(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

It's been two days since Cream and Cheese were rescued and they along with Tails are now stay at the mansion. We had to be careful and keep them out of sight from Ella and Mr. Tanaka.

I finish brushing my hair then I hear knocking, "Yes?" I exit my bathroom, "It's Ella, I have breakfast ready for you, (Y/N)." I set down my brush and walk over to the door. I open it and Ella stands with a tray of my favorite breakfast, "Thanks, Ella." I thank her. I take the tray from her, "Oh, it's nothing, dear. I'm just making sure you eat enough. Don't want you going hungry." She says. I smile as I shake my head, "I love your cooking, Ella, but I can cook for myself sometimes." I say. "Of course, of course. Now, eat up. A new day has begun." She says then closes my door.

I sigh then take the tray and open the door to my balcony, walk onto it then set the tray down and look back on the roof to see Sonic laying on his back. (Hello there.) He opens his eyes then hops down and sits on the railings, "Hey, thanks for the meal." He says and takes some of my breakfast. Really? I place my hands on my hips, "Just because you're staying here doesn't mean you can steal from other people's plates." I state. He chews the food the swallows, "Aah. Well, Chris said to make ourselves comfortable." He responds. (This guy... 😒)

I roll my eyes and sit down in a chair as I eat. I swallow before speaking, "And he also said to be careful and stay out of sight. From all the movies I've seen with aliens, people tend to think the worst when it comes to them because of fear of mass invasion." I retort. Sonic shrugs and eats more of my breakfast, "Relax. Remember, I'm too fast for them." He says. I roll my eyes, "Yeah, yeah." I take another bite. He then jumps onto his feet, "Well, I'm going to do some exploring. New world, new experiences. See ya!" He runs off and I close my eyes from the wind.

I blink my eyes once the wind dies down. Then sigh, "And I just did my hair." I groan. Then eat more of my breakfast. Eh, I can do it after. Eat now. (Priorities. *NOM*)

Third Person P.O.V.

As the day goes on, Tails is washing the plane which is called the Tornado with Chuck standing beside him. "I like to keep the Tornado nice and clean." Tails informs. "Tails, I'd love to study this plane's mechanics someday." Chuck says.

Cream and Cheese sit at a table and have tea and bagels. Cheese eating one with Cream watching him, "Do you like that?" She asks him. Cheese nods his head as he continues eating. "I'm glad, Cheese." Cream smiles. "Hey, Tails!" Chris says as he appears. "What's wrong?" Tails asks. "Where's Sonic?" Chris asks. "He had breakfast with (Y/N) then left. He was going somewhere to explore. Downtown, I think." Cream answers. "If the police spot Sonic, they'll try and catch him." Chris says worriedly. "Catch Sonic? I don't think so." Tails argues.

"I just hope he's careful." Chris says. Tails hums at Chris's words, "That's not his style. Sonic likes danger." Tails informs. Chris is silent for a moment, "We have to bring him back! Right away!" He exclaims. "Have you forgotten already, Chris?" Everyone looks to find (Y/N) appear. She walks over and stands beside Chris as she adjusts her hoodie, "Sonic outran Sam, and we both know how loves to call himself the fastest with that tricked out car of his. He may be cocky, but Sonic is fast." She says.

Chris thinks about her words but looking at his face, how worried he is, she sighs, "But maybe we can find him and make sure he is careful." She gives in. He brightens up from her words. "I'll take the Tornado and search from above." Tails informs. "Chris and I will take the car." Chuck says. "And I'll take my scooter." (Y/N) says, running into the garage and takes out her (F/C) scooter, she puts on her helmet, slides on the goggles then sits and revs its engine as she takes off.

However, a large robot with missiles for hands stomps through the streets. Following it in a hover carrier is a tall, round bald man in a red lab coat with goggles on his head, wearing navy-blue glasses and has a large, bushy mustache. (You know who he is. 👓🥚)He rests his head on his hand as he grumbles, "There's a word for this... boring." He says. A man in uniform with a mask on fires a blowtorch at the robot which causes it to stop, but is unaffected by the flames.

