence.

Eggman chuckles again but stops and looks around, "Where's the rest of your team? It's almost game time." He asks. "Forget it. You want the Chaos Emeralds, but I won't give 'em to ya." Tails defies. "Could it be Sonic and his pals are choosing to forfeit? I must say that's very un-sportsman-like of them." Eggman says in a disbelieving tone. He becomes annoyed and growls, "If there's one thing I hate more than a meddling hedgehog, it's a quitter!" He shouts. (That I can understand.) "I don't get it. What're you talking about?" Tails questions in confusion. "If they won't play ball with me, I still win." Eggman states.

The Egg Mobile moves up a little before the pointer piece on the bottom retracts and a mechanical hand reaches out at Tails. The fox screams and jumps away, the hand misses him but focuses on the groundskeeper. "W-What's going on here anyway?" He asks frightened. The hand lurches at the emerald in his hand and tries he tries to hold onto it, but it is taken from him. "Oh, no! He's got the emerald!" Tails exclaims.

Eggman chuckles as the Cyan Chaos Emerald is dropped in his hand. "One down, one to go. Hand it over. I won it fair and square. Now give me that second emerald, or I'll have to use a force play." He demands. "I'd like to see you try it!" Tails shouts, he runs away. The mechanical hand extends out to grab the Green Chaos Emerald from him, it is about to catch him until Knuckles appears and destroys it in one punch. Tails stops and looks back, seeing Knuckles with his fist out soaring through the air while the smashed pieces surround him. "That was close. You all right?" Knuckles asks. "Knuckles! Am I glad to see you." Tails says happily. (The Echidna Warrior has arrived! ❤️)

Knuckles lands on the ground and smirks up at Eggman. "Well, look who it is. I like your costume." He mocks. "You again. And what brings you here? Doing Sonic's dirty work?" Eggman glares at the echidna. Tails runs over to stand beside Knuckles as the warrior looks at the fox, "Let's get out of here, Tails." He states. "Okay." A whoosh is heard and the two look to find a blue streak run on the stands, circle around them before stopping to reveal Sonic. "Hey, how's it going, Knuckles?" Sonic greets him with a smile. Knuckles chuckles and gives a smile back at him.

"Well, if it isn't Sonic. I thought you weren't going to show up, so I took one of the emeralds and I was just collecting the second." Eggman says. "Without making it to second base first?" He grunts and looks to find (Y/N) glaring up at him. The others appear as they look up at Eggman. "But now that you're here, maybe we can play ball." The doctor states. "All right. Just give us back that Chaos Emerald." Sonic demands. "All in good time, my speedy little opponent. But first, let me introduce you to my fellows teammates." Eggman replies. "Huh?" A shadow appears and everyone looks to see a large black UFO-looking ship. The hatch opens and black robots with baseball-themed designs and a logo on their chest reading, 'Eggs' appears. (He is weirdly prepared for this.)

They land on the ground and Cream holds Cheese close as Amy shields them with their arms. "They're scaring me, Amy." Cream whimpers. "It's okay." Amy comforts her. Seven bots stand ready and Eggman jumps onto the ground and stands at the center. "Not too shabby, eh? Now why don't we knock off the pre-game ceremonies and get to the reason we're all here. It's now game time." He states. Bocoe and Decoe appear in front of him, "Let's play ball!" They state.

(Y/N) crosses her arms and gives them a deadpanned expression, "You really expect us to play a game and you guys to play fair? What do you take us for?" She sasses. "You can't have your game here." Tails denies. "Wait." Chuck speaks, him wearing an orange and blue hat with a 'D' on it. "It just so happens ol' Grandpa Chuck here is a big baseball fan from way back." He states. "Huh?" Tails questions. (Y/N) sighs heavily, "Here we go." She groans. "A nice friendly game of baseball sounds like a great idea to me." Chuck smiles. "But... but Chuck..." Tails tries to argue. He feels a hand on his head and looks up at (Y/N), "Don't even try, Tails. If there's one thing to equal Chuck's love of science, it's baseball." She tells him.

