Third Person Point Of View
"Sabrina, just calm down. It's no big deal...", Jenna said in a calm tone of voice to her sister.
"Calm down? Calm down?!", Sabrina retorted back as her blood began to boil. She began pacing back and forth running her hands through her tangled hair which hadn't been combed properly in days.
Jenna rubbed her hands together trying to gain back her warmth since they left the fire. Which took ages to start, "Please, just calm down. The fire will still be lit, and our campsite will be in its same state we left it in."
Sabrina sighed obviously annoyed, "Okay, whatever. Let's just uh... Go this way."
The two got lost on their way to look for more firewood. Sabrina began panicking, while Jenna....Well, Jenna was just being Jenna.
"Let's just try to retrace our steps back, yeah?"
"Sure.", Sabrina rolled her eyes as she began walking towards what she thought was the campsite. Jenna smiled happily to herself. She knew Sabrina wasn't exactly the happiest at the moment, but at least she calmed her down and got her to cooperate.
Jenna followed in Sabrina's footsteps until she heard someone or something behind her. She stopped in her tracks and grabbed Sabrina's wrist stopping her too.
"What now?", Sabrina groaned turning around to face a freighted Jenna.
She eyed Jenna's facial expression and realized something was undeniably wrong. She was going to question her further but figured there was no point in it. She closed her gaped mouth and listened closely.
They both heard rustling in some leaves a few meters back. The forest they were stranded in was covered in trees. Which was great but bad in this type of situation. Bad because they didn't know who or what was following them.
Jenna gulped, closed her eyes, and held onto Sabrina with a tighter grip if that was even possible.
Sabrina put her free hand under Jenna's chin and lifted her head up, "Jenna..."
Jenna slowly opened her eyes afraid to look her sister in the face.
"Listen to me...I want you to run. Don't look back. Don't try to be a hero and save me if something happens. Just run and never look back."
"W-what, Sabrina-"
"Jenna, I'm not asking you. I'm telling you. When I let you go I want you to run east, and I'll run west. No matter how far we run from each other I will find you again, I promise."
"Sabrina, we can't just split up and run I won't do it!"
"Jenna, I'll distract it while you run that way.", Sabrina commanded pointing to a path that looked less dangerous than the path Sabrina was going to take "Trust me."
Jenna's eyes began to water, "Okay..." She let her sister go and clenched her fist, "I'm ready."
Sabrina held her breath once she saw Jenna dash to the east direction. She wasn't looking back. She was doing exactly as she was told.
Sabrina whistled waving her arms in the air trying to gain the attention of whatever was following them, "Over here! Come and get me!"
Sabrina heard the rustling start to run towards her and she slowly began to walk backwards. Almost falling over a fallen branch once she realized it's pace became faster. She turned around still taunting it as she ran, "Come and get me!"
For Jenna, she was running. She knew her sister was going to be okay. Sabrina was always one to take care of herself. Jenna didn't fret the whole situation much. Yes, it seemed extreme but Sabrina promised Jenna everything was going to be okay. And she never broke her promises.
Jenna slowed down as she caught her breath. She stood in-between a few trees and shrubs sighing. This looked safe enough to rest for now. Jenna started to recollect her thoughts. What was she going to do now?
As she was questioning everything she felt a strong force push her up against a tree. Having the air knocked out of her she began to feel light headed.
She felt her head begin to throb in pain and she held a hand full of her hair. Everything was just happening so fast.
Her vision became blurry and her knees became weaker. The last words she heard before everything went black was...
"Hey, beautiful stay with me~"