A barricade of police cars stands and the officer in charge holds a smirk, "That thing's toast." He states confidently. However, the flames go out and it focus its attention on them. The man lowers his craft and chuckles, "You cannot win. I can clobber you klutzes at will. Now rollover or get run over." He threatens. "Uh, we give up." The officer says, he and the others sweating nervously. "I can't stand quitters. Give them what they deserve." The man orders the robot. It holds up an arm then fires a missile.

In the air, Tails flies the Tornado and tries to find Sonic. "This is like trying to find a hedgehog in a haystack." He says, flying off to search elsewhere. On the ground, Chuck parks the car at a park as Chris yells, "Sonic! Hey, Sonic!" No sign of the hedgehog as kids and adults play or talk. "Sonic! Are you out there, Sonic? Hey, Sonic!" Chris tried again, but no response or sight of Sonic. "I don't think Sonic is here. Let's look somewhere else, Chris." Chuck says. Chris nods his head then gets in the car as Chuck starts it and drives off.

As for where the blue hedgehog is, he was looking at a mountain which is far away from the city. He smirks then jumps and runs down and at a cliff. He jumps and falls into it as he laughs in excitement. (He loves danger.)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

Man, where could he have gone? I drive down the streets but I stop after hearing an explosion. "Huh?" People were running away from a direction and I get curious and drive to it. I gasp and skid to a stop at seeing the damage; rubble, crushed cars and a robot. "What the heck? Where did that came from?" There was no way I could get my scooter through that, I turn it off then run after the robot but keep my distance.

Third Person P.O.V.

As (Y/N) chases after the danger, a manhole is lifted and it is a male red echidna with white gloves designed as boxing gloves and has two spikes on his knuckles. A pink hedgehog wearing a red dress and headband with white gloves along with golden rings as bracelets is beside him as she looks at the robot with a worried frown. (What's this~? ❤️ 🥊 🩷 🔨)

A man goes to exit a building but as the automated doors open, he looks to find a robot standing in front of him. He screams in fright and the robot breaks through, causing the people to scream in fear as they run away. It scans the room to find people leave. "Go to the roof. We can do more damage from up there." The mustached man states, his carrier floating upwards. "Acknowledged." The robot complies and holds one of its hands up, it fires a missile with a rope attached to it as it bursts through the floors.

The mustached man hovers next to the roof of the building right as police cars appear below. He laughs, "It appears we're attracting a crowd." He says, the projectile bursting through the roof and hooks extend out of it as it hooks onto the floor. "Proceed to upper structural surface." The robot states then pulls itself upwards, causing lots of damage.

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

I stop and pant a little as police cars surround the building. I look up and see floating craft at the roof with a robot. "What the heck?" This is definitely new. But then a holographic screen appears and it's of a bald, dark glasses-wearing middle-aged man with a crazy mustache. "Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Dr. Eggman, and I have some exciting news for you. Exciting for me, that is, and catastrophic for you. I have decided to over your world and make it part of the new Eggman Empire. Resistance is futile. You'll submit to my rule or be swept away like dust bunnies." Eggman? That's him. No wonder Sonic said he's not a friend.

"Turn yourself in now, bub, or we'll haul you in." I blink and focus on the Chief of police trying to get Eggman to stop. And license and registration? Seriously? He has a robot and is in a floating carrier. Then a car is destroyed by the robot. Shoot. Gotta stop that bot! Wait, Sonic, Tails and their friends are the ones who have dealt with this mad doctor, but Sonic is still gone. Who knows when he'll show. I clench my hands into fists then look up at the robot, "Either I'm doing something incredibly brave or incredibly stupid." I run ahead and avoid the police as I enter the building. (Probably both.)

I look around until I see a sign for the stairs, I enter it and make my way up. "Time to control some chaos." I tell myself. (Sick one-liner. 😎)

Third Person P.O.V.