Eggman chuckles, "Ah, so you're Chuck, are you? Well, it's a great pleasure to finally meet you. A ball game must sound most exciting after being cooped up in that laboratory of yours day after day." He says. "Hey, if you want to have a ball game, then you have to have it some place else! Isn't anybody listening to me?!" Tails shouts. "Well, Eggman, if the others are up for it, I would be more than happy to accept your challenge." Chuck states. "But you can't have your game here! You're gonna ruin all the beautiful turf!" Tails argues. (There, there, Tails. *Pat Pat*)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I sigh, feeling bad for Tails since he wants to be heard but Gramps and Eggdolt are too busy talking about baseball. "Hey!" Hmm? "I'll have you know this stadium means a lot to my friend." He says, a man then appears behind him. "It's okay, Tails." He says. "Only a matter of time before it's demolished anyway." Oh. He sounds so sad. To think a stadium like this is being torn down. "My name's Albert Butler. I'm the head groundskeeper here." The man introduces himself. Gramps then goes on about how he saw him on TV and was even friends with the owner of the Diamonds.

"Elmer and I don't talk much anymore." What? Then Chucks starts crying. Huh? "This is such an honor to think that I get to play baseball at the world-famous Diamond Stadium-" "Stop your blubbering and let's play baseball!" Eggman shouts. I sigh, "For once I agree." What? Chuck can go on and on. "Alright, everybody! Time for Chaos Emerald baseball playoff!" "It's the first annual Eggman Intergalactic Baseball Challenge." Okay, thats it! (😠💢)

I pinch Eggman and Chuck's ears, "Since we are playing in the Diamond Stadium and it is due to be demolished, let's just call it the Final Game." I scold. They whimper while agreeing and I let them go and dust off my hands. At this point, it would be easier to smash some bots. (I know, right? 🔨 🤖) I walk over to stand with Sonic as he looks like he could not be bothered. "So, every played ball?" I ask. He shrugs, "What's the point?" He says. "You can't be serious." I look over at Knuckles. "You do know what will happen if Doctor Eggman wins, don't you? He won't just be winning the game, but the Chaos Emeralds, too. If Eggman wins this game, it'll mean nothing but catastrophe for all of us." He says. "I'd say that's nothing but stinking thinking." "Why ruin everyone's fun?" Okay, now they are just being idiots.

I walk over and stand with Knuckles, "Because it very well lead to more destruction by a crazed, mad scientist that has nothing better to do and hates animals." I state. But then the others surround us and state Knuckles is afraid. I cross my arms and close my eyes. Just ignore them. Just ignore them. "I'm not afraid of anything!" I hear Knuckles shout. "Great, then you'll play, huh?" EVEN SONIC?!? ALRIGHTY THEN! (Eep! 😨)

I bend down wrap my arms around Sonic and Knuckles, "Of course we'll play!" I smile. Then wrap my arm around Sonic tighter, "But if Eggman cheats and gets away with an emerald..." I open my eyes and glare at the others. "We have the right to say I told you so~" I state. I feel patting on my arm. "Okay! Deal!" Thats right, Sonic. Suffer~ I watch the others back away. Heh. "Let's get this game on!" Knuckles shouts. "Yeah!" I cheer. (Okay, those together frighten me. 😰)

Third Person P.O.V.

And so, the game is on. "Let's play ball." Decoe says, acting as the umpire. Chris is dressed in a Diamond's uniform and is the first to bat. "Bring it on!" Chris exclaims. "Go, Chris! Show them who's the champion!" (Y/N) cheers, her wearing a Diamond's uniform too with her hair held back in a ponytail. The pitcher Eggbot throws the ball, but it is so fast that Chris could not even swing as it is catcher by the catcher Eggbot. "Strike one." Decoe calls. Chris starts to sweat and realizes it is gonna be harder than he thought. Sonic whistles from the throw.

The scoreboard reads with one green light in the row with an S. "Strike two." Another lights. "Strike three." And another, completing the row before they fade and the row with an O lights up red. "Out." Decoe states. "How could anyone hit a ball that fast?" Chris asks sullenly as he walks with shame back to the team. (You'd be surprised, buddy.) (Y/N) gives him a pat on the head, "Hey, it's okay. There's always next time." She comforts him.

Eggman giggles. "Loser. Okay, boys, send in the next sucker." He says. Tails walks up to the batting mound and readies to swing. "It'll probably be a fast ball." He says. The pitcher Eggbot reels back their arm but their arm extends and flicks the ball into the catcher's glove, catching Tails by surprise. "Strike one." Decoe calls. "Oh, come on! You're supposed to throw the ball not flick it!" (Y/N) complains, waving her arm in frustration. Knuckles looks at her and blinks in surprise, "I guess competition gets to all of us." He says. (Yep.)

