I quickly grab as many soldiers as I can, the ones that were still too close to the blast zone but most others made it out of the area safe and sound. I quickly turn around, protecting the scouts against my body as a huge heat blast exploded behind me and the house I was hiding behind. The strong winds easily picked up loose infrastructure and set them flying.

"Is everyone ok!?" As soon as the winds stopped and Bertholdt throwing houses started, the soldiers checked each other before positioning themselves on the roof.

"If it weren't for (y/n) telling us to retreat early, I don't know how many soldiers we would've just lost." Moblit gasps out, watching Bertholdt try to get closer to the edge of the walls.

"Oh no. Look at all those houses up in the sky... One of them could be yours. Right Eren?" Connie mumbles out and I know he's in slight shock as I walk over to the Levi squad. "How does it feel to have your own roof over your head again? Get it!?" Connie laughs out like he's crazy and I huff out in annoyance as Jean looks over at me with an unamused face.

"(y/n), can you smack him for me." I flick Connies head softly with my finger and he groans out slightly in pain.

"You could've ripped my head off!" I glare at Connie as he whines out like a baby. I watch as the squad yells at Armin for his next orders, realising that Bertholdt was trying to burn Shinganshina to the ground. Jean tells the others to get on Eren to head to the river and I bolt towards the walls.

"(y/n)! Where are you going!?" Sasha screams out but I crouch and jump up over the walls easily in one swoop. I see the Beast titan widen his eyes as soon as he spots me. His hand was ready to throw rocks and I quickly pivot myself off the edge of the wall with my feet, flying through the air.

"Levi." I growl out and he looks up at me with wide eyes as I land in front of him and the group of scouts on the houses. "Hide!" I growl out, opening my jaw wider as the skin breaks. I take in a huge breath as the Beast titan throws the rocks and I scream out a high pitched howl, the sound echoing around me and shattering the rocks into smaller pieces like it would with glass. The scouts were ok, the pitch too high in frequency for them to hear but the titans all scream out in pain from the sound. "Fall back behind the walls now! Take cover!" I scream out as the Beast titan wounds his arm up again, ready to throw like a damn baseball player.

The scouts all fly back and Levi yells at me to do the same. "Dammnit (y/n)! Get down!" The Beast titan throws two handfuls of rocks and I take in a breath to scream out my howl. I protect myself as some of the rocks don't shatter, plowing through my body like bullets and leaving holes.

"Get back!" I scream out, running back towards the wall as the scouts hide against the wall with the horses.

"For fucks sake (y/n)-" Levi growls out but I ignore him, jump up and climbing the wall. "Get down!" Levi hisses out and I watch as Eren flies through the air when Bertholdt kicks him. I jump up and quickly grab him, yowling in pain as we fly against the ground as my back smashes through the houses.

I hear Eren call out for, shaking my body and I groan in pain, lying on the ground.

WHY!? WHY ARE YOU PROTECTING ME!?

I hiss out, shakily getting back up on my feet but I tumble down on my knees.

I'm so tired...

"(y/n)! Get up!" I hear Levi call out for me as I hunch over, extremely exhausted and in pain.

"Tired..." I groan out and Levi lands on the ground in front of me. I look at him weakly, surprised to see the scared look on his face flash before he goes stoic. My eyes widen at the sliver of emotion Levi showed me and I grow worried for him, the adrenaline kicking.

"You need to get to safety. I need you to get up!" I look behind me to see the Beast titan throw rocks again and I quickly dive to protect Levi. "(y/n) what are you doing!?" I screech out, covering Levi as the boulders slam against my back. I ignore the pain, gritting my teeth but my whole attention was on making sure he was ok. Levi looks up at me with a shocked look as my now shorter hair covered around him like a curtain, my hand on his back as I leaned over him. I pull him closer, closing my eyes as the urge to protect Levi overwhelmed me. "(Y/n)..."

"Everyone is ok right?" I huff out and Levi nods slowly and I lean back, shakily getting back on my feet before I grab him gently in my hands. Eren and I make a break for the walls as Levi sat in my palm.

Eren, get rid of the rubble.

Eren nods and runs towards the entrance, kicking it open. "Go!" I howl at the scouts as they get on their horses and quickly go through to hide behind the walls. I set Levi back down on his feet, watching as he glances up at me with pursed lips before going to Erwin to ask him for the next plan. I know that Erwin was ready to risk the lives of every soldier here but I was not. I peer through the entrance, the smoke billowing from the holes in my body as it slowly healed over.

I will not let anyone die.

Not on my watch.

No more lives will be taken.

No more grieving families.

I will protect them.

I growl out lowly, walking through the hole to face the Beast titan as my vision turns red. I sneer as my jaw snaps open, my fists balling in anger as I howled furiously.

DIE! YOU WILL DIE!

I howl out loudly to the sky as the bigger titans flinch and turn around to face the Beast titan, charging at him.  "Levi." I snap my jaw at him as he grapples his hook into my shoulder when I charge forward, running across the field.

"What are you doing!? You're going to kill yourself!"

"I will not let Erwin sacrifice any more lives." I growl out and Levi narrows his eyes at me. The Beast Titan tries to pry the titans off him and he manages to kill some of them by popping their heads off. He yells at them, breaking the titans out of their trance. I can see the Beast titan glare at me as his army of titans stand in position again, listening to him.

"Help (y/n)! We are soldiers and we will not back down until humanity is saved!" I turn around when I hear Erwin yell out and I growl out in annoyance seeing the scouts scream out on their horses as they ran behind me.

Damn you Erwin!

"Ready?" I grumble at Levi as I turn to face him when the Beast titan gets ready to throw again. He nods and I freeze in my spot, watching as the ugly bastard looks at me in confusion as to why I stopped running towards him. I growl lowly, my skin crawling with red lightning as my eyes glow, the sky darkening quickly as lightning circles above me.

"Kill him." My voice distorts, a large explosion of red lightning streaks cracking down on the field in front of me and the scouts like an electrical wall. "Die!" I howl out and slam my hands down on the ground, the lightning exploding again as smoke burst all around us. The red lightning crawled over the field quickly like living vines and electrocuted the titans, them howling in pain. Levi zips off with the help of the smoke blanketing us, taking down the titans one by one.  I hear wind rushing and the smoke breaks apart as rocks fly through the air when Levi whips up the Beast titans arm and shedding his arm into pieces with his blade. I swipe my hand quickly, trying to smack the rocks away but I hear someone scream behind me.

"Commander!" I turn around and sigh out, knowing Erwin got hit but that had to happen for the story to continue. I grab some of the smoke canisters and throw them in the direction of the Beast titan, them exploding and covering Levi as he manages to blind the monkey and slicing at his heels. I watch in amazement as Levi grows full-blown furious, ripping Zeke's body out from his titan form.

He's fucking amazing.

I look up when I hear rumbling and I see the cart titan run towards Levi and I rush towards it, colliding against it and shoving it on its back but it rolls over easily and grabs Zeke's body. Zeke yells out for the titans to attack Levi and I know he's going to be ok.

"Go! Stop Reiner and Bertholdt!" Levi yells out and I nod, running back to the walls.

"Retreat back home. Now." I growl out at the scouts and they hesitantly leave.

Good, the story is continuing just as it's supposed to.