At the Thorndyke Mansion, Tails prepares the Tornado to take off. Chuck, Cream and Cheese stand at a distance. "Come on, Chris. Let's go!" Tails says. "Ready, Tails." Chris says, putting on a football helmet then gets in the seat behind Tails. "Good luck up there. And be careful." Chuck tells them. "We'll be okay." Tails gives him a thumbs up. "We'll find Sonic and stop Dr. Eggman. Don't you worry." Chris states. "Goodbye, guys." Cream says to them. "Okay, Chris, hang on." Tails says then the Tornado takes off.

Back in the city, the holographic screen of Eggman is still shown. "Who are you?" He asks. "I am the mayor of this city, and I won't be blackmailed into negotiating with the likes of you." The mayor states through a megaphone. "Really?" Eggman chuckles then is about to snap his fingers, "Duh!" He gets hit in the back of the head. "Who dares to throw at Dr. Eggman?!?" He shouts, nursing his head as a bump formed and turns his carrier around.

It is (Y/N), panting a little after having run up a lot of stairs. "I dare! Now you listen here, you cracked shell so-called doctor, you think you can have your overgrown toy be stomping around and destroy things? Think again!" She shouts at him. Eggman raises a brow at the girl, "What's this? Playing hero? Why don't you run along, helmet girl, don't want to get hurt now, do you?" He says. The robot faces her and (Y/N) glances at it, "Shoot. I didn't think this through- Wait, helmet girl?" (Y/N) holds a hand to her head then moves it to her goggles, "Oh, yeah. I forgot to take off my helmet, and my goggles are hiding my identity." She looks up at the robot, then sweats a little, "But I don't think it'll be enough against a robot with missiles for hands."

For a moment, no one moves as one waits for the other to make a move. Eggman then grunts, "Well, this is getting nowhere. Missile Wrist, take care of this-" "Eggman!" The doctor gasps and looks to see the Tornado fly at him. He ducks as the plane flies past him, "It's Tails. I'll teach that flying furball." He states. "Attention, Missile Wrist, take aim at that plane. Blast it out of the sky!" Eggman orders. "Acknowledged." Missile Wrist does as he says and fires, but misses. It fires again and misses. (Y/N) grits her teeth as she glares at the robot. "No one fires at my little brother and Tails." She states, unaware that her eyes glow (F/C) for a brief moment. (Hmmm? 🤔)

Tails continues avoiding the missiles while Chris holds onto his seat, "Those got pretty close!" He shouts over the wind. "Two can play at that game. Hang on!" Tails tells him. He dives the plane down at the robot and it fires at him but the Tornado retaliates with firing at it. They did not do much damage on the robot but (Y/N) takes her chance and grabs a large chunk of roof, grunting with great effort as she lifts it up then spins around a bit before tossing it at the robot. It breaks upon impact and the robot turns its attention on her, "Uhh..." (Y/N) stands frozen then smiles nervously.

The Tornado flies by them, "It's no use, its armor is too thick!" Tails states. "Wait!" Chris looks back to see (Y/N) and the robot aims at her, "Tails, (Y/N)'s down there!" He exclaims. Tails goes to turn the plane, "Aaah!" But screams as a missile appears and he tries to pull up but the propeller is damage. They start to go down, "This is what I call an emergency!" Tails exclaims. (Y/N) watches as they disappear and she glares at the robot, "THAT'S IT!" (Oop-! she mad.) Her entire body glows then she jumps at the robot. It aims at her, but she appears right in front of it and punches its eye.

(Y/N) gasps and the glow disappears, she slowly pulls back her fist to find she had cracked the eye and she laughs nervously. She screams as she is tossed back and lands roughly on the floor. She groans from the pain as she lays on her front. (Ouch. 😣)

With the Tornado, Tails switches it into its jet setting and flies up again. "We're in the jet set." He tells Chris. Then quickly dodges another fire from Missile Wrist.

On the ground, a crowd has formed to watch the battle. Including the red echidna and the pink hedgehog. "Tails is in trouble. We've gotta find a way to help him." The pink hedgehog says. "I've got more important things to do." The red echidna declines. "Fine! Who needs you?" She shouts angrily the runs into the building. "Don't go in there!" The echidna exclaims, but she does not listen and continues running. "She's only gonna get herself hurt." He states then gives chase after her. (Aww~ He does care. ☺️)

(Y/N)'s P.O.V.