The pitcher Eggbot retracts its arm. "Hey, umpire, thats not fair!" Tails states angrily. "What do you want? It's not my fault he's got long arms." Decoe brushes off. "Hey, is there a rule saying a batter can be switched with another?" (Y/N) asks. "Of course not." Decoe answers. "Perfect~" (Y/N) smiles and evilly. Tails is switched with Amy as she holds her Piko Piko Hammer. "Give me your best pitch, ball boy." She states. The pitcher Eggbot tosses a the ball, "I got it!" Amy swings and hits the ball, sending it flying. The team cheers for her. "We might not lose after all." Knuckles says with a smile.

However, an Eggbot throws another and as the ball is about to fly over the fence and be considered a home run, they catch it. It lands and holds their glove with the ball in it. "She's out." Decoe calls. "Huh?" Amy frowns as she stops before she could make it to first base. "But I thought..." She voices. Eggman yells loudly, but it makes (Y/N) become more irritated. "So, he's gonna play it that way, huh? I didn't care about this game at first, but SCREW IT." She says lowly.

The team are now out on the field, Amy at the pitcher's mound. "Now I'll show 'em what I can do. I'm a much better pitcher anyway." She says. She readies to throw and does so, only for the batting Eggbot to become pieces after it was hit. "HA! Payback!" (Y/N) laughs. (🤣) The Eggbot reassembles itself but holds its head as it walks over to join its team. "Uh, sorry about that." Amy mockingly apologizes.

The game continues and Amy is about to prove but the hot at first base takes off and Cream notices it. The ball lands in Tanaka's glove, "Strike." Decoe calls, and Tanaka throws the ball to Tails. He catches it and is ready to tag out the Eggbot but they extend their legs and jumps over him, landing safely on the base. "Safe." Decoe calls. "Losing isn't fun." Tails states. (Y/N) punches into her glove, "Nope. But we ain't losing tonight." She mutters.

It continues as a ball is hit and is flying through the sky. "And it's out of the park!" Eggman exclaims. Sonic runs up and stands on top of the scoreboard, catching the ball in his glove. "Home run. Home run." Decoe calls. "You caught it, Sonic, but if it's outside the fence, it doesn't count." Chuck explains. "Who says we gotta play by the rules anyway? Cut me some slack." Sonic complains. "You already are." (Y/N) responds.

After a while, the teams switch again. The pitcher Eggbot reels in then tosses a fast ball, but it gets bit right back at it and becomes pieces. "Sorry." Amy says with an angry smile as she makes it and stands on first base. "Thats a hit." She says. The Eggbot at the base looks at her with slight fear. The pitcher Eggbot reassembles itself and makes some annoyed clatter noises while holding its head. Knuckles is up to bat and hits the ball, sending it soaring through the sky. "Sad to say, but it's a home run." Decoe says. He smirks while running around the bases as the others cheer for him. "Alright, Knux! Way to go!" (Y/N) shouts. Sonic grumbles from that. (Oooh~ 😏)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

The scoreboard now reads 32-36. Alright, my turn~ I breathe deeply as I watch the pitcher. Come on. Come on. It reels its hand back then throws but I don't see the ball instead its swinging its arm so much it looks like a helicopter. I grip the bat tightly and then... the ball is flying past me. "Strike one." Darn it. I scowl but calm down. "You got it, (Y/N)." I glance back at Knuckles. "Yeah. You're way faster than them." Sonic says. I smile from that then narrow my eyes at the pitcher. It does the same move then throws the ball. I grit my teeth, "RAAAAHH!!" I swing and hit the ball. Dropping the bat, I run to first base. I step on it, but I'm not stopping.

"(Y/N), go back!" I hear Chuck but seeing the Eggbot in front of me with the ball, I smirk. Jumping and making over it, I land and step on second base. "What are you doing?! GET HER OUT!" The Eggbot in front of me extends its arm, but I lean back and slide across the ground. Standing up, stepping on their base and head to home. "Go, (Y/N)!" I hear Chris shout. I see the ball be thrown to the catcher, but I feel a swell of energy and launch forward, sliding across the ground. I close my eyes from the dust.

"A-Ha! Blegh!" I cough out. I blink then look to see my hands on home base along with the catcher's mitt. "Out." (WHAT? That was awesome!) Aw. I sigh and stand up. "Wait a minute!" I hear Albert. "Look!" He points and I look to see the ball... on the ground beside the plate. "There's no way the ball would have fallen out. Unless they didn't catch it." He says. "Well, it's close enough-" "Close enough is not enough." I jumped when Chuck appeared right next to me. Decoe shakes from his stare. "S-S-Safe." He stutters. "Yes!" I pump a fist. "But that was still a risky play, young lady." Eh-heh. "Darn it! I did not design you lot to have butter fingers!" I smirk at the bots scared expressions, I look down at the ball only to drop my smirk to find some sparkles on it. I glance at the catcher's mitt to find some on it, too, before disappearing. Hmm. (Shhhh. 🤫)

I sit down and try to rub off the dirt on my shirt and pants. "We're closing in on 'em. Now let's give it our best shot." Gramps says. The score reads 33-36. "Tanaka." "Yes, sir." Oh, things are getting serious. "I'm putting in a pinch hitter for you." Gramps says. "Huh?" Pfft! I cover my mouth from laughing at Tanaka's face. "It's Cheese." Wait, what? "Chao!" Awww~ So, Cheese is up to bat, but thanks to his tiny size, all he got were balls. The power of tiny wins! Next up is Cream and used the power of cuteness to get to first base by flustering the pitcher. I am so proud right now. (🥹 🧡+🩵= 🏆)

Knuckles is up and he got another home run. "All right, Knuckles, that's another home run!" Chuck cheers. "Woo-Hoo! Go, Knux!" I pump a fist in the air. "That means we're tied!" Amy says. Sweet! "Look, everybody." Hm? "Whoa. We got a crowd." I state. People sit in the stands and watch. "Huh? Where's all these people come from?" Albert asks. I look at the scoreboard to see it 36-36. "I guess they got caught in the love of the game." I guess. And now, to win this. (Yeah. 😈)

Chris's P.O.V.

We're so close. We can do this. Sonic is batting and he hits the ball, but it rolls on the field and he runs to first base. Oh! So that they can't catch if it goes high. Smart. (He has his moments.) Wait, I'm next. I gulp and walk over, but... The pitcher throws band I close my eyes. "Strike one." Oh, who am I kidding? I can't do it. "Oh, no. What if I let the whole team down?" I open my eyes and the ball is thrown too fast again. "Strike two." Uh, I am going to let them down. "Time out." "Huh?" I see Sonic and walk over to meet him. "I know you can get a hit. There's nothing to it, Chris. All you have to do is concentrate." He tells me.

"Thats easy for you to say. He's pitching so fast." I feel a hand on my head and to find (Y/N) smiling. "So? You got to take a risk." She says. "But-" "No buts!" She presses a finger to my mouth. "You can do this, Chris. You'll never know if you don't try." She says, removing her finger and pokes my chest. "She's right, Chris. You can't let that get you down, pal." I look at Sonic. "Just keep on trying and don't give up." He says. Keep trying? "Now get out there and so your best." Sonic winks. (Y/N) pats my shoulder, "It's all anyone ever asks." She smiles. I smile from their support, "Okay." (You got this! 👍)

I go back and get ready to swing. "Play ball." Sonic and sis are right. I just have to keep trying. If I miss, then I'll know I tried. I sweat as the bot throws the ball but I swing, only too hard and lose my balance. "Strike three." Oh. But I smile, "At least I tried my best." That's all anyone asks. "Chris, run!" "Huh?" I hear Grandpa yell. And look to find a bot chasing the ball. "Run, little brother! Run!" Ah! I get up and run. I jump and side across the ground, touching first base. "Safe." "I did it! I got to first base!" I really did it. "WOO-HOO! That's my brother!" I see (Y/N) jumping up and down and Sonic gives me a thumbs up and winks. (Yeah! ✊)

Third Person P.O.V.