"Ow..." Okay, I have no idea what I did, but... I shake my head and stand up. "Ah." I hiss and roll my shoulder to soothe the pain. That robot is still trying to take down Tails and Chris- They're okay! Phew. Okay, focus! I look at my hands and try to feel that feeling. Come on, I need another boost. But nothing! "Gah! Okay, think. Think." I try to think of something, but I hear a door open and look back to find, "Huh?" A red creature with boxing mitts. This must be another one of Sonic's friends. He looks at me and we stare at each other for a moment.

"What are you doing here? It's not safe." He says. "Really? What makes you think I'm wearing this helmet?" I knock on my helmet to emphasize. (They're bonding. That's good to see.) The elevator opens and a pink hedgehog steps out of it. "What took you so long?" The red guy says to her. But we step back from the giant hammer she has. "Leave Tails alone, you tin bully!" She charged at the robot. "Don't do it, Amy!" "Stop!" We shout at her. She hits the thing in the leg, but it does nothing. Shoot. It ends up grabbing her, "Hey!" I go to help her. "Wait!" "Dah!" I get pulled back and lose my balance a little but stay on my feet. I look to see the red guy holding my wrist.

"I'll take care of it." He lets me go and jumps at the robot. "Hold on, Amy!" He shouts. "Hold it, knucklehead." But Eggman appears between him and the robot. He stops and Eggman holds up his hands like he's gonna snap his fingers. "One more step and the girl's a goner." He snaps his fingers and Amy cries out in pain, "No! Knuckles!" Crud. This guy is unbelievable. Gotta think of something and fast! "Sonic, where are you?" I whisper.

But then I get that feeling again and I gasp. Something is coming. "My consolation is that it seems Sonic didn't." I blink when Eggman said that. Then I smirk and look up at him, "Don't be drawing conclusions without all the variables, 'Doctor.'" I state. He gasps then looks around, "Or did he? Perhaps this is all a trap!" He says. I slowly move towards the robot while he's distracted and stand under the pink hedgehog. Okay, how to get her free? I hold my hands up but then the robot's hand malfunctions and Amy is freed. "Aaah, oof!" She lands in my arms. (That's convenient. Or was it~?)

She looks around me, "Thanks." She says. I give her a smile, "No problem." But then a feel staring. "Uh-oh." Crap. "What the- Missile Wrist, crush them!" I turn around to see the robot raise its arm and I toss Amy at Knuckles. I look back and the robot swings its fist down at me and I hold up my arms to protect myself.

Third Person P.O.V.

The swing hits and dust surrounds where (Y/N) is. Knuckles catches Amy and the two look in shock. (AH! 😱) Missile Wrist rises and Eggman looks at the rubble, "Hm. One pest down, two to go." He states.

Tails and Chris watch from above in shock, "(Y/N)!" Chris yells, tears threaten to fall from his eyes at the thought of losing his sister. Tails grips the controls tightly but then gasps, "Wait! Look." He shouts.

Once the dust clears, (Y/N) is gone. Eggman gasps in shock, "What?!? How?!" He shouts indignantly. Knuckles puts Amy down on her feet then feels something next to him and looks to his left to find (Y/N). She lays on the ground and is a little rougher up with her hoodie ripped a little along with some scratches on her. He lowers and grabs her wrist, sighing in relief at feeling a pulse. "She's alive, just unconscious." He says. Amy rests her hands on her chest as she let out a breath, "Thank goodness." (Phew. 😮‍💨)

Chris smiles in relief at seeing (Y/N) alright, then looks to find a blue streak on the ground. "Help is on the way!" He says with a smile. "Huh?" Eggman grunts as he looks back.