The scoreboard now reads 37-36 for the Diamonds, the team cheers happily for Chris and Sonic. However, Eggman growls as he clenches his fists, "Oh, yeah. Those bumbling clowns, they won't make a fool out of me." He declares. Bocoe arrives, holding a controller and Eggman presses a red button. One of the Eggbot's head launches off its body and attaches itself on top of Sonic's head. "What's that?" Sonic voices. "Oh, dear, my robot, it's malfunctioning. It will explode any minute now. Run, Sonic. Hurry. Run away!" Eggman fakes panics.

"I CALL BULL ON THAT!" (Y/N) shouts, glaring and pointing at Eggman as she sees past his lie. (LIAR! 🤥) "Sonic, what're we gonna do?" Chris asks worriedly as he stands up. Sonic tries to remove the bot's head, but it is latching on tightly. "He's trying to get us to forfeit the game. I gotta get rid of this thing quick." Sonic responds. He starts running all across the field, but the bot is still attached. "Hey, you're really hanging on." He says. "Sonic!" "Huh?" Sonic looks over at Knuckles. "Jump, Sonic, hurray!" Knuckles shouts. "Okay." Sonic jumps high into the air and Knuckles jumps after him, reading his fist. "Hey, watch it, will ya?" Sonic shouts, not wanting to accidentally get punched by Knuckles. Knowing how much it would hurt.

A massive explosion happens, Knuckles and Sonic safely above it and unharmed. "Thanks, you're a lifesaver." Sonic thanks Knuckles. However, Eggman is in his Egg Mobile as it flies up. "You may have beaten me at baseball," Sonic and Knuckles land on the ground. "but with this shiny blue Chaps Emerald snuggled ever so safely in my pocket, I'm the real winner after all, aren't I?" Eggman laughs manically.

But (Y/N) was not letting him get away without a little something. She grabs a bat, "Hey, Mr. Tanaka," Said man looks at her. "Batter up." (Y/N) smirks. (Oh, yeah~ 😏) Mr. Tanaka smiles and grabs a ball. The two walk on the field, and the butler readies to throw as (Y/N) readies a swing. Her eyes glowing a softy (F/C) for a brief moment. "Hey, Eggman!" She shouts. The doctor drops laughing and looks down at her right as Mr. Tanaka throws the ball, "You're," She swings the bat, "OUTTA HERE!" She hits the ball and it is sent flying at lightning speed with a trial of light directly at Eggman. "AH!" *CLANG* "DUUAAAAaaaaaahhh!!" Eggman is sent flying away then disappears into the night sky. (Cue twinkle effect. ❇️ Perfect. 👌)

(Y/N) rests the at on her shoulders, a hand on her hip as she smiles. The crowd goes wild and cheers loudly. (WOOOOOO! Diamonds win! 💎 ✌️)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

That felt good. "So that's why they call it a grand slam." I look down at Sonic as he appears beside me. "Yep. Also~" I lean down to whisper on his ear, "I told you so." I whisper. He shivers and jumps away from me. I stand up and giggle, "Hey, what are you laughing about?!" He exclaims, his face becoming a little red. (He's flustered. ☺️)

"Hey, look, that's Elmer Johnson." Say what now? The owner of the Diamonds team is walks past me, Sonic and Knuckles and stands in front of Albert. "I was watching at home. I must say it was quite a remarkable game. It's all thanks to you, Al, and I... Well, Al, I can't help but think how much you've done for the Diamonds over the years and what a great friend you've been." Johnson says. "Thank you." Albert says. "I'm thinking of moving the Diamond turf over to the new stadium intact. I sure could use your help." Johnson says. "Sure thing." He and Albert shake hands. (🤝)

This game did help with something after all, "Well, we may have lost the Chaos Emeralds, but I think we've learned an important lesson about working together. And I'm sure you'll agree, we'll be even stronger next time we meet Eggman." Gramps says. Wait, emeralds? "Umm, you do realize he only got away with the cyan one, right?" I voice. "Oh! Right!" Tails holds the green one. "Eh-heh." He laughs. "Well, I guess we won and lost." Chris says. "That really bites." Amy scowls.

I drop the bat, "Oh, well." I shrug, walk over and stand between Sonic and Knuckles. I bend down and wrap my arms around them. "Eggman may have one, but it will be us that get all seven." I smile. Knuckles smiles, "I think the odds are in our favor." He says. Sonic wraps an arm around me, "Eggman won't know what hit him." He says. "Ha-Ha! I love baseball!" Chuck laughs and we all laugh too. What a game. (Indeed it was. 😊)