Sonic races down the streets with a confident smile. (Now he makes his appearance.) "Get him, Sonic!" Chris cheers. Tails flies the Tornado to hover over the streets and right as it passes Sonic, Chris hands him a gold power ring. "Thanks." Sonic says, he harnesses the rings power with a laugh. "There he is. Get ready to fire." Eggman orders Missile Wrist and it does so. Sonic then performs a spin dash and quickly scales up the building. "Hurry. Fire!" Eggman orders, and Missile Wrist shoots multiple missiles from his chest.

Sonic's P.O.V.

Heh. He thought missiles could take me out? Not very smart, are ya, Egghead? I roll into the air then land and jump back and forth on the robots hands. This is actually kind of fun. I even smack my butt at Egghead. "Wise guy! I'll show you!" Okay, and I'll be doing a little dance while I'm at it. (He is so unserious sometimes.) "Sonic, try the old slap-on-the-wrist!" Not a bad idea, Knux. "Yeah." I hang onto on of the hands and get pulled to be in front of the bot. It looks at me and I pull down an eye lid while sticking my tongue at it. (😜) It raises its other hand then swings it at me but I jump and it breaks its own hand.

"Bye!" I jump high into the air then it fires more missiles at me. I avoid them and a huge smokescreen happens. I spin dash again and dive straight down and through the bot. It explodes and that's the end of that. Along with an extra crispy Eggman. I look at him with a smirk, "You lose." As always. "Hmmm this isn't over, blue boy. You haven't heard the last of Eggman. Soon I will rule this world, this universe, and the Chaos Emeralds will be mine!" He flies off. Yeah, yeah.

"Oh, Sonic! Sonic!" Huh- Gah! "You're okay!" Uuugh, at least Amy's okay. "Ugh, take it easy." Why does she always have to hug so hard? "For a while there, Sonic, I thought I'd never see you again." Okay, but- "Amy, please, let me go." She's cutting off my air.

"You finally decided to show up." I look to see (Y/N), but she is holding her shoulder and is roughed up. Wait, did she fight Eggman? "Now, I understand why you said he is not a friend. That guy is crazy. And what's with the robot? Is this what you do all the time?" She asks. I get Amy to let me go and I look up at (Y/N), "Pretty much." I answer causally. She frowns and I can tell she's giving me a look under those goggles. (I can see it too.)

Third Person P.O.V.

Men in full-body uniforms appear and the group looks at them. They point their guns at them. "All right, nobody move." One man orders. "Oh, great. Now what?" Knuckles asks annoyed. "Don't try to running away." The man states. Knuckles growls and clenches his fists as he glares them down, "Knuckles never runs from a fight." He states. The man in-charge sweat drops from Knuckles attitude, "H-Hey, easy, pal." He tries to calm him.

"Sonic!" Tails exclaims. Sonic, Amy and (Y/N) look to see a rope ladder hang onto the plane. Sonic holds onto Amy as he and (Y/N) grab onto it, but Knuckles keeps staring down the men. "Hey, Knuckles, come on!" Sonic shouts. "Don't give them any reason to put you on watchlist!" (Y/N) adds. Knuckles remains where he is, "Please, Knuckles, let's go!" Amy cries out. Knuckles growls for a bit then stops and runs off. "Get 'em!" The men fire.

Knuckles jumps off the roof and reaches for the ladder. (Y/N) lends out a hand and grabs him. She holds onto him as Tails flies them all away. (We have escaped!) "We'll go back to the house, guys." Chris says. "Cream and Cheese are already there waiting for us." Tails informs. "Wow, them too? So we're all here together." Amy says with a smile. "Count me out. This is where I get off." Knuckles states. He lets go of (Y/N), "Hey, where are you going?!" She shouts. "No don't go!" Amy exclaims. "See you around." Knuckles says then glides down to a park with lots of trees.

"He's not coming with us? Why not?" Amy asks. "That's Knuckles. He does things his way." Sonic answers. (Y/N) stares down for a moment then sighs, "I guess he prefers being alone." She says. Sonic hears her worry and looks to see her with a frown, "Don't worry. Knuckles is tough, nothing can keep him down." He says. (Y/N) looks at him, "If you say so." She responds. Tails flies the Tornado as the sun sets.
